In the Chinese language, a problem is also often perceived as a question, a unique linguistic aspect that intricately mirrors the culture's problem-solving approach. The Chinese term for problem, "wèntí" (问题), literally translates to "ask" (问) and "topic" (题), indicating a question to be asked or a topic to be discussed. This underscores a cultural perspective where problems are not seen as insurmountable obstacles, but rather as questions that invite exploration, discussion, and collective resolution. This linguistic detail subtly encapsulates the Chinese emphasis on group problem-solving and a deep-seated cultural tradition of seeking understanding through inquiry. The Chinese language thereby demonstrates the power of linguistics in shaping and reflecting cultural attitudes towards problem-solving.
The term “wenti” in general refers to a “question” or a “Problem”, and could be used to describe any unresolved situations.
Chinese would use the term “kun-nan 困难” or “ma-fan 麻烦” which refers more specifically to “problem” or “trouble” or “difficult, difficulty” , in describing recognized crucial situations that need to be addressed to .

In this essay I will argue that empires are the result of one group of people having a superior technology, organization, or ability and then “conquering” others. However, as others on the fringes, and within the empires, learn those technologies and catch up, the empire loses its power and influence.
It might sound simple and “obvious” but it has huge implications.
1) It means the empires may have a natural time limit and follow their own arc, if left to their natural accord
2) It means that there is a huge importance of learning, improving, innovating
3) We need to be, not just open to, but actively seeking out, change and improvements. Such as:

– They are able to carrying out micro-experiments, or MVPs on smaller scale areas,

It seems such a waste of human life, and suffering and so unnecessary. There must be another way.
Is war inevitable?
Are humans warlike? Groups of people can happily live together without widespread violence erupting. Violence does happen by individuals in a society, but peace is then enforced by the state.
In the international system, there is no more powerful force overriding force to enforce peace. It is enforced by whoever is the strongest and has the most power. This can lead to the breakdown of diplomatic relations and the resort to force as a means of resolving disputes.

While I do believe that alcohol has positive effects and has had a largely positive impact on society, I personally do not feel a need for those positive effects. I am happy to unwind and be social in my own way without the use of alcohol.
In fact, I value the feeling of being fully conscious and aware. I don't have any desire to numb my senses or my experience of life. I enjoy being fully present and engaged with the people and events around me, and I don't need alcohol to achieve that state.
Another reason I choose not to drink is that I never want to experience a hangover. To me, the feeling of being hungover is like wasting time. I hate waking up the next day not feeling great but having big dreams and goals to achieve. Even having a small amount of alcohol has a small effect on me, and I'd rather not take that risk.
In addition, I want to achieve more in my life and be more productive. Drinking alcohol can sometimes get in the way of those goals, and I'd rather not take any chances with my time and my potential.
Finally, I've been inspired by other successful people who have chosen to stop drinking, Jim Carrey, Donald Trump (whatever your political views, he has achieved a lot, Rhishi Sunak, Daniel Radcliffe, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Ovens and many more). I've seen how their lives have improved, and I feel better, inspired, and motivated to follow in their footsteps. Overall, I don't believe that alcohol is necessary to have a good time or to be successful in life. I'm happy with my choice not to drink and the benefits it brings to my life.

Young adults are choosing not to have a family, or to delay having a family, because it is too expensive – they are not able to afford the costs to start a family – housing, education costs. Also the opportunity cost to give up earnings and “sacrifice” a career. Many are choosing a career.
The problem exists in all developed countries – UK, USA, and it would be even more obvious if it wasn’t for immigration, but immigration is not a solution because it doesn’t address the root problem – young people choosing not to have children.
This can cause enormous economic problems for the future.
If there are less young people, and a shrinking population, the economy will contract, and there will be an even greater burden on young people, who will have even less children, it is a vicious cycle.

Teachers could use these tools to help students learn and give feedback as they write, and help with marking. Benjamin Franklin FRS FRSA FRSE was an American polymath who was active as a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher, and political philosopher.

Your overall mood will be better when you start and finish the day in a clean, clutter-free environment. This will result in lower stress levels, improved focus, and better sleep quality.
1. You will know what resources you have
Do you find yourself looking everywhere for your matching bracelet or clothes when going for a party or out with friends? Or does it happen that you buy a pair of pants, only to find out later that you had a better one to match the shirt you were wearing to the event? Keeping your bedroom tidy will let you know what things you have – the shoes, clothes, jewelry, books, magazines, and stationary – that are among your belongings so that you don’t have to rummage for them everywhere or go and buy new things when you already have better alternatives.
2. Your thoughts will also be tidied up
Tidying your place also tidies up your mind. It is suggested by psychologists that a messy room is a representation of a disorganized mental state. When one is tidy and organized it also builds into their life, helping them in everything.
As Marie Kondo states in The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, “From the moment you start tidying, you will be compelled to reset your life. As a result, your life will start to change.” So, if you want to bring a change to your life, go ahead with cleaning and organizing your space and start a tidying marathon.
3. Tidying your room can save you time
Tidying your room and organizing your space not only lets you know about the stuff that you have, but it can also save you a lot of time, since you will know where to find something when you need it. Now, when you wake up early in the morning, you don’t have to search frantically as minutes tick by for your special pair of shoes, your watch, or the blouse that you really wanted to wear. The start of your day will be a smooth one instead, and you will be able to make it out of the door to your work or college on time.
4. You will be more social
Would you like your friend to see your messy room? I would probably be too embarrassed if my friend came over and got to look at my room in a messy state. When you are ashamed of the state of your bedroom, it is less likelihood that you invite anyone over. On the other hand, when your house is clean, you are ready for company and are also more likely to invite or welcome someone over on the spur of the moment. Tidying your room helps in preventing the creation of a boundary around you; therefore, you will become more social.
5. Your health will improve
Tidying your room also bring with itself some health benefits. When your bedroom becomes a peaceful and ordered place with no clutter around, you will feel less stressed and less distracted. This means you can spend some relaxing time before bed and go to sleep calmly. From studies, it has been found that those who have cluttered bedrooms full of their hoardings take a long time to fall asleep and their sleep quality is also poor enough that it leads an increase chance of depression and stress. It’s clear enough. Tidying your room will have a positive effect on your health and the thought of going to the bedroom would be a pleasant and calming one. Not just this, but a tidy room will no more be home to bacteria and viruses that can compromise your health.

What's it like studying in Peking University?
Here I talk about my experience studying in the No.1 university in China!
Peking University was established as the Imperial University of Peking in 1898 when it received its royal charter by the Guangxu Emperor. A successor of the older Guozijian Imperial College, the university's romanized name 'Peking' retains the older transliteration of 'Beijing' that has been superseded in most other contexts.[5] Perennially ranked as one of the top academic institutions in China and the world;[6] as of 2021 Peking University was ranked 16th globally and 1st in the Asia-Pacific & emerging countries by Times Higher Education, while as of 2022 it was ranked 12th globally and 1st in Asia by QS University Rankings.
I had an amazing experience studying in #PekingUniversity. I only expected to come to #studyinchina for 6 months, and it was life changing and here I am having created a company in Beijing.

What is speed reading?
Speed reading is any of many techniques claiming to improve one's ability to read quickly. Speed-reading methods include chunking and minimizing subvocalization. The many available speed-reading training programs may utilize books, videos, software, and seminars.
The two main ways are by changing reading technique and trying some of these reading tricks. Also being clear about why you are reading, and skimming the book. The challenge is to read fast and keep comprehension. For this reason it's also important to improve comprehension speed, note taking and knowing what to focus on., eg., the first line of each paragraph, and first and last paragraph of each chapter.

The social media landscape is also changing fast. As the market matures, they are also becoming more competitive, each trying to beat each other for market share. What this means is that each platform copies each other, so the platforms become more and more similar. We have seen this with the like button, the newsfeed, stories (snapchat), and short videos (from tiktok). It's also important to consider what these platforms want - they want to beat the others, and they want to have the best content on their platform.
There is a growing trend in marketing which is influencer marketing, and this is one of the most affordable and effective ways that universities can do marketing.
Personalities on these platforms who create engaging content and develop their own brands. Influencers and individuals are promoted by the social media companies because they help boost engagement and help grow the social media platforms. Advertising which takes users away from the platforms and don't add value are becoming more expensive.

The dictionary defines automation as “the technique of making an apparatus, a process, or a system operate automatically.” We define automation as "the creation and application of technology to monitor and control the production and delivery of products and services.”
Earnings-driven automation can be used to mitigate inflation. It can also be a response to an economic downturn, alleviate talent shortages, and improve operating margins and productivity
Wage inflation is occurring across the western world. At the end of 2021, wage inflation in the UK topped out at 5 percent. The Bank of England's Andrew Bailey suggested that employees should temper their demands for pay raises, and issued a follow-up to firms, requesting they "show restraint" when raising prices. Easier said than done.
Worries that inflation will continue to get worse into 2022 are far from eased by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which, as this article goes to press, has already sent oil prices to an eight-year high.
In the professional and legal services industry, where many organizations I work with have expressed their concerns about spiraling inflation, there's a secondary problem: the battle for talent. Highly skilled professions are seeing the cost of talent increase considerably. For example, city and regional law firms in the UK—who, before the pandemic, were already struggling to compete with US law firms offering higher starting salaries and bigger bonuses—are now having to compete with the likes of Skadden offering newly-qualified employees salaries of £157,000.
With all this going on, what should firms in regulated and competitive industries do? There's no easy answer, but there are immutable principles of business survival. And, when economic pressures coincide with labor shortages, firms need to pay closer attention to those principles.

The United Nations projects that global population will reach 9.7 billion people in 2050, and population growth almost coming to an end at 10.8 billion in 2100.
By 2100, the world's population is projected to reach approximately 10.9 billion, with annual growth of less than 0.1% – a steep decline from the current rate. Between 1950 and today, the world's population grew between 1% and 2% each year, with the number of people rising from 2.5 billion to more than 7.7 billion.
With widespread, sustained declines in fertility, the world population will likely peak in 2064 at around 9.7 billion, and then decline to about 8.8 billion by 2100 -- about 2 billion lower than some previous estimates, according to a new study.
Most of the growth will happen In Africa:
The rapid population growth is the result of declining mortality since the 1950s unmatched by changes in fertility. There are significant socioeconomic and rural-urban mortality differentials in Africa, but as yet only highly educated urbanites have measurably reduced their family size.

Korean has the most advanced writing system. You can read and write Korean in about 2 hours if you have the focus and a good teacher. It’s the most effective writing system you can ever learn, and you can use it phonetically to write your own secret diary, as da Vinci had his deep thoughts written in his secret diary in mirror images.
Arabic is usually considered one of the most difficult languages to learn, topped by only a few languages like Japanese in terms of difficulty. Plus, it's even harder (or so they say) if you are a native speaker of English or a romance language.
Unsurprisingly Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean come out as the hardest, requiring almost 2 years to learn. In the past I've tried my hand at the latter three, finding all extremely challenging although the Korean alphabet (Hangul) is far easier to learn than Chinese characters.

Computers use binary – The binary system, is a base-2 number system. That means it only uses two numbers: 0 and 1. When you add one to one, you move the 1 one spot to the left into the twos place and put a 0 in the ones place: 10.
The human body also has code. DNA. DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. DNA is the source code for humans, and life. How to build components and operate processes, just like a computer.
Unlike binary systems, and bits (binary digits). DNA can be one of four values, and is therefore a what is similar in quantum computers as a qubit. DNA is a long polymer made from repeating units called nucleotides, each of which is usually symbolized by a single letter: either A, T, C, or G. Each nucleotide is composed of one of four nitrogen-containing nucleobases (cytosine [C], guanine [G], adenine [A] or thymine [T]), a sugar called deoxyribose, and a phosphate group.
A qubit is a quantum bit, the counterpart in quantum computing to the binary digit or bit of classical computing. Just as a bit is the basic unit of information in a classical computer, a qubit is the basic unit of information in a quantum computer.

Can students enter China? Currently, we categorize the Chinese border as partially open. More international students from around the world have been given permission to return to China from their universities/PRC embassies. Many students on an X1 visa have already been contacted by their universities, or will be contacted in the following weeks. In addition to the embassies that have already opened student X1 visa applications, we expect all PRC embassies to open their student visa services again in a gradual and coordinated manner. An exact timeline or date is unknown at this stage.

What is it about?
Life is a struggle for single father Chris Gardner (Will Smith). Evicted from their apartment, he and his young son (Jaden Christopher Syre Smith) find themselves alone with no place to go. Even though Chris eventually lands a job as an intern at a prestigious brokerage firm, the position pays no money. The pair must live in shelters and endure many hardships, but Chris refuses to give in to despair as he struggles to create a better life for himself and his son.
It is based on Gardner's nearly one-year struggle being homeless. The unusual spelling of the film's title comes from a mural that Gardner sees on the wall outside the daycare facility his son attended.
It ends with a couple of title cards revealing the happy fate of its protagonist, Chris Gardner. He went on to earn a great fortune and build his own brokerage. He certainly deserved to after all the hard work he put in and everything he suffered along the way.
The definition of commitment is:
1) the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.

2) an engagement or obligation that restricts freedom of action.
In order to be committed, you need to say no to other things. It's about choosing what you want, and at the same time, what you don't want. Deciding and making a decision. Not keeping your options open.
Committed people constantly make new goals and are always striving to push their boundaries and achieve more. People who are committed work hard out of habit and out of loyalty. They have a unique endurance that allows them to physically keep going because they are mentally wired to work endlessly toward their dreams.

Dwayne Johnson’ The Rock’, born in Hayward, California, is best remembered for his wrestling career and his title ‘The Rock’. During his time, The Rock is known as one of the greatest and most popular WWE wrestlers. Things were never easy for Dwayne, and he established his name’s worth by winning seven consecutive WWE championships.
Off the Screen
Johnson had shared some of his early-life struggles, including his family’s eviction from their Hawaii home when he was just 14. He told the UK publication The Express that his mom tried to commit suicide by walking into traffic the following year, an event that left him battling depression.
Football Career
In 1991, Dwayne was also chosen for the Miami Hurricanes National Championship team. Sadly, he met with a severe accident and was severely injured during the match. He then chose to stay away from any more events because of his injury and was finally replaced by Warren Sapp.
Dwayne then entered the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in 1995. This year, he continued wrestling as a career option like his other family members. His expert wrestling training commenced hereafter.
Wrestling CareerWith the sequence name of his grandfather’s and father’s ring names, Johnson made his WWE debut as Rocky Maivia. He was also given the nickname “The Blue Chipper “. Dwayne won several matches and championships against his fellow wrestlers, some of whom were as leading as The Brooklyn Brawler, Triple H, etc.
However, his work as a wrestler was not the smoothest one in his life. He faced many difficulties and got into feuds with some of the most famous names of the wrestling world, such as The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Rikishi, John Cena, and Vince. Some of his companions even said that he had a critical problem with people and often hurt the viewers during his matches.
Dwayne suffered a critical knee injury and another intestinal injury when tendons were torn from his pelvis. He even lost some of the events after being injured. Dwayne never gave up on these difficulties. He proved utterly that hard work and fate always pay off. The Rock then won seven following WWF Championships and created a record.

Jordan Bernt Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist, YouTube personality, author, and a professor emeritus at the University of Toronto. He began to receive widespread attention as a public intellectual in the late 2010s for his views on cultural and political issues, often described as conservative.
The area that draws him the most attention–good and bad–is his view of masculinity. Peterson believes society is quickly tumbling into chaos, and one of the primary reasons for our descent is because “The West has Lost Faith in Masculinity.” The result has been nothing short of a crisis—for men and women alike.
He has no patience for modern-day critiques of masculinity as oppressive or toxic. In fact, he blames that way of thinking for much of our cultural problems today.
The “divine symbol of masculinity has been obliterated”–leaving men with no ideal to aspire to. As a result, boys are confused and discouraged about what they’re supposed to do or become, and it’s hurting them in every conceivable way. Whether it’s drug use, graduation rates, behavioral problems, or suicidal tendencies, boys are doing worse than girls across the board.
Convinced “a stable society needs masculine men,” Peterson is on a mission to restore dignity to the very idea of manhood. Jim Carrey , in full James Eugene Carrey, (born January 17, 1962, New Market, Ontario, Canada), Canadian American comedian who established himself as a leading comedic actor with a series of over-the-top performances and who won plaudits for his more-serious portrayals as his career progressed.
While living in America, he struggled to make money during the first few years and almost gave up. In an interview, Carrey states that he would drive to the top of Mulholland Drive in LA every night, and visualize what he wanted for himself as an actor. Randy Pausch was never a particularly religious man, and when they diagnosed his final cancer, he joked that his only "death-bed conversion" would be to exchange his PC for a new Apple Mac. Yet the computer science professor realised an extraordinary ability to convert others, becoming what he called a "media-based inspirer" who helped millions appreciate the briefness and sanctity of life.
The Last Lecture is a 2008 New York Times best-selling book co-authored by Randy Pausch —a professor of computer science, human-computer interaction, and design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—and Jeffrey Zaslow of the Wall Street Journal.[1] The book extends the September 2007 lecture by Pausch entitled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams".[1] The Last Lecture is renowned for its witty humor, despite encompassing Pausch's farewell to his loved ones due to his terminal pancreatic cancer.[2] In the book, through his past experiences, Pausch attempts to lend advice to his children that they may need once he has passed. He recounts memories growing up and important people who have been vital in "achieving his childhood dreams."

What Is the Main Theme of "The Road Not Taken?"
The main theme of "The Road Not Taken" is that it is often impossible to see where a life-altering decision will lead. Thus, one should make their decision swiftly and with confidence.
It is normal to wonder what the outcome would have been if the other road, the road not taken, was the road chosen. But to contemplate this hypothetical deeply is folly, for it is impossible to say whether taking the other road would have been better or worse: all one can say is that it would have been different.
What Is the Central Message of "The Road Not Taken?"
"The Road Not Taken" suddenly presents the speaker and the reader with a dilemma. There are two roads in an autumnal wood separating off, presumably the result of the one road splitting, and there's nothing else to do but to choose one of the roads and continue life's journey.
The central message is that, in life, we are often presented with choices. When making a choice, one is required to make a decision. Viewing a choice as a fork in a path, it becomes clear that we must choose one direction or another, but not both.
In "The Road Not Taken," Frost does not indicate whether the road he chose was the right one. Nonetheless, that is the way he is going now, and the place he ends up, for better or worse, was the result of his decision.
This poem is not about taking the road less travelled, about individuality or uniqueness. This poem is about the road taken, to be sure, as well the road not taken, not necessarily the road less traveled. Any person who has made a decisive choice will agree that it is human nature to contemplate the "What if..." had you made the choice you did not make. This pondering about the different life one may have lived had they done something differently is central to "The Road Not Taken."
The speaker opts, at random, for the other road and, once on it, declares himself happy because it has more grass and not many folk have been down it. Anyway, he could always return one day and try the 'original' road again. Would that be possible? Perhaps not, life has a way of letting one thing leading to another until going backwards is just no longer an option.
But who knows what the future holds down the road? The speaker implies that, when he's older he might look back at this turning point in his life, the morning he took the road less travelled, because taking that particular route completely altered his way of being.

WHY MARS?
At an average distance of 140 million miles, Mars is one of Earth's closest habitable neighbors. Mars is about half again as far from the Sun as Earth is, so it still has decent sunlight. It is a little cold, but we can warm it up. Its atmosphere is primarily CO2 with some nitrogen and argon and a few other trace elements, which means that we can grow plants on Mars just by compressing the atmosphere. Gravity on Mars is about 38% of that of Earth, so you would be able to lift heavy things and bound around. Furthermore, the day is remarkably close to that of Earth.
ON-ORBIT REFILLING
Starship leverages tanker vehicles (essentially the Starship spacecraft minus the windows) to refill the Starship spacecraft in low-Earth orbit prior to departing for Mars. Refilling on-orbit enables the transport of up to 100 tons all the way to Mars. And if the tanker ship has high reuse capability, the primary cost is that of the propellant, and the cost of oxygen and methane is extremely low.
STARSHIP
Starship will be the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, with the ability to carry in excess of 100 metric tonnes to Earth orbit. Drawing on an extensive history of launch vehicle and engine development programs, SpaceX has been rapidly iterating on the design of Starship with orbital-flight targeted for 2020.
LANDING ON MARS
Starship will enter Mars’ atmosphere at 7.5 kilometers per second and decelerate aerodynamically. The vehicle’s heat shield is designed to withstand multiple entries, but given that the vehicle is coming into Mars’ atmosphere so hot, we still expect to see some ablation of the heat shield (similar to wear and tear on a brake pad). William Harry McRaven (born November 6, 1955) is a retired United States Navy four-star admiral who served as the ninth commander of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) from August 8, 2011 to August 28, 2014. From 2015 to 2018, he was the chancellor of The University of Texas System.
McRaven previously served from June 13, 2008, to August 2011 as commander of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)[1] and from June 2006 to March 2008 as commander of Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR).[1] In addition to his duties as COMSOCEUR, he was designated as the first director of the NATO Special Operations Forces Coordination Centre (NSCC), where he was charged with enhancing the capabilities and inter-operability of all NATO Special Operations Forces. McRaven retired from the U.S. Navy on August 28, 2014, after more than 37 years of service.[2]
McRaven was reportedly considered as President Joe Biden's choice to be Secretary of Defense.[3] However, Biden nominated retired general Lloyd Austin.

The Artemis program is organized around a series of Space Launch System (SLS) missions. These space missions will increase in complexity and are scheduled to occur at intervals of a year or more. NASA and its partners have planned Artemis I through Artemis V missions; later Artemis missions have also been proposed. Each SLS mission centers on the launch of an SLS booster carrying an Orion spacecraft. Missions after Artemis II will depend on support missions launched by other organizations and spacecraft for support functions.
Artemis I (2022) will be an uncrewed test of the SLS and Orion, and is the first test flight for both craft.[b] The goal of the Artemis I mission will be to place Orion into a lunar orbit, and then return it to Earth. The SLS will use the ICPS second stage, which will perform the trans-lunar injection burn to send Orion to lunar space. Orion will brake into a retrograde distant lunar orbit and remain for about six days before boosting back toward Earth. The Orion capsule will separate from its service module, re-enter the atmosphere for aerobraking, and splash down under parachutes. Artemis 1 was originally scheduled for late 2021, but the launch date has been pushed back to no earlier than August 2022.
Artemis II (2024) will be the first crewed test flight of SLS and the Orion spacecraft. The four crew members will perform extensive testing in Earth orbit and Orion will then be boosted into a free-return trajectory around the Moon, which will return Orion back to Earth for re-entry and splashdown.
Artemis III (2025) will be a crewed lunar landing. The mission depends on a support mission to place a Human Landing System (HLS) in place in a near-rectilinear halo orbit (NRHO) of the Moon prior to the launch of SLS/Orion. After HLS reaches NRHO, SLS/Orion will send the Orion spacecraft with a crew of four, which is intended to include the first woman and the first person of color to land on the Moon, to rendezvous and dock with HLS.[c] Two astronauts will transfer to HLS, which will descend to the lunar surface and spend about 6.5 days on the surface. The astronauts will perform at least two EVAs on the surface before the HLS ascends to return them to a rendezvous with Orion. Orion will return the four astronauts to Earth.[16]

Since 2006, China has steadily developed a national agenda for artificial intelligence development and emerged as one of the leading nations in artificial intelligence research and development. During the late 2010s, China announced in its thirteenth Five-Year Plan its plans to become the global leading AI powerhouse by 2030, aiming to get the worth of its AI industry to over 1 trillion RMB by the same year.
China has broken down this goal into three stages, setting benchmarks for 2020, 2025, and 2030 respectively, as well as releasing a handful of policies, including 'Internet + AI' and 'New Generation AI Development Plan', to incentivize industry growth. Many estimate that China's AI development would contribute approximately 0.8% - 1.4% annual economic growth rate to China's economy.
China's central government has a list of a 'national AI team' including fifteen China-based companies, including Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba, SenseTime, and iFlytek. Each company is supposed to lead the development of a designated specialized AI sector in China, such as facial recognition, software/hardware, voice intelligence, and others. China's rapid AI development brought significant impacts to China's society in all aspects, including socio-economic, military, and political impacts. Agriculture, transportation, accommodation and food services, and manufacturing are the top industries that would be the most impacted by AI deployment.

"We choose to go to the Moon", officially titled the Address at Rice University on the Nation's Space Effort, is a September 12, 1962, speech by United States President John F. Kennedy to further inform the public about his plan to land a man on the Moon before 1970. Kennedy gave the speech, largely written by presidential advisor and speechwriter Ted Sorensen, to a large crowd at Rice University Stadium in Houston, Texas.
In his speech, Kennedy characterized space as a new frontier, invoking the pioneer spirit that dominated American folklore. He infused the speech with a sense of urgency and destiny, and emphasized the freedom enjoyed by Americans to choose their destiny rather than have it chosen for them. Although he called for competition with the Soviet Union, Kennedy also proposed making the Moon landing a joint project. The speech resonated widely and is still remembered, although at the time there was disquiet about the cost and value of the Moon-landing effort.
Kennedy's goal was realized posthumously, in July 1969, with the Apollo program's successful Apollo 11 mission.

"Stay hungry, stay foolish"
"He tells three very candid, uncharacteristically Steve Jobs stories about life, love and death from a guy who's biological mother wasn't able to parent him, was booted from the company he created and battles cancer. Anyone stuck in a miserable job — or anyone trying to figure out what to do with their life — should watch this. He's an inspiring fellow human."
At one point, Jobs tells the students "you have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever." The dots you encounter in life, he said, will eventually connect. "Believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leaves you off the well-worn path. And that will make all the difference."
On January 20, 1961, John F. Kennedy was sworn in as the thirty-fifth President of the United States. His short, fourteen-minute inaugural address is best remembered for a single line: “My fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” This call to public service resonated with what JFK called the “new generation of Americans—born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage.” It was virtually the only part of the address to address solely domestic matters and initiatives. The balance of the speech places the United States at the center of worldwide action in facing the challenges of the Cold War in particular, in strong declarative sentences and emotional appeals:
Assuming office in the midst of the Cold War, JFK understood that his inaugural address would have to instill confidence at home and respect abroad. He believed that democracy thrives only when citizens contribute their talents to the common good, and that it is up to leaders to inspire citizens to acts of sacrifice.
It was also in his inaugural address that John F. Kennedy spoke his famous words, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." This use of antimetabole can be seen even as a thesis statement of his speech—a call to action for the public to do what is right for the greater good.
He promised to respect the separation of church and state, and not to allow Catholic officials to dictate public policy to him. Kennedy also raised the question of whether one-quarter of Americans were relegated to second-class citizenship just because they were Roman Catholic.

"We shall fight on the beaches" is a common title given to a speech delivered by the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom on 4 June 1940. This was the second of three major speeches given around the period of the Battle of France; the others are the "Blood, toil, tears and sweat" speech of 13 May 1940, and the "This was their finest hour" speech of 18 June 1940. Events developed dramatically over the five-week period, and although broadly similar in themes, each speech addressed a different military and diplomatic context.
In this speech, Churchill had to describe a great military disaster, and warn of a possible invasion attempt by Nazi Germany, without casting doubt on eventual victory. He also had to prepare his domestic audience for France's falling out of the war without in any way releasing France to do so, and wished to reiterate a policy and an aim unchanged – despite the intervening events – from his speech of 13 May, in which he had declared the goal of "victory, however long and hard the road may be".
It is said that immediately after giving the speech, Churchill muttered to a colleague, "And we’ll fight them with the butt ends of broken beer bottles because that's bloody well all we've got!". Nonetheless, Churchill impressed his listeners and the speech was immediately recognised to be historic. Jock Colville, one of Churchill's secretaries, noted in his diary "A magnificent oration, which obviously moved the House". Chips Channon, a Conservative MP, wrote in his diary "he was eloquent and oratorical and used magnificent English; several Labour members cried". A Labour MP, Josiah Wedgwood, friend and admirer of Churchill since the Dardanelles campaign, wrote to him, "My dear Winston. That was worth 1,000 guns and the speeches of 1,000 years".
This is one of the most famous, powerful speeches of all time.
"I Have a Dream" is a public speech that was delivered by American civil rights activist and Baptist minister, Martin Luther King Jr., during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963. In the speech, King called for civil and economic rights and an end to racism in the United States.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable Rights" of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.

Thousands of people lined the streets of Louisville, Ky., today to pay respects to boxer Muhammad Ali. He's being laid to rest in his hometown. Elsewhere on the show, we'll hear remembrances from the memorial service.

We also wanted to listen back to Ali himself - his humor and his voice. And that brought us back to his spoken word album he made in 1963, "I Am The Greatest." At the time, he was 21 years old. He was still known as Cassius Clay. And he was on course to fight Sonny Liston for the world heavyweight championship.

When you learn Chinese, you are going to have many challenges and its not going to be easy. It takes about 2200 hours to learn Chinese. It is important to be aware of the common reasons people give up, and have a strong reason to learn Chinese.
Invictus by William Ernest Henley is an inspirational poem. This poem depicts the poet's attempt to motivate himself when there is no hope at all. When the poet writes this poem he has already lost one of his legs. So, in such a situation of mental and physical agony, the poet tries to lift up his courage
This was also inspired Nelson Mandela to continue the fight to end apartheid, despite the frequent struggles he faced.

The poem ‘If’ by the India-born British Nobel laureate poet Rudyard Kipling is a poem of ultimate inspiration that tells us how to deal with different situations in life. The poet conveys his ideas about how to win this life, and after all, how to be a good human being.
The poem, written in 1895 and first published in ‘Rewards and Fairies’, 1910 is 32 lines long with four stanzas of eight lines each. It is a tribute to Leander Starr Jameson. The poem is written in the form of paternal advice to the poet’s son, John.
For the theme, as already told, the poem basically tells us the conditions that we should meet to succeed in life and make this life happy and a beautiful one. The whole poem is written in a single complex sentence. So all the subordinate clauses begin with ‘if’ and the main clause concluding the entire theme comes at the end, and the poem ends with a full stop.
This structure of the poem was important to achieve the conditional goal. The poet speaks of the achievement at the end, after discussing all the requirements to reach there. This structure is actually symbolic in suggesting that you can get the rewards only after you have fulfilled the preconditions. Moreover, this makes the readers eager to know what would happen when we meet all these conditions, thus retaining the curiosity and interest till the end.
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
