The Post Office Scandal saw 700 sub-postmasters prosecuted from 1999 to 2015, with some going to prison. The issue was actually the result of faulty software in the Post Office's centralised computer accounting system, called Horizon, which wrongly made it look like money was missing from a number of branches.
Hundreds of Sub- Postmasters were wrongly convicted of stealing after the defective Horizon accounting system, developed by Fujitsu’s ICL business, made it appear as though money was missing at their branches.
The Post Office also forced at least 4,000 branch managers to pay back cash based on the flawed data.
Onkar Sandhu gives his story of the shocking treatment he and his family suffered and questions what happens next?

Jazzy B, ‘The Crown Prince of Bhangra’, has had an incredible career to date and is one of the few genuine Punjabi singers to have conquered the world. Whilst his debut in 1993 with “Ghugian Da Jorra” a reminder of one of the key moments of musical collision in UK Bhangra history, Jazzy B’s bespoke persona, trendsetting hair styles and raw Punjabi approach, still strikes a balance between the folk music of the greats like Ustaad Kuldip Manak to the contemporary thrills of a modern-day Punjabi party track.
The new album, “Born Ready” celebrates 30 Years in the industry and leans heavily on the signature sound of Dr Zeus.

The Bhandwagon Podcast - Shin DCS #69
Very few Bhangra singers can say that they have survived the test of time, however Shin DCS has been representing bhangra worldwide for nearly 40 years!
Shin, is the lead singer for DCS which is a Bhangra band that was formed in 1983. DCS has been shaking the Bhanga industry and the world’s Asian population ever since. They have a remarkable, innovative ability to adapt to changing trends. They also play a major part in creating trends and being a role model for up and coming bands.
They were the first band to utilise the modern creative sounds of the synthesizers in the production of the late 80’s Bhangra. This influenced all the Bhangra bands in the competitive market to change their style of music. The entrepreneurial strategies of DCS have become the main trend to follow.

A newly published book highlights the rich military history of the Sikhs. Readers are taken through a journey of over 200 years through anecdotes and important events. The small community from the Panjab overcame tremendous odds to become a pivotal military force which conquered Northern India eventually leading to a Sikh Empire. In this deeply-researched book, Mann uses rare anecdotes to provide recognition of early descriptions from administrators, writers and illustrators who depicted the history of the Sikhs and the land of the Panjab.

In this episode, Desi Dark Child gives us an insight into his musical journey, social media, opinions on the music scene, touring with Kuldip Manak & future projects
Desi Dark Child, is the culmination of decades of hard work to produce music which captivates and epitomizes the true essence and roots of real Punjabi music. DDC succeeds in taking a fresh approach by blending 80’s Hip Hop with a crossover of American urban/dance with new Punjabi lyrical styles.
Desi Dark Child (aka Ranjit Jassal) is rarely discussed as a producer, since our vision of him is entrenched in the image of a live performer who has toured all over Europe playing live to audiences of over 250,000. He has also collaborated with Kendal Smith, Mahon Mastana, Surinder Shinda, Kuldip Manak, Mohamed Sadiqe, Sukhwinder Panchi, Sucha Rangeela Rashpal, Moni Rasila, Achanak, Ranjeet Kaur, Parwanna Sangeet, Silinder Pardesi and Taz from Stereo Nation.
