Eric Sheninger offers a fresh perspective on education and learning. Eric, author of Disruptive Thinking in Our Classrooms, provides insight and perspective to really get back to teaching to the student rather than teaching at the student. His profound ideas challenge the status quo and encourage us to reimagine education for the benefit of our students.

Often times our initial instinct might be to give our kids the answer right away. We try to find what we need to teach them and think that is all we need to do. Just teach them information and do some activities.

But education needs to go beyond that. Instead of just teaching our kids information on facts - which is also important and necessary - we need to teach them how to think.

In this episode, I go over the benefits of teaching our children how to think and steps you can take to encourage your child how to think.
