At the beginning of my digital product journey, I learned two lessons:

  1. Not everything that glitters is gold, meaning just because you made a great offer doesn’t mean it’s going to sell.

  2. Having a funnel is where it’s at.

So, in this episode, I share more about these lessons and where the magic happens!

Lastly, I discuss the A.R.C. method I use in my marketing strategy so you can use it, too!

Today, Aimme shares the story of how she created a money mindset in her mind, a story about how she failed her family when she didn’t reach a certain income. However, the point of her starting her business was to be present with her family in the moments that mattered. Years later, after working with a coach, she realized that that was the money mindset story she had planted in her head. And that sparked her interest in diving into personal finances.

Aimme provides the definition, or a clear distinction, of a solopreneur because although I have a VA and a podcast editor, I still feel like a solopreneur—marketing, social media, and making decisions are all me. We also dive into the profit-first business model.

Lastly, Aimme shares why focusing on paying off debt shouldn’t be the main goal; instead, we should focus on our net worth. It has to do with mindset!

She makes money simple for the female entrepreneur who is ready to finally ditch financial stress, struggle, and frustration. So now she blends the practical strategies and mindset work together to help you simplify, solidify, and scale your money by stepping into unstoppable finances. You can finally figure out how to earn money without sacrificing your lifestyle.

Have you always wanted to start a business, but you just can't find the time? Or are you struggling to balance your own business with mom life? Today we are joined by Miriam Airington-Fisher, a practicing lawyer and mom of three who helps women achieve their entrepreneurial goals without sacrificing family time.

In this episode, Miriam shares how she built her successful, family-friendly law practice, why she chose to start coaching Moms, and how she guides women to not only thrive in their career, but also in their personal life.

Listen now to hear Miriam's solution to finding joy in both your work and home life, and learn why you DON'T have to sacrifice either to feel fulfilled.

About Miriam:

I'm a lawyer, writer and entrepreneur. While raising 3 kids, I've build a seven-figure women-led law firm specializing in civil rights, criminal defense and immigration. I relied on trial and error and 'learning on the job' to build the firm into a profitable business that aligned with my work-life balance. Out of that, I decided to write a book and create digital products designed specifically to help lawyer moms build aligned practices. I still run my firm, and my husband and I are raising our kids (along with some chickens) on our land outside Richmond, Va.

Listen now to learn how Joy always makes time for her family, and listen to the end to hear the Q+A we had with Joy!

About Joy:

Joy K. Massenburge is the author of A Cry for Independence and A Heart Surrendered, African American Christian Romances. She crafts the love stories based on the principles learned from marrying a man she didn’t love until after “I do.” Born the sixth child of a pastor, she married a football player turned pastor…they raised pastor’s kids; a son and two daughters. As a pastor’s wife, she found her voice speaking at marriage and women’s conferences and retreats throughout Texas. She filled her speaking material with her poems, short stories, and devotions. She added narrator to her professional portfolio when she debuted in Michelle Stimpson’s “MAMA B: A Time to Speak,” audible book. She is also a contributing author for Our Daily Bread: Oh, Freedom edition.

As the visionary of Joy K. Massenburge & Associates, she helps busy, businesswomen and creatives manage deadlines, family, and personal goals by co-authoring the action steps they need to finish the projects they start. She serves on the national board of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW). When she is not writing, she is providing Psalm 119 Inspirational videos, or keynote speaking at retreats and conferences.

She resides near Tyler, Texas. You can find her curled up on her back-porch swing reading a good book with her grandchildren, caretaking for a donkey, a hen, and a dog, or filling her five-acre country home with fifty-plus people for a Blue Bell ice cream party.

Events take an incredible amount of effort, sweat equity, and resources to pull off successfully. There are certain things you need to have in place before you even consider telling a single person about the event and that’s a great thought-provoking WHY.

So before we get into the nitty-gritty of putting together a show stopper and after you secured your Why, which will help you in those low points and establish the market in which your event is made for, you have to consider your resources and budget. This is when a plan starts coming into place.

Thankfully you’re reading this article to help provide you with a great advantage toward your successful endeavor.

What went wrong? At the time I didn’t know it, but I didn’t have a strong enough WHY and because of that, it trickled down to not having any form of strategy, goal setting, or a marketing plan that converted. How strong your WHY is, will eventually lead to how successful your event will be. Remember this when putting together your next successful event.

Worrying too much on the perceptions of others. We all want to do our best. Sometimes you're extra vulnerable during the pursuit of your dream and you can be a victim of self-doubt. Get to Know Melissa

Do you have a nickname?Frugal Mom

How old are you?51

How old are you at heart?25

What is your title and company?Owner | Adventures of Frugal Mom

What year did you launch your business?2011

What has been a highlight during the time you’ve run your business?Being able to interview one of the Real Housewives of Dallas for my women in business series. Also when the first person I stepped out of my comfort zone to interview for a series on the blog told me that they have been impressed with how far I have come. And to watch the blog grow is amazing.

What has been a lowlight and how did you bounce back?Female entrepreneurs who ride my coattails and then steal my ideas. Learning that sometimes things need to be kept in the vault until it is time to bring them into the business

What do you tell yourself that keeps you motivated? That there is a purpose behind everything I do that God sent the people and companies my way to fulfill His plan for me. Do I always know that plan? Nope. Do I balk at the plan? Yep, most days I do but still, that is what keeps me motivated.

What would you say is one thing you do that refreshes you?Walking getting exercise and spending time with friends. Sometimes I combine all 3 things.

What do you want readers to gain from following you on social media?I want them to know they aren't alone in how they are feeling. Too many times, influencers don't share their real-life on social media and that creates a false sense that many people don't feel like they can live up to. With me what you see is what you get - somedays I am put together and somedays I am a mess but I am categorically me!! So if they want a taste of real-life experiencing menopause, watching children grow up, and being married to an immigrant from Mexico than that is what they get when they follow me.

What lessons have you learned through running your business and pursuing your dreams?I have learned I have to get out of my own way. Because let's face it, we are our own worst critics. I had to let go of all the anxiety I felt and the what-if questions to step into the plans God has for me.

Meet Leslie Limardo

Leslie Limardo is the founder of Life Management Coaching, an organization that helps women clarify their priorities, simplify their lives to focus, and confidently work on and accomplish their goals.

In today’s episode we talk about:- How to identify your true priorities- Why it is a blessing to only have 24 hours a day- How to create your day that fills your cup

Leslie Limardo is a single mother, first-generation immigrant, and New York, native. She is the founder of Life Management Coaching, an organization that helps women clarify their priorities, simplify their lives to focus, and confidently work on and accomplish their goals. She is passionate about guiding women to see invisible mindsets that keep them from successfully managing their lives and business.

Get to Know Leslie Limardo

Do you have a nickname?No

How old are you?46

How old are you at heart?46

What is your title and company?Life Management Coaching

What year did you launch your business?2018

What has been a highlight during the time you’ve run your business? The flexibility it has given me to homeschool my high schooler. When my daughter was younger, I spent many years working and spent no quality time with her. Raising her felt like a burden to my success at work-that's why I quit. Now I'm getting that time back, and I love it.

What has been a lowlight and how did you bounce back?Years spent trying to find my niche. I had two groups of women I was passionate about helping. I'm multi-passionate and wanted to help the women I see as well as the women who are around me (friends, and family). Eventually, I chose one group and have been focused.I spent a lot of time frustrated and confused. Did God really call me to entrepreneurship? But I kept doing the work, seeing clients, praying, asking, and eventually, it came to me.

What do you tell yourself that keeps you motivated?I find I have less motivation the older I get-which has been difficult. In my twenties, I was passionate, driven, and ambitious. In my forties, I don't want to spend as much time working. I want to spend time with my daughter and do other things like traveling. However, to get that life I have to work. I think of my "why" all of the time to help me focus. Also, setting up systems where you don't think and just do, also helps. Motivation comes every once in a while. If you wait until you are motivated you will never get anything done.

What would you say is one thing you do that refreshes you?Naps and daily prayer time! I nap daily in the middle of the day. I work best at night so that's how I structure my schedule. Also my time with God in the morning. I spill everything in the morning so I'm not thinking about things during the day I can't control. I surrender and give them up early in the morning.

What do you want readers to gain from following you on social media?Clarity, simplification, and mindset shifts that women need to make. My email list is also where I spend most time giving tips.

What lessons have you learned through running your business and pursuing your dreams?I worked in a university setting for over twenty years, and while it was challenging work, it was easier than entrepreneurship. In a company, you have an audience and a mission, and your job is to do your job. As an entrepreneur, you are creating all of it: an audience, establishing yourself as an expert, the mission, etc.I also have to see my dreams as something that can actually happen. It's very easy to give up because it's hard but I have to learn to stay focused.

What is your favorite lipstick color?l don't wear lipstick. Natural colored gloss

Do you prefer coffee or tea?Hot chocolate!

Finish this sentence: “Be the woman….”Be the woman who changes her mind about what's possible.

HELLO, LOVE!

This week I Speak With Kelli, The Grief Guru. Over the years, she has helped families who've lost loved ones turn their pain into purpose, just as she did in her own life. After losing her mother to suicide in 2017, she was deep in the throes of grief and could barely get through the day and get out of bed. When she tried to find help, she couldn't find the support and tools she needed, so was forced to deal with it on her own. Just as she was recovering from the loss of her mother, a year later, she was faced with the worst loss for a parent - the loss of her 20-year old son, Quintin, who died of an accidental drug overdose. Join me on this episode as she discusses her healing process from tremendous losses, and how she was able to navigate through the hard times and use her pain to help others. A few noteworthy sections that we will be discussing on the show: Grief is part of our journey in Life. We can feel so helpless in the face of Grief The deeper the Grief, the closer God is! No matter how broken your heart is, the world doesn't stop for your Grief.

Kelli Nielsen, The Founder of the Grief Guru didn't grow up with aspirations of becoming The Grief Guru. Although, after experiencing divorce, bankruptcy, and cancer twice she felt like she had learned a thing or two about overcoming adversity. For months grief swept her out to sea and threatened to take her under once and for all.

After a chance meeting that would change her life, she decided she would discover the tools and skills needed to navigate grief and get back to a happy and productive life. She set her heart and mind to that task by reading, studying, praying, and through good old trial and error.

She discovered a system that worked, because just a year and a half after her mother died, her 20 year old son died of an accidental drug overdose. Grief came in like a flood but this time she was prepared! She was able to navigate grief so much more productively and noticed the night and day difference in her grieving process. She knew she couldn't keep this information to herself! Kelli now teaches others to use her developed Grief Relief process to navigate whatever hard season they are facing. She teaches others to move forward on purpose, in purpose and design the life they truly love.

What has been a highlight during the time you’ve run your business?Reading a testimonial from a mom who lost her child to suicide and hearing that by reading my book she found a sliver of hope by hearing my story. Knowing that I helped give her a sliver of hope in a seemingly hopeless situation is the reason I do what I do.

What has been a lowlight and how did you bounce back?Just the continual process of having to learn the best way to deliver my product and services to the audience that needs it. It has been a steep learning curve combined with patience for myself and the process.

What do you tell yourself that keeps you motivated? The memory of my mom and son along with the mission and message to help those that are struggling with grief.

HELLO LOVES, Thank you for stopping by today! Today is a subject that I find myself dwelling in for far too much which doesn't allow me to finish projects, post when I need to or just put the work I have done out there. You may be familiar with the culprit in your own work or personal life. I'm talking about Perfectionism, and it plagues many of us entrepreneurs. I speak on not only the concept of perfectionism but how it corresponds to failure. It's an interesting concept one I hope you gain revelation from by listening to today's show!

Help me get to 2K! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram http://instagram.com/lindamendible

As I love interacting there and posting more inspirational topics including the 30days of Grace Challenge, which is one of my favorite challenges to host as it is incredibly eye-opening and encouraging. It will not disappoint!

How perfectionism can lead to procrastination How procrastination can lead to failure What it means to run your race The significance of passing the baton! Rocky! Oh yea I touch on Rocky Balboa

Hello Love,   I'm sure, if you're anything like me, you've heard the jargon. "Vibrating at a higher frequency" "Christ consciousness" (which I still don't get) Etc, etc, etc. The truth is, happiness, joy, fulfillment, peace is all that we are looking for. Once we have our basic necessities met it becomes crystal clear that there is more to life than merely surviving.

But can it be love, that we have access to an abundance deeper than depths of the sea. That we indeed have it all and just don't realize it?

Confession time, I've been running full speed ahead, at what I thought I was meant to do. I got enamored with this "lifestyle" of entrepreneurship and one thing I've learned during my journey is that each of us struggle with different things.

For example, some of us may be struggling with jealousy or some insecurity, lack of self-confidence or some depression. We all struggle with different "weaknesses"

The Truth shall set you free. John 8:32 I believe, before we set off to conquer what ever it is we want to succeed on, in life or in business we have to understand certain truths as people and as individuals.

We have to understand there comes a point that God will ask us, you, to Stretch. To stretch outside of those weaknesses you believe are hindering you from reaching your full potential or dream. I once thought, if I was financially free I'd be happier. I wouldn't worry so much and I'd have "freedom". That perhaps, one of my weakness is not having the right finances. So, I started praying. I started praying for the first time in my life for God to grant me financial freedom. I'd wish I was typing this on a beach somewhere sippin' on a piñacolada. Picture a warm sandy beach. I heard of stories specifically, that really put things into perspective not only with life but within myself.

It dawned on me, in that moment that I was actually, this is so embarrassing, believing that perhaps my life would be easier, that my happiness, fulfillment would come from having a successful business?

I thought: that God would be glorified, I would leave a legacy and the Hubbs can pursue anything he wants too!

No worries of bills, no worry about living from paycheck to paycheck. I thought all that would make me happier or at least make life easier. Nah mean (slang for: you know what I mean).

It wasn't until these two very specific stories that I...
