This past Monday, the pod reunited and sat down ahead of the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix in which there is still a lot to play for in both the Drivers and Constructors Championship. We discuss Verstappen's championship chances against Lando Norris and if Ferrari can catch McLaren by the end of the season. In addition, we talk about the new updates in Las Vegas as it hosts the second edition of the sport’s newest event. We discuss our thoughts regarding the recent change for the Canadian Grand Prix as it will now be moved to earlier in the calendar starting in 2026 and the impact it will have here at home. See you at Trinity Common this weekend for the Las Vegas Grand Prix!
Max Verstappen took a major step toward securing his fourth straight F1 title by winning the Brazilian Grand Prix this past Sunday. Andrew and Ricci sat down to discuss Verstappen's win from 17th place, his first Grand Prix win since the Spanish Grand Prix in June, and his end to a 10-race winless streak. We also discuss McLaren's dismal Sunday showing and the emergence of Alpine to jump to 6th in the Constructors Championship.
Ricci and Andrew sat down Tuesday night to discuss the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix which saw Carlos Sainz win his 2nd race of the season and help leapfrog Red Bull Racing in the Constructors Championship. The Pod discusses the Ferrari resurgence and debate if the team from Marinello should focus on the Constructors Championship vs the Drivers Championship. The Pod gives their take on the double penalties to Max Verstappen and if they were justifiable.
Enjoy and see you next week!
Please note we did not record an episode for the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix due to scheduling conflicts. We are finally back! Ferrari reigned supreme at The Circuit of The Americas, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz securing a superb one-two in the United States since 2006. Andrew and Ricci sat down on Monday to discuss our thoughts at COTA this past weekend. We debate the latest change from the FIA to remove the fastest lap point for the 2025 season and if Ferrari is the team to beat for the Constructor's Championship. Lastly, we give our verdict on the Verstappen/Norris Penalty. Enjoy!
