The Standard Paradox Podcast: Recent Episodes

David Hall & Conner Moon

We’ve created, “The Standard Paradox”, as a place for people from all walks of life to have spiritually-led conversations about their unique experiences.

This isn’t a podcast just for Christians. It’s about overcoming obstacles and breaking down the idea that Christians are all perfect people with perfect lives, who never make mistakes and think themselves better than everyone else. We all have a story to tell, so hopefully you enjoy listening! Because out of brokenness we can all flourish.

In episode number six of The Standard Paradox Podcast, David and Conner sit down to discuss the current conflict in Ukraine after Russian forces invaded this week.

Whilst David and Conner are by no means experts on the matter, they both have thoughts and feelings that they felt the need to discuss. They talk about their feelings around the conflict itself, how we have been personally affected by the conflict and its coverage, and how our faith becomes a part of our feelings too.

This is certainly quite a controversial topic at the moment, so we would encourage feedback and civil discussion in the comments if you so desire, and any and all communication with Conner and David is always welcome.

Thanks for listening, and look forward to seeing you back again for the next one!

In episode number FIVE of The Standard Paradox Podcast, David and Conner are joined by Chandler Moon, Conner's older brother! That's right, it's a family episode. Vin Diesel would be proud.

Chandler works for State Farm Insurance and also serves in the youth ministry at Midway Church in Villa Rica, GA.

Chandler and Conner have a lot to share about their story growing up. With Chandler being the eldest of three brothers in a broken home, he shares his experiences about feeling that pressure, going months without speaking to one of his brothers over a family dispute, growing in his faith and learning to accept what he can and cannot control in his and other people's lives, and also finding true love!

There are certainly some more heavy topics discussed in this episode, so if there is anyone out there listening to this who has any questions or would like someone to talk to about anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. That's why we do this!

Thanks for listening, and look forward to seeing you back again for the next one!
