A podcast by Sportin' MS, a charity seeking to remove the stigma around Multiple Sclerosis, helping support the mental and emotional wellbeing of those with MS and their loved ones. On the Thrivin' with MS podcast, the charity's outgoing founder Antoinette Bunyan draws on her Caribbean roots & love for dancing to inject some energy, passion and candour into the topic of MS. She sits down with a range of guests, including those who have been diagnosed with MS as well as thought leaders in the space, to openly share the journeys, stories and strategies that demonstrate how, despite living with MS, we can still thrive!
In this episode, Antoinette sits down with her friend and fellow MS sufferer Natalie, whose MS has affected her ability to walk without assistance, and if that wasn’t enough, has also recently suffered a broken hip.
Moving through the stages of MS has been a tough pill for her to swallow, as it would be for anyone, but despite everything, Natalie’s wicked sense of humour and hilarious anecdotes make this episode a very special one.
