For over 25 years, Lincoln Mali has been a notable leader in the Banking and Fintech space.A highly-regarded speaker, his core expertise lies in Leadership, People Management, Strategy, Culture, Customer Experience and Business Performance. Lincoln has addressed many local and international conference audiences and was the class speaker at his AMP graduation at Harvard Business School in 2013.
Enormously passionate about leadership and people development, Lincoln spends much of his spare time mentoring and developing young leaders.
He was a pathfinder and palpable presence at Standard Bank, where he can be credited with major contributions to development of the banking sphere across the African Continent. Until April 2021, he was the Head of Group Card and Payments at Standard Bank Group, having served in many different roles within that organisation since 2001.
Lincoln has been a board member in a number of organisations including being the Chairman of the board of Diners Club South Africa and a member of the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Business Council for Visa.
Lincoln joined Lesaka Technologies Inc.(formally Net1 U.E.P.S. Technologies Inc.) in May 2021 as Chief Executive Officer, Southern Africa where he is also a member of the board of directors.
He has an impressive academic record where he holds various qualifications including Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from the University of Rhodes and an MBA from Henley Business School. He has also attended various advanced management programmes in South Africa and internationally including programmes at Duke, INSEAD, Thunderbird, MIT and Harvard university. He was proudly recognised for his leadership role and achievements by his alma mater, Rhodes University, when he became the recipient of the Distinguished Old Rhodian Award in 2015.
Lincoln is also a prolific writer and maintains a blog – ‘Conversations with Lincoln’ – where he shares his thoughts about topics he is passionate about, including Leadership, Ethics, Transformation and Social Change.
In 2022, Lincoln published his best-selling book, ‘Blazing a Trail: Lessons for African Leadership’. Proceeds from the sale of the book go towards the initiatives of the Lincoln Mali Leadership Foundation (a not-for-profit focussing on school sports development in townships and rural areas, feeding schemes in informal settlements, bursaries, mentorship, leadership, and youth development).

Having seen the need for sanitary products, particularly for young girls, Babalwa Mbuku (40) from Mthatha started her own sanitary pads company, Ntombam, in 2017. She was inspired by a young girl who once said she preferred to get free sanitary pads from government instead of a free education.
Babalwa then decided to do her research in the Eastern Cape to assess how many schools and children have the same problem. “I discovered that around the Eastern Cape some children use pieces of cloth, aloe and others would use cow dung as sanitary pads to absorb the flow of their monthly menstruation due to high sanitary costs. None of those methods are good for sensitive areas,” she says.
With almost 20 years-experience as a banker in the industry, Lincoln was part of the
Standard Bank Group as the Head of Group Card and Emerging Payments. This role was geographically spread across 17 countries on the continent, he was also responsible for facilitating payments between Africa and China. In his later years being a banker, Lincoln has acquired vast experience working on the continent as in his former role he was the Regional
Head for the Western Region in Africa; managing the Standard Bank Group Personal and Business Banking franchises in Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria and Namibia. Lincoln is currently the Director & CEO of Net1 Southern Africa at Lesaka Technologies Inc. Lesaka Technologies Inc is a South African-focused financial technology company with a presence in Africa and Asia.
Mmusi Aloysias Maimane is a South African politician, businessman, and Leader of Build One South Africa, a political party. Maimane is also the former Leader of South Africa's opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) political party from 10 May 2015 to 23 October 2019, and the former Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly of South Africa from 29 May 2014 to 24 October 2019.
He is the former leader of the DA in the Johannesburg City Council and the DA National Spokesperson. In 2011, he was elected to be the DA's Johannesburg mayoral candidate in the 2011 municipal elections. In that election, Maimane helped to grow the party's voter base, but was not elected mayor. Thereafter he served as Leader of the Official Opposition on the Johannesburg City Council until May 2014. In addition to his political career, he is also a pastor and elder at Liberty Church.He formed the One South Africa Movement in 2020. Mmusi Maimane launched this new political party on 24 September 2022
He founded Imbizo events group and is also a Founder & Executive Chairperson at ICT Summit based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. Previously, Motse has served as a Board Member at Nelson Mandela Bay Development Agency where he had to quit in the last few days before he was to be elected chairman. He has played a huge role in uplifting the local television division called Mpuma-Kapa. Also, as founder of Mfuleni &Friends, he said growing up in Zwide township, with little resources had informed his decision to team up with influential friends and help others access information in hopes of growing a new group of entrepreneurs.
Mlibo Qoboshiyane is the deputy speaker in the Eastern Cape Provincial legislature and the former MEC of agriculture. He has great influence in the ANC across many regions of the Eastern Cape and was recently nominated to be the provincial chairperson of the ANC in the eastern Cape.
Nosi boasts qualifications in Public Management and Administration and Business Administration, and is completing her Masters in Business Administration.
Nosi is an Entrepreneur, a Conference speaker and a Motivational speaker who is passionate about Youth and Women Development. She is a shareholder of Ncoyo Properties, a property investment company she runs with her husband.
She and her husband are founders of Ncoyo Family Foundation, an organisation with a mission to assist in education and empowerment of vulnerable children and Youth.
