............
This is an episode I'm designing specifically for the homepage of books to get leads. The point of this is to welcome a new visitor on the page and explain an important point about books to get leads. We are not only creating a front-end lead generation system, it's also a marketing system designed to convert our clients into an offering, and follow up with them long-term. Brian Kurtz, the author of the book overdeliver, taught me a term. It is called the online family. It's so much more of an empowering term for leads. We are connecting with human beings, giving them tremendous value, making offers that are relevant to them and their journey, and keeping them as customers for as long as humanly possible. You want to over deliver at every level. One of the ways to do that is by having a book, plus all of the other media associated with it. I hope you understand what this episode is all about, and if you'd like a greater Insight, go to www.booksthatgetleads.com and see how I'm using this episode on the homepage as a welcome.

It's more of a misconception or disempowering perspective than it is a myth, but it's such a common sentiment I hear on a regular basis. I thought I'd address it today.
The myth is: “No one is going to read the book anyway.”
This insinuates that what you put in your book doesn't really matter.
It's is dangerous for two reasons.
The most important reason is that rich and successful people read. If you're building any credibility by "just" authoring a book, all of that credibility fast dwindles if the contents suck. The second dangerous element is the pernicious mental slothfulness it can promote. It's like suggesting to yourself that no one cares about what you have to say. That is not the type of messaging you want to tell your subconscious.

Client case studies have three elements of influence wrapped within them. The first is that a case study is a story. The second is that they contain valuable information that appeals to the self-interest of the reader. The third, and probably most valuable element of case studies is, they are wrapped within a layer of social proof. In this episode, you're going to learn books that get leads.com. I hope you are having a tremendous day. Sincerely, Colin Campbell.

In the last four episodes of books that get leads, I shared with you how to get book clarity through your target market, their problems and your solutions, create the ultimate outline and then turn that into a workable document. Today, in this episode you'll learn about a unique process I call the publishing assembly line.

The publishing assembly line is 10 folders you open on your computer or within Google Drive. You label each folder consecutively from 0 to 10.

Each folder has a specific rule for the publishing process. As you progress through your document, you'll be moving it into the next folder until your project is complete.

So, we're done with the brainstorming stage. Now it's time to start writing our book! Alright, let's go ahead and open up a blank text document so that you can get started on what will become your Book That Gets Leads.

The first thing I want to talk about is structure because this part of the process might not be as intuitive for some people--especially if they are used to just following their gut instinct when making decisions or handling projects in general without any kind of guideline whatsoever (that sounds like me).

Before you write anything, the first step to prepare your book is clearly defining your target market.
Who are the readers?
Specifically, what are the demographic and psychographic qualities of your perfect client?
Write those down and keep them in mind as you start strategizing your book’s content.
