Hello Mortals: Recent Episodes

This is sorta a summary of the sub-chapters: Becoming Human, The Other Human Populations, and The Rise Of Modern Humans. These sub-chapters are from The Third Chimpanzee by Diamond, Chapter 2.
One day Isis the goddess of good fortune, the sea, and travel decided she should know Ra's secret name, or the name that gave him his power(1).
When Ra was on his schedule, he being in his older years leaned down to earth, his spit falling. Isis picked up the spit and the earth around it, transforming it into a snake, perfect for her plan. She left it where Ra would cross over it and find it(2).
When Ra was crossing over the lands, the snake bit him. He felt like a fire was raging threw him. Ra let out a cry, his ennead asked what was happening but Ra couldn't speak for the poison toke ahold of him, like a Nile flood(3).
Ra summoned his strength and said "A illness has struck me, I know it even though I did not see it, I did not make this nor have I seen it before, nothing could hurt more than this(4).
The god spoke again "I am the oldest, the great one and the son of the great one, I have many names and many forms, I am in every god, who is called Atum-Horus-Hekenu, I hid my name incase a magician struck against me. I went outside and was struck by this"(5).
Ra spoke once again "Have the children of the gods come to me, their wisdom reaches the sky" They came to help but they were unable to get rid of this illness that plagues Ra. Then Isis came, whose words could save a dying man.(sneaky Isis mode on) "What Father? A snake has bitten you, one of your children has raised their head against you! They can only be stopped with your power, I can cause it to retreat from your rays."(6)
Ra said "When I was walking over the two lands, I was bit by a snake. I feel colder than water yet hotter than fire." (7)
Isis said "Tell me your name for a man lives when he is called by his name" Ra said "I am the maker of these lands, creator of what exists upon these lands, maker of water, I am the one who opens his eyes and there is light, and who shuts his eyes and there is darkness. I am the cleaver of the year, the maker of seasons, the one whose name gods cannot know, the controller of the Nile flood, I am the maker of hours so the day can exist, the maker of fire. I am Khepri in the morning, Ra at noon, and Atum at dusk." But the poison did not stop.(8)
Isis the said "None of those is your name, the poison will leave when the name is pronounced." Ra said "Come close so I may whisper it but only your son can know my name, may he know the consequences." Ra then whispered his name. Isis then said "Fail snake for I am the one who made you and then sent you, fall to the ground poison. I have the great god's name, Ra lives so the poison is dead, therefore input Ra's real name is alive." Betrayal 100. Sorry for the bad audio.
