There are two kinds of desire that I can think of. One stems from the ego and has you convinced that life becomes better once you get to this or that place, or acquire this or that. In this case we desire things outside ourselves. The past or future seem more favorable than now. Now becomes a means of making our imaginable future a reality or a constant reminder of the past and how perfect it was. Our desire in this case is pegged on the past or future.
The second kind is linked to our purpose. It stems from our soul. It carries peace and stillness. It requires that we serve others in some way or another. It carries a vision that is way bigger than us. It might be so scary that it even scares us.
This second kind fills our being. It fills the void within. Each step is suddenly full of life as one realizes what they must do.
In this way, this second kind of desire, makes us realize our link to the whole. We are not environment organisms. We and the environment are one. We are connected to all that is. What we desire is an extension of us. It is part of us calling us back to ourselves.

Hurting people hurt other people.
We all go through shitty stuff and I am no different. This shitty stuff leaves us with wounds. Emotional wounds. Issue is some of us choose to be aware of these wounds and then go through the healing process. For most of us however, these wounds go unchecked and we don't even know we have them. We then become a walking disaster waiting to happen.
This podcast is meant to walk us through the journey within where we become aware of our wounds and if we choose to, then treat our wounds so that we heal.
When we heal, we are left with scars. These scars are our badge of honor. They are an indication of our strength for we have gone through the battle and the war, and come out victorious.
