Pastor Sharpe continues his Message and a Movie series with Coming to America. He correlates Jesus to Prince Hakeem coming to earth as a regular man to find those who love him for him and not who he is. This teaches us to excel in our identity, embrace humility, and endure adversity.
Happy Mothers Day Fellowship family. Pastor Sharpe begins a new series entitled Message and Movie. He uses the movie Cruella to open a conversation about mothers who struggle to raise their children. He discusses the effects of intergenerational trauma and offers some remedies to help those still struggling.
Elder Vasser reminds us that tough times don't last; tough people do. Remember, God can do anything. To make it to your destination, you will experience some turbulence. You can't escape the process, and you have to go through it. Depend on God for your deliverance. God can do anything. There is nothing too hard for God.
Pastor Pope encourages us to don't stop believing. How, you ask? You must remain present, recognize God's prudence, and rejoice in God's proof.
Pastor Sharpe gives us some residue from resurrection week. Although easter has passed, some residue should be in our lives. The resurrection of Jesus widens the gap between what was and what is. Just as Christ was dead, but is now risen, what you are matters more than what you were. The resurrection shows how God can transform a dead-end into a boulevard of liveliness. What looks like the end, God can transform into a new beginning. The resurrection reminds us to embrace what Jesus has already told us. God is a promise keeper. Remember that when you are in difficult situations.
Happy Easter Fellowship family. Pastor Sharpe illustrates how God works in the dark, using the resurrection of Jesus as an example. The resurrection shows how God will disrupt things in the dark, changing the enemy's plans for your life. God will cause emancipation in the dark, setting us free from bondage. Finally, the resurrection illustrates how we can bounce back just when it seems we won't make it out of something.
Pastor Johnson uses the scriptures to illustrate God's plan for our lives. We must first be grateful that God wants to use us for his plan. We must also operate with a spirit of cooperation because God's plan is sometimes too big for us to do by ourselves. While we are executing God's plan, we must focus on the plan and not be distracted by the crowds. The plan can involve us getting to the right place, geographically, spiritually, emotionally, etc. We must stay humble and use what God provides to escort us to our purpose. The plan can sometimes be painful, but we must not let our pain limit our praise because God is worthy of praise even before he fulfills the plan.
Pastor Sharpe closes his sermon on The Beatitudes by showing how they teach us to be happy with God. We must be meek, merciful, pure in heart, and a peacemaker to experience true happiness. While walking this path, we will be persecuted for being righteous, and people will even spread false things about us. These are signs you will see while on the path. The pursuit of happiness will require our reimagination and the knowledge that it is both a realization and a destination. Happiness can thrive in the midst of confrontation, and finally, happiness emerges from our expectations.
Pastor Sharpe uses the Beatitudes to teach us how to be happy with ourselves. First, we are to be poor in spirit, meaning we have humility and know that we need each other. Second, we must have the capacity to mourn, meaning, since we have experienced real love, we mourn because that love still comes out after we lose someone. Lastly, we should be meek, meaning those in positions of authority have to exercise meekness and not become too full of themselves.

Pastor Sharpe advises us to sit with our perplexities, savor our possibilities, and remember God's proclivities (historical tendencies).
Pastor Sharpe delivers a tribute to Claudette Colvin. She was a 15-year old who refused to give up her bus seat to a white person nine months before Rosa Parks. Although she defied the law before Rosa Parks, the movement leaders decided she didn't fit their criteria to be the face of the bus boycott. Pastor Sharpe also honors other forgotten names or hidden figures throughout history. He gives us two things to do when our names are forgotten. Don't repeat the sins of patriarchy, and don't let recognition be your priority.

God puts us in uncomfortable situations because the risk is synonymous with faith, and if it is safe, it is not from God. The pain we endure enrages and prepares your imagination to push you forward in life.

He honors the lives of Cheslie Kryst, Jeffrey Parker, Ian Alexander Jr., Mayor Kevin Ward, and numerous young people who committed suicide because of bullying. He sums up the pressures of achievement as Crown Culture, and we can combat Crown Culture by accepting people no matter how they show up. Pastor Sharpe also interviews Minister Devona Alleyne LPC to offer more advice on the subject.
Pastor Sharpe celebrates the woman of the movement during black history month. Specifically, Mamey Till Mobley and Pharaohs appointed midwives. These women showed defiance against a system of oppression, deference (respect) for GOD, and made a difference in society.
Rev. Fluker continues the year of F.U.N by partying with a purpose. The first miracle performed by Jesus took place at a wedding he attended with five disciples and his mother. This miracle supported having fun, and it came by faith through unity and met a need to reveal the glory of GOD. This event was more than just a party; it was in divine order as a party with a purpose.
In this year of F.U.N, Pastor Sharpe encourages us to re-examine our togetherness, our thankfulness, and our thoughts. These actions will allow us to have fun and create it when necessary.
2022 is the year of F.U.N. The Bible tells us to rejoice in the Lord always. If we celebrate, concentrate, and communicate in the spirit of F.U.N, we can experience this joy despite the world's many troubles.

Our faith must also be purified. Our burdens also prune us to cut off things that are not producing fruit. Those cuts create new growth opportunities and situations. Our burdens also prepare us to experience victory the way our savior Jesus Christ did. Those afflictions bring out the power of GOD in our lives because he delivers us from them all.

Clay Evans Chapel located in the Rainbow Push Coalition headquarters. He uses Esther 2:7 & The Throne ft. Frank Ocean's song "Made in America" to teach us how to make it in America. We learn from those who came before us, and made it, despite being in various regimes with systems designed against them making it. They taught us that we have to know our identities, embrace our communities and remember there is always divinity.
