Rachel and Randy tell Ryan how to recognize and stay safe in rip currents, and Ryan shows that swimming against the will of God can be just as hazardous, if not more so.
It starts off as a simple walk to the pier and back, but in the end, Randy can taste and see the goodness of the home grown carrots from Rachel’s garden. Rachel can see there is another type of sowing she doesn’t know, but wants to learn. And Ryan shows that an open heart and mind to the Word of God is the only hope and cure for the sting that is far worse than the sting of the sting ray.
After an epic day of surfing the gang realizes they've drifted a long way and they're pretty hungry. As they make their way back to their stuff, Ryan shows some vulnerability, Rachel makes an apology, and Randy is hungry, again.
The boys will do whatever it takes to find some surf with no tourists, just locals, who know the rules. When they find themselves stranded and in need of some help, it’s a tourist who shows they know the rules better than the locals.

Rachel and Ryan want to paddle to a different spot for better waves, but Randy doesn’t want to go. Rachel and Randy know it will be worth it, so they offer to tow Randy all the way there. Along the way, they discuss a miracle Jesus performs when a paralyzed man is lowered, by his friends, from a hole in the roof to the feet of Jesus.
