About Our Guest:
Bob Turner serves as Fortinet’s cybersecurity executive and thought leader for education, state and local government. He heads up Fortinet's Education Customer Advisory Board and enjoys sharing his knowledge and learning from the public sector communities at the Federal, State and local level along with higher education and K-12 information technology and cybersecurity leaders. He also works closely with the education sector’s network of public and private organizations. Before joining Fortinet, Bob served as CISO at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and was a senior manager of cybersecurity consulting teams supporting military, energy, installation management, education, and healthcare clients. Bob served in the US Navy in the telecommunications and information systems field as an enlisted Radioman and a commissioned officer. He holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in information security and management and has held the CISSP certification for nearly 20 years.
