This podcast is a production of Donna High School's Mexican American Studies Class who in 4 episodes tells the story of a train-truck collision in Alamo, Texas on March 14, 1940. The impact would eventually kill 34 farmworkers including the driver and his sons.
This Bonus episode is a "virtual" visit from Alamo Museum curator Mr. Alex Oyoque's with the Donna High School's Mexican American Studies class in which he provides his extensive knowledge of the accident to our class.
In our final episode, we look at how the accident is remembered today and provide a list of those lives lost on that tragic day.
