Lay People have the power to change the church and make it grow of they are given the chance to work.
1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
If you do not allow lay people to work in the ministry you wil employ people to do jobs that do not occupy them fully.
The Spirit of an unsaved man is dead and desperately wicked. Becareful not to fall in the hands of an unsaved soul as a Christian.
If we don't allow lay people to work in the ministry, we are killing Christian principles like sacrifice in the church.

Serpents are wise because they are patient, you cannot have victory over your enemies if you do not learn to wait patiently for the Lord.

Labour not to be rich because riches can prevent you from taking up your cross and following Jesus. Riches can prevent you from entering the kingdom of God.
