There are no surprises here, but VAR was the main sporting talking point in the world of football this week. The VAR audio recording from the Luis Diaz disallowed goal vs. Tottenham was released by the Premier League and it's fair to say it's a shocker.
Man United are going from bad to worse, Domino's bring Chelsea some good luck (finally) and Jude Bellingham is unstoppable.
The New England Patriots lost a key player through injury, but gained a valuable replacement, and are the Vikings back?!
Europe dominates at the Ryder Cup, we discuss some of the key talking points from the weekend.
Plus, all the World Cups are happening at once as the ODI Cricket World Cup begins, alongside the Rugby World Cup!

It's a BIG episode this week as we are joined by the absolute legends Luke and Ben from The Corridor of Uncertainty podcast, to have a look back at our ridiculous top 6 ranking from the start of the season, and of course, the FPL forfeit - sorry Ben!
After Ben's fate has been revealed we jump into a bit of a football waffle and discuss Chelsea's chances next season, a preview of the Champions League final, where Luton will finish in the Premier League next season, an assessment of the FA Cup final and Man United's season on the whole, and the Fabrizio Romano pyramid scheme.
Please give the boys over at The Corridor of Uncertainty a follow and a listen, they are ahead of the game right now with their football content! Look forward to seeing the photographic evidence of the forfeit on your socials!

Ollie and Sam here from b2b Sports, bringing you all the latest sports headlines from the past week.
It was inevitable in the end, wasn't it? Man City were crowned Premier League Champions last weekend after their 1-0 victory at home to Chelsea, can they complete the treble though?
Golf had one of the year's feel-good stories as Club Pro, Michael Block, had the weekend of his life at the PGA Championship in New York. I'll be disappointed if this story isn't a film or documentary on Netflix this time next year!
It's looking like plain sailing for the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets in the NBA Playoffs, Jofra Archer suffers another heartbreaking injury setback, Pat McAfee and the boys get the bag as they sign to EPSN, love it or hate it; it's Monaco race-week and much much more!
And, of course, the Hardest Geezer is still stomping.

How are we doing people?
b2b Sports Podcast is back in action this week, and what a week it's been!
In the football world, Chelsea finally got a dub, Northampton Town got promoted to League 1, Busquets called it a day at Barcelona, and as always the Championship provided some top-quality final-day drama.
The NFL schedules were released and the teams got proper creative with it, shoutout the Tennessee Titans! This week we also found out who was playing at the NFL international games, and it's fair to say Germany got the better side of the deal.
Unfortunately, it was another snooze fest at the Miami GP, the County Championship provided some good insight for The Ashes, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz had an awkward encounter, NBA playoff updates, and much much more!
The Hardest Geezer and Jason Tindell are joint heroes of the week, need I say any more.

What is the craic, everyone? b2b Sports, we are back!
Just when it seems like it can't get any worse for Chelsea Football Club, they've now been dragged into a relegation battle. Sam, and I dissect yet another Chelsea defeat, this time to title-challenging Arsenal. The Blues currently sit on 39 points, 9 away from the drop and looking like they won't pick up another point this season, is it possible they could get caught with a handful of games remaining?! They still have to play City, United and Newcastle - it's not looking good bruv.
The NFL draft went down in Kanas City, and the main talking point was poor Will Levis. The prospect was looking to get picked up as a high 1st round draft pick but somehow slipped to the 2nd round. Also, in the NFL world, Aaron Rodgers finally got his move and Lamar Jackson finally got paid.
Unfortunately, the Baku GP was a bit of a snooze-fest, Emma Raducanu undergoes double hand surgery, Luca Brecel becomes the first player from mainland Europe to win the World Snooker Championships, it's Lebron vs Curry and much much more!

What's the craic, everyone the b2b Sports podcast is back!
I can't lie, it was an instant regret suggesting to record an ep with Sam after yet another Chelsea defeat, this time away to Madrid in the Champions League. Ben Chilwell's moment of madness saw Chelsea go down to 10 men, and to be fair to them, they did well to only concede one goal in the second half. Chelsea are 2-0 down going into the second leg at Stamford Bridge, surely the unthinkable can't happen, can it?
Sam breaks down a strange 2023 Masters, a tournament full of slow play, fallen trees and a long final day.
Israel Adesanya produced one of the coldest sporting celebrations of all time after his epic KO of Alex Pereira! 3 arrows fired and the snap of the bow, maaaadd!
Red Bull provided the cool story of the week, they have designed a skate park which was suspended from a hot air balloon 2000ft in the air. That BMX biker had no fear and was catching some air time, you have to check it out!

What's the craic, everyone! After a bit of a birthday break, we are back to bring you all the biggest sports stories from the past week.
To kick off the ep I pose the question, Is Chelsea having a renaissance? With 3 wins on the bounce, the feel-good factor at Chelsea is back, but for how long? Man United on the other hand has Casemiro suspended for another 4 games. Man United fans are you worried?
NFL free agency has begun and it's utter chaos! The Vikings are having a fire sale, Aaron Rodgers is teasing the New York Jets, Jalen Ramsey has joined the Dolphins and which team could land Derrick Henry?
F1 is back, and it's Red Bull's world and we're all just living in it! England gets bowled over in Bangladesh, Tyson Fury's beef with Simon Cowell and a new sporting competition to keep your eyes on?

How's it going people?
Sam and I are very excited this week as the new F1 season is nearly upon us. It's Bahrain testing over the next few days and we've decided to rank all the 2023 F1 cars from 10th all the way up to 1st place. Some teams have gone for the if it ain't broke don't fix it look, whereas others have gone for all-out change!
We had to discuss that demolition job by Real Madrid at Anfield on Tuesday night, what is up with that once-great Liverpool defence. I don't get away likely either as Chelsea's woes continue. Will Potter get the sack? On more positive news, Man United, particularly Marcus Rashford are flying! Is he the most inform player in Europe right now?
Bazball is still going strong for England's Test team as they put on another show, this time against New Zealand. 40-year-old Jimmy Anderson is named ICC's Number 1 ranked Test Bowler in the world, unbelievable.
As always the pod ends with some shockers and heroes of the week.
Are you excited about the start of the F1 season? Which car tops your rankings?

What’s the craic everyone, b2b Sports we are back!
There’s been a ton of sports drama over the past week, and we’ll try and cover it all for you over the next 50 mins or so! Take a deep breathe, get the popcorn out and let’s goooooo!
First things first, Man City are in the mud. This week they’ve been charged by the Premier League for ‘numerous’ breaches of Financial Fair Play spanning just shy of a decade between 2009 and 2018. The potential punishments are pretty severe, what do you think will happen to City?
It’s Super Bowl Sunday this weekend and we are pumped. The Kanas City Chiefs vs the Philadelphia Eagles. Patrick Mahomes vs Jalen Hurts. AFC 1 seed vs NFC 1 seed. I’ve got the Chiefs and Sam’s got the Eagles. It’s going to be a good one!
History was rewritten in the NBA has Lebron James becomes the NBA’s all time leading point scorer after surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s total of 38,387. I pose the inevitable question to Sam, who is the GOAT Michael Jordan or Lebron James.
Conor McGregor is back, Tommy Fury bails, Aaron Rodger’s is sitting in darkness for four days and Saka bounces a ball of Pickford’ as head 🤣
Enjoy the Super Bowl everyone, until next week! Peace!
Let us know, who is going to win the Super Bowl?

What's the craic everyone!
Another chaotic week of sport has flown by.
I guess we have to start the pod by addressing the fact that the Vikings were knocked out of the playoffs by the Giants :( Sam and I give an honest assessment of the game and their season. Were the 2022 Vikings, frauds? We also discuss all the other wildcard playoff games, how on Earth did the Jags win against the Chargers, the 49ers are scaryyyyy, and Sam picks a new shock Super Bowl winner!
During the pod there was live Premier League action, with Crystal Palace hosting Man United. We delve into why Man United is on top form right now, and their huge clash with Arsenal on Sunday. Chelsea finally won, and we try to wrap our heads around that Mudryk deal.
It's also Australian Open time, and it's started with a bang! (This pod was recorded before Murray pulled another madness out of the bag in Round 2.)
Could Salt Papi turn pro? And, of course much, much more!
Enjoy the weekend of sport people. Peace!

Happy New Year, it feels good to be back!
The NFL postseason is here, and I can't wait. On the other hand, Sam is still reeling from the New England Patriots being dumped out of the playoffs following their Week 18 loss to the Buffalo Bills. In this episode, we individually run through our playoff route to the Super Bowl and pick our winners. There are some serious shocks in this so stay tuned!
As we take a dive into the world of Football, we look at the disastrous past month for Chelsea Football Club and discuss our thoughts on the loan signing of João Félix. On the flip side, we debate if Man United are a dark horse for the Premier League title. Rashford is flying, big Wout has just been signed, and 4 points off City, before the Manchester Derby this weekend, exciting times for United fans.
The Australian Open starts very soon, and Djokovic is back! 'Drive to survive' style PGA Tour doc is on its way in February. Gerard Pique's, 'The Kings League', is genuinely nuts!
Enjoy the weekend of sport everyone, especially you NFL fans! Let us know who you think is going to win the Super Bowl.
