Straight Shootin' LJA gives his opinion on the Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul incident where Paul stole Mayweather's cap leading up to their 'exhibition' fight on Sunday 6th June 2021, how the media tried to negatively portray Mayweather even though Logan Paul was the antagonist and what this kind of fight means in regards to the state of current boxing.
SSLJA looks at whether or not crossover/exhibition are just gimmicks and whether or not sporting crossover fights can actually be helpful to their respective sports, or they're just vehicles to help the individuals taking part line their pockets, hurting the credibility of their respective sports, especially a boxer the calibre of Floyd Mayweather.
SSLJA dives into other examples of fighters crossing into other sports (such as Ken Shamrock & Dan Severn from UFC into WWE in the 90s) and whether the lack of 'big draws' in boxing since the 90s and especially since Mayweather's retirement is causing the sport of boxing to become desperate for these gimmick bouts to get attention back to the sport.

Do black people need to get more involved with politics and protests?
An age old question but one that has to be asked in my view. SSLJA and Gavin 'Da Gman' Henry attended an anti bnp protest back in October 2009 outside BBC television centre, which was caused by Nick Griffin the (leader of the British National Party) being allowed to be on a flagship political programme, Question Time.
SSLJA and Gavin 'Da Gman' Henry went down with a camera and a microphone and produced the YouTube video; Straight Shootin' LJA at the Anti-BNP protest (available here - https://youtu.be/giuBT2twnDc ) and this is previously unreleased material we captured that night 11 years ago back in October 2009.
What we noticed during the protest is that there were a lot more white people protesting this than black and asian people and we asked the black people that we did find, why do they think this is? What does it mean to be black? A snapshot from 2009
Back in October 2009 there was a protest outside BBC Television Centre in White City, West London and the reason for it was because at the time the openly racist Nick Griffin (leader of the BNP) was going to get a national platform to air his racist and xenophobic views, he was going to appear on BBCs political programme, Question Time.
