The Cognizant Way is a podcast series that aims to educate & discuss the idea of living a life that is Cognizant. The word Cognizant embodies the awareness, persistence, and ambition that is needed to unleash our full potential as world changers.
Tap into a new episode, speaking on grace and truth! In order for us to change the world around us we have to make sure we are speaking to others with grace and truth! We live in a society where many people don't know how to use both of these! This episode I will give you practical steps on how to extend grace and truth to others people!
I believe God is calling His people to show their actions in what they are believing him in. Many people believe God but now showing their works that they believe in Him. Faith is demonstrated by means of concrete action. Tap in to the revelation God reveals. Make sure you share this message with other people!
One of the main things all men were created to do but we see a lack of is leadership! There are three things every man needs if they are going to be a successful leader, presence purpose, and perseverance. God wants us to be obedient because when we are then heaven is brought on earth. We don't have to wait until we get to heaven to experience heaven. A Covenant is an agreement between God and his people, in which God makes promises to his people and usually requires certain conduct from them. God wants us to keep his commands so we can experience God's promises! Tap in to this new episode with a special guest!
People have to allow God to position them in places where people can listen to them. During this episode, I talk about this encounter I had with this man who was an unbeliever and how God used me in a powerful way! God positioned me to listen to what this man had to say about what his beliefs were and the man listened to what I had to say about the message of Jesus Christ! To God be the glory!
Gifts are natural abilities or talents. It is extraordinary power given by the Holy Spirit. The gifts God has given you are meant to bring Him glory. Many people are using their gifts for their selfish ambitions. The world would be a better place if we used our gifts to build up the kingdom of God and bring His name glory all over the earth!
Identity is something many people are struggling with now today. Especially with athletes. Many people don't know who they are in Christ Jesus. Our identity comes from Jesus Christ. It doesn't come anywhere else! Tap into the conversation with our guest Kingston Davis!
Romans 12:1 says " Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and pleasing to God- this is your true and proper worship".

As we end the year of 2023, we have to not bring our regret of our past into the future in 2024. Regret means a disappointment over something that has happened or been done, especially a lost or missed opportunity. We all have been abandoned in our lives and some of us still struggle today with it. Abandonment means to desert someone, to leave and never return. We have all had people in our lives who have never come back, people have forsaking us. This issue has affected how we love each other and it has made us not be vulnerable with one another because we don't want to feel the pain of being abandon. The bible says, "even if my father and mother abandon me, the lord will hold close to me"- Psalm 27:10. Jesus understands the pain of our abandonment and He wants us to give our abandonment issues to Him. When God calls us to do something it will sometimes feel scary but all God wants is our yes. The season has come when God will ask us to step out of our comfort zone and do the impossible! Sometimes God will not reveal His entire plan for our lives but only bits & pieces because He wants us to have faith. The enemy is after people knowledge of who God is and many people have deserted the faith. People have decided to go their own way, seeking the wisdom and knowledge of this wicked world. I have realize that your purpose is not in the things we have or the things we do but our purpose is in the word of God! God's spirit is searching to give knowledge and understanding to those who take the time to seek Him. If we do this, I believe God will give us our dreams and goals to chase after, changing the world in a powerful way!
God is the true vine and we are the branches and apart from Him we cannot produce much fruit. Many people go through their lives not being connected to God and they never end up reaching their full potential as a world changer! As cognizant individuals, we have to be connected to the vine which is Jesus Christ, if we want to produce great fruit. If we remain in Him, He will remain in us, meaning we will be able to accomplish our goals and dreams on this earth!
I believe we are stepping into a season where God is calling us higher in leadership! It is time to take our leadership seriously because God is ready to pour out His spirit on His people but we have to be prepared. Keldrick Brown gives us some insight on his leadership and how we need to become better leaders in our lives.
God is wanting His people to throw off their old nature and put on the nature in Christ Jesus! We were not born to live in our flesh but live in the spirit. God is ready to perform miracles before us but we have to make sure we are putting on the full armor of God!
Are you going to fulfill your purpose for today? Purpose is operating in the gifts God has given you and using them to glorify Him. When you fulfill your purpose everyday you start to become who God created you to be! Each day is an opportunity to get one step closer to being who God created you to be!
Everything we have prayed for is already done in our lives and God is wanting us to believe and act like it. This requires us to believe and have faith because in order for us to see the promises God has for our lives we have to believe it is already done! No more not acting like things are not done. God is shifting our faith and it is time to shift. The next 6 months of 2023 will be phenomenal and God is about to do what He promised in those peoplepeople's liveslives if they believe!
As Cognizant individuals, we have to understand that God has graced us for the journey that we go through. Great people have great journeys they go through and they appreciate what they have been through because it has produced in them something that only the journey can produce. Before the foundations of the world, God already knew what you were going to face in your life. I want to encourage you that no matter what you face the God of the universe is with you!
In order to be great and do the things God has prepared for us we have to answer the call He has on our lives. Many people today are fighting against the call of God over their lives. God is calling His chosen people to do His will and He wants you to accept the call and stop running. God's purpose will prevail and we have to believe that God has great plans for us if we trust Him!
God is wanting His kingdom to reign here on earth. I believe God is looking for people who are WILLING to step into their purpose and expand His kingdom. The enemy is fighting so hard for individuals to not see the kingdom of God because he knows that his time is up. The enemy has already been judged before the foundations of the world were created. This is why he is trying to bring as many people as possible with him. God told me that the ones who are His disciples will experience His kingdom! My question to you is are you His disciple?
As cognizant individuals, we are called to be set apart for the world to see God's glory through us. We have to live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ Jesus! As we pursue our goals and dreams, we have to make sure we get rid of all sorts of evil because evil is what's going to stop us from seeing the promises of God! It is hard to be different from the crowd we are around but The Holy Spirit will strengthen us to stand out and be who He has called us to be!
As cognizant people, we have to be aware that God is working on our development and He will hold things back for us so we can be able to grow. It sometimes is frustrating because we want things to come on our own time but God allows things not to be on our own time because He wants to see if we actually trust Him like we say we do. Growth is key to reaching the best version God wants us to be and when we are our best versions then we are able to change the world!
The enemy is going to send all he got because he doesn’t want you to win! When you are close to the promises of God, expect some attacks to come your way. Take heart! God has already won the victory and you will come out on top no matter what the enemy throws! Believe in the power of God and watch Him prove himself faithful!
Sober minded means in the Bible living with a single- minded focus. God wants His people to have a clear head and to be focus Him. The enemy wants us to be distracted in this hour and wants us to miss out on what God is doing right now. When we are sober-minded, then we start to see miracles, signs, and wonders!
As cognizant individuals, God allows things to come to us because He wants to grow us so we will become who He created us to be! The process is meant to make you stronger and better. It is never meant to take you out. This is what many people are not aware of which is stopping them from reaching their destiny. Many trials will come and when they do, we have to know that it is producing in us the best version of ourselves. "Consider it pure joy, my brother and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" (James 1:2).
Character is mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. Character is who we are because of our relationship with Christ. If you don't have good character at the level you are at then how are you going to handle the next level God has for you? God is looking at your character right now and it is important that when trials and tribulation come that we will pass the test! " Don't be misled, bad company corrupts good character" 1 Corinthians 15:33.
Forgiveness is something many people are struggling with in today's culture and it is hindering people from God blessing them. The bible says " for if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you"-Matthew 6:14. The enemy doesn't want us to forgive and he wants us to hold onto offense and get us to focus on the wrong things. God wants you to be quick to forgive because when you do, you will experience the life He intended for you!
As we press towards our goals and dreams there will always be temptations trying to get in our way of being great. As cognizant people, when temptation comes knocking at our door, we need to not have a conversation with it but we need to run to our Lord & savior Jesus Christ to save us from temptations. I have learned in our own strength we are not able to win against temptation but with Jesus as our help we can overcome the desires and temptations of this world!
God wants his people to cry out to him in this or because there have been some things we can not break loose from by ourselves. Sometimes, if you want to go to the next level, you will have to let go of some things that you have been carrying. Crying out to God will help you let go of those things that have been weighing you down, holding you back from who God has called you to be.

God wants to sanctify His people everyday. It is not easy to allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in all areas of your life because your flesh wants to do the opposite of what the spirit wants. People are not reaching their goals and dreams because they are not removing the stones in their lives. In order for God glory to show through our lives we have to remove the stone away for Him to call out the things that are on the inside of us. Many people are close to the promises of God. The enemy has brought many distractions to other individuals, causing them to not believe in the plans of God.
