I think the single most important thing you can do as a Jesus following woman today, is to become effective at reviving the Christian worldview among the secular people in your sphere of influence, because wokeness is actually a counterfeit gospel. Wokeness is calling for political revolution when what we really need is spiritual revival. And that’s where you come in. The world needs you & your redeemed voice now more than ever because the things you believe in have the ability to recreate the common ground we need. This episode is all about equipping you to become an agent of Revival by showing you what wokeness looks like on paper, why it can’t deliver on its promises of healing and unity across boundaries and the creation of a more just and fair society -- and why the Biblical worldview can.

Young people between the ages of 16-21 will be voting in their first presidential election in just 2 years, AND this age group is more secular than any age group before it, which is significant, because the secular worldview really can’t compare to the Christian worldview in terms of the kinds of politics it produces.

Particularly when it comes to the issue of rights. That’s the topic for today…how God-given rights are much better than government given rights. These need to be made aware of the differences between these two ways of looking at political rights, but they probably aren’t going to be wiling to go to church and let the pastor tell them.

So you’re going to have to do it.

We will talk about a Facebook comment made the day the Dobbs decision came down, and we will consult the Declaration of Independence to see what it has to say about our rights and where they came from.

Plus we will take a look at what happens when we attempt to view humanity as having something less than 'divine value' as Jordan Peterson calls it, and how that affects the way human rights are shaped.

Ultimately, its the Christian Worldview which bestows the highest respects to individual human life, and subsequently shapes human rights consistently with individual human value. When we replace the Christian Worldview with a secular one, we will have laid the groundwork for eroding the rights which are so desperately needed in a well-functioning society.

If you can help the young people in your life see this clearly, you will help contribute to slowing down the secular march we've been on, and to healing the political divide which flows from it.
