The Social Contract

THE SOCIAL CONTRACT podcast is for political junkies who might have forgotten just how fun (and often comical) politics and Washington's political figures can be.

The podcast was created as a companion piece of sorts to George S. Corey’s book, Presidential Conversations, which was inspired by and features original illustrations by the artist CLEO. CLEO’s work will accompany all of our podcast episodes. But you don’t need to be familiar with the book to thoroughly enjoy THE SOCIAL CONTRACT podcast.

A lot of what you’ll hear on THE SOCIAL CONTRACT will be fictional, satirical send-ups of the hot-button political issues of the day. But sometimes we’ll get a little more serious, because we take our name from something we on the creative team all take very seriously — the social contract.

What is the social contract? It’s the idea that citizens in a society will work together — collaborate and cooperate — for everyone’s social benefit.
