Thousands of people, like myself, migrate to a new country for many different reasons. No matter the reason, whether for work, education or family related, we all share similar experiences as it relates to adjusting to life in our new country of residence. My name is Kemar, and I am an immigrant. On my podcast, I will be discussing as well as having conversations with other immigrants about our unique experiences moving to a new country and the ways that we were able to overcome some of the difficulties we were presented with. Whenever we migrate, often times our friends and family back home tend to be under the impression that life in the US is a bed of roses. It is a common misconception by people this "fairytale" view has only grown with the presence of social media. However, I know that behind every breath taking IG post is a story. There is a story which is a product a lot of hard work, multiple jobs, loss of sleep and physical and mental exhaustion. In this episode I share some of my personal work experiences and also express the importance of having a goal for each job that you have. Enjoy!
