Let's open up and be fearlessly authentic with eachother. Surrounded with positivity and encouragement I hope to spread the Good News of Christ's love for YOU!
This episode we talk about the power of a Gentle Spirit! Gentleness is power, wisdom, beauty and evidence of the Lord's presence. In this short episode, we will go over what the Word has to say about gentleness despite what the world may think. I hope you feel encouraged to go forth and practice responding in a gentle manner so others around you can feel the Lord and experience his grace and love by the power of the Holy Spirit through you!
The battle between the flesh and the spirit. Let's talk about choosing instant gratification over Jesus. It's really what it boils down to, but don't worry Jesus is gracious and loves us none the less. Let's pray into the very thing that brings us self destruction and ask the Holy Spirit to help us choose Him over anything else. Why not? Prayer is powerful afterall!
The Lord is FAITHFUL and the perfect example of it He is. In this last episode of the year I share my experience of God's faithfulness. We can definitely learn from the master Himself and grow in the spirit of faithfulness. I encourage you to seek after the Lord and be amazed by His faithfulness to His children.
Taste and see that the Lord is GOOD. Lets get into the goodness of God. It's definitely an experience and an experience worth sharing. If you have trusted the Lord with your soul, you have tasted His goodness and know it is sweet, juicy, fulfilling, and so much more. In our walk with God, not only do we get the pleasure of experiencing His goodness in our lives, but we get to share in the fruit of the spirit as we spending time with the Holy Spirit and produce goodness. This is not just doing good works, but being used by the Lord to share an experience of His goodness.
Our identity in Christ is of great value. We are created to the likeness of our God. One of His characteristics is KINDNESS. It is part of who we are when we receive Christ. We are then, empowered to fight off the lies from the enemy to be kind to self and with the overflow be kind to others. We can use this fruit as a weapon against the enemy. Let's armor up with kindness!
Happy New Year fam! I was driving on New Years Day and was lost in my thoughts as most of us were/still are. How do we make 2021 better than 2020? Well God is GOOD all the time. and ALL the time God is Good. I pour out some thoughts that I hope encourage you to live for the Lord. Fan the flame and let's go to work! The harvest is PLENTIFUL, but the workers are few. We are survivors and conquerors who are here for a purpose! Are you ready to live it out?
Let's suit up and learn more about the Armor of God the Lord equips us with. The Lord shares with us His very armor He uses to fight against the enemy. Dress appropriately! The days are evil. Reject evil and you become a prey, but we have SWEET VICTORY!
The transition from summer to fall isn't always joyful for me. I have tested the Lord's promise of Joy and Songs that come when we sow in tears. The cold weather usually takes me into a place of sadness, but this time my heart posture is different. My fuse used to be a lot shorter, and I'm grateful my patience has grown as I have waited for the chance for Hope to float up and be my anchor.
I had a thought! 🙂 To go live or not? Weekly devotionals may be coming. I need prayers for direction! Send me encouragement and or scriptures as the Lord leads. Listen to my random thought as I process where I feel I may be led. Also quick update on where we are in the Fruits of the Spirit! Don't forget to do daily H.E.A.R.T checks!
PEACE. The 3rd fruit of the spirit. (3 is my favorite # BTW-Random Note on me) Anita Luna-Caulk shares an awesome perspective on peace and practical ways we can achieve a place of peace. She brings a wealth of knowledge on the scriptures and points us directly to the Word. You're going to want to grab a pen and paper to take notes! She also gives us a reminder to do our H.E.A.R.T check! (Hurting, Exhausted, Anger, Resentful, TIred)
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. Psalms 119:111 KJV. The Lord wants us to share our stories to rejoice in them to honor Him. Joy is a fruit of the spirit and a promise from God which NO ONE can steal. NO ONE can steal our joy! Jesus brings joy as an offering in exchange for our trials. It is His will to turn our sufferings into joy. In this episode I share the moment in my life where the Lord turned my mourning into joy! The Lord wants you to have the JOY JOY JOY JOY down in your heart to stay! I know the heartache of trusting the Lord in the trials, but trusting Him brings us the promise of His joy. Do you trust Him? Listen and as you do, I pray you feel encouraged to share your story or to invite him to your sufferings. God bless you!
L is for the way you look at me? No. No. No. Love is love? Not quite. What is love? Baby, don't hurt me. Are you Searching for Some Real Love? Walk with me through scripture and uncover the beauty of LOVE. The heart is very deceitful and we are often times unsure to follow it even when the logic in our brain is warning us. Love is the first fruit of the spirit mentioned in Galations. It is also the first commandment from Jesus and out of faith, hope and love; love is the Greatest to hold on to. Since I believe it to be true, let's outline what love means and how we can use it to conquer it all!
There is hope through all the chaos we are currently facing. This is a message I feel the Lord wants to share with you for this moment at this time. As a citizen of this nation and most importantly the Heavenly Kingdom I am called to shine light into the darkness and bring hope to the hopeless. We are standing strong as a nation under God, indivisible fighting for liberty and justice for all because we will and already hold VICTORY through Jesus! There is a spiritual battle waging right now and it is time to Armor up and fight with our prayers like never before. At least I haven't in my lifetime. Thank you for listening and I am praying you feel a nudge in your heart to keep pressing on knowing Jesus is on your side.

Hey everyone! Some of you followed my marathon training and gave me such beautiful, kind, and encouraging words. I wanted to take you behind the lense of social media and give you my story on how it really went down! The purpose of my training was hard for me to define, but I truly feel it was God humbling my heart. He allowed me to share in His glory through my friend. A moment she worked so hard for. I learned it was a far greater joy to celebrate her triumph rather than my own accomplishment. Thank you Ryan Hall for writing your book, "Run the Mile You're In"! His book really helped guide me in my training to remain focused on God! Not that I always did, but He revealed Himself to me through each one of you! 😀
What sweet fruit we bear when we remain in the Spirit. Lets do some heart checks! I don't practice this enough, but it's good to do a check up on our own mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. How can we bear the fruits of the spirit? And how to be full of the fruit? Let's go into the Word and explore what it says and how we can tie it all into our health!

Seriously, PTO is for everyone! I thought I was going to heal from a break up, but God had more in mind. (Thankfully). I have learned to lean into the power of His healing and picked up some pretty useful tools to hold on to my joy. I hope to inspire and encourage you to seek healing too. You are valued and owe it to yourself to bring out the best in yourself. 💖
