How do you treat the least of these? Pastor Rusty challenges us with this scripture from the 25th Chapter of Matthew.

There are 3.4 Billion unreached people in the world, consisting of 7,391 unreached people groups. A majority of those unreached people live in an area called the 10/40 window. As far as Missions go, less than 3% of all missionaries serve inside the 10/40 window. Pastor Rusty challenges us to look at how we can serve those in the world that are unreached. We can do that by: being a prayer, being a giver, or being a goer. However the question that all professing believers must address: "Is He Worthy?" Pastor Rusty gives us a case that He is Worthy.
Pastor Rusty preaches a message from the Gospel of John, reminding us to be "come and see" Christians.
Pastor Rusty talks about how the Bible tells us to be friends and how we can see Jonathan and David's friendship and how close they were to each other.

The Sermon reminds me of Hymn 59 in the 91' Baptist Hymnal called "My Lord is Near Me All the Time" written by Barbara Gaultney in 1960.
The Second Verse is the most striking:
When the thunder shakes the mighty hills, and trembles every tree, Then I knowa God so great and strong can surely harbor me.
This week Pastor Rusty teaches a sermon on the first five verses of the fourth chapter of 1 Timothy. Pastor Rusty reminds us that we need to remember that some will fall away from the faith due to the teaching of demons and deceitful spirits. These spirits will teach two things:
- Forbidding Marriage
- Abstinence from Foods that God has created
However, we are to receive those things with thanksgiving because we believe and know the truth. As verse four and five says "For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.
Pastor Rusty talks about Dad's and how they can show love through three examples of sinful men and one sinless example in our Creator.

Today's sermon is about Paul and how he was changed from being a killer of Christians, to the soul saving Apostle that composed 13 of the 27 Books in the New Testament. Listen as Pastor Rusty goes through the Story of Paul, from Acts 6 to Acts 9.
This Sunday we started a new series on the Book of 1 Timothy.
Timothy was a disciple of the Apostle Paul. In scripture we first see Timothy on Paul's Second Missionary Journey in Acts 16:1-3. Timothy was the Son of Eunice and the Grandson of Lois (2 Timothy 1:5) and were likely converts of Paul on his missionary journey. Many scholars believe that Timothy was a convert of Paul as well and that's why he often refers to Timothy as "His Son."
In the opening section of 1 Timothy we see that Paul has left for Macedonia, and in the progress of his Journey he has left Timothy to be in charge of the Church at Ephesus. Paul is giving instruction to deal with those in Ephesus who were teaching doctrines that opposed Paul's and also those that were teaching without the full knowledge of the law, thus leading to vain discussions.
In the conclusion of our four week series about Jesus Christ in the Gospel of John, we end up with the Resurrection of Jesus on Resurrection Sunday. This miracle of Christ, raising Himself from the Grave, is why we believe in the truth of Jesus Christ. It is why we have trust and faith in His words, because one day, we will too be resurrected just like Christ was that Sunday Morning almost 2000 years ago.

In the third installment in our series, Pastor Rusty brings us the trial and death of Jesus. There is no doubt about it, Jesus' trial was unjust. He wasn't given a fair trial and even when Pilate himself declared that Jesus did not wrong, he still bent to the pressure from the Chief Priest and the Pharisee's, and the crowd they had worked up into a frenzy. Oddly enough, those same people were shouting for Jesus just one week prior.
Jesus was tortured and beaten. Made fun of by the Roman guards as he was put upon the Cross with a Crown of Thorns. Mocking Jesus by putting "The King of the Jews" over his head as they put Him on that cross.
Pastor Rusty continues a New Four Week Series about Who is Jesus in the Book of John.
In this sermon we focus on Jesus signs and miracles that the Apostle John highligted in his Gospel. From turning the water into wine at the wedding at Cana to the raising of Lazarus.
Pastor Rusty starts a New Four Week Series about Who is Jesus. In this sermon, we focus on that fact that Jesus was God. Fully God, Fully Man: as you have likely heard it said. This means that Jesus was more than merely a good teacher or as some pseudo-Christian religions claim, the brother of Lucifer, he was God. He had to be just that so he could bore our sins on the cross and be resurrected, which is the hope that Christians have all over the world.

In Today's Sermon, Pastor Rusty challenges us through the 1 Peter 5:8 to always be on the lookout for the enemy or adversary. We might also call the enemy Satan. The world has made a caricature of Satan, depicting him as in all red, carrying a pitchfork and wearing red spandex. However, this depiction is deceiving as the scripture describes Satan as one who will camouflage himself really well. Pastor Rusty reminds us that we need to be very vigilant in regards to protecting ourselves, children and grandchildren as this enemy wants to steal, kill and destroy and will stop at nothing to do just that.
In this sermon Pastor Rusty uses 1 Peter 5:7 to remind us that we should cast our anxiety (cares, worries) onto Jesus. Not just some of our anxiety but all of our anxiety unto Him.

Pastor Rusty brings us a message from 1 Peter 5:5-6 and how we are called to be humble.
One of our Deacon's, Mark Weber, is leading a Sunday Night Bible Teaching through John MacArthur's book Twelve Ordinary Men and since we have been working through the Book of 1st Peter, Pastor Rusty thought it would be good for the congregation to hear about Simon Peter in more detail. Mark talks about Peter and how that Jesus renamed him from Simon to Peter, and how that when Peter would revert back to his old self he would call him Simon. Words of wisdom from Mark as he challenges us to be more like Peter and not like Simon.

Christians will suffer. That is something that we know because Jesus even said it in Matthew 10:22, that you will be hated because of His name. When we face this suffering, how we react will show a bunch about your belief in God and the true Gospel.
In this passage, the Apostle Peter is telling us to rejoice. We have to remember that we serve a sovereign King that is in charge of everything. Every ruler. Every person. Every law (even the unjust ones). And he is doing as part of a plan, His plan, and rejoice that the King has chosen for you to be a part of His plan.

Pastor Rusty helps to lay out a game plan for our life using the words from the Apostle Peter as the guide. However, one of the most important and very difficult reminders on how to share a defense for your faith comes in verse 15, where Peter reminds us that we defend our faith with gentleness and respect.
Pastor Rusty brings us a message on how we are to interact with government and authorities, and what the Apostle Peter has to say about those interactions.
As our Children led the morning worship this Sunday, Pastor Rusty reminded us of how each and every one of those children are a blessing from God.
Pastor Rusty begins a sermon series on the book of Peter by reviewing the life of Peter from the Gospels and all of his shortcomings including denying Jesus three times, cutting off the ear of Caiaphas, and to being called a son of the devil. Sometimes it's good to understand that God chose imperfect people to fulfill his will and that he will use you to fulfill his will when you are imperfect also.
Pastor Rusty brings a message from the entirety of the Book of Jonah, looking at how Jonah's attitude towards the people of Nineveh can sometimes parallel our feeling toward the people who we see as "lost." A great reminder that all humans are image bearers of God and they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and we should share the Gospel with them, because that it what we are commanded to do.
Pastor Rusty delivers a sermon in the wake of a loss of one of the members of our community on who it's okay to weep with those who are weeping...and how sometimes your presence is all many people are asking for in times of sorrow.
Brother David Ford leaves us with his last sermon during Pastor Rusty's vacation with some encouraging words about Zacchaeus and how Jesus went looking for him in a really big crowd.
Bro. David Ford delivers a message on God's Promises but here are three helpful truths from the sermon:
- My Mission begins with a pursuit (you can't move without action)
- The presence of God is what we are to pursue
- The presence of God shows the power of God.
WARNING! We have some audio issues in this podcast that resulted in high pitch squealing. We are aware of the issue and are looking for a fix so it doesn't happen again. This week Bro. David Ford gives us a message on the First Chapter of Jonah and showing how we can take this Old Testament Book that is generally relegated to the Children's Ministry and apply the principles from the Biblical narrative to adults. This will be the first message in a series of three messages.

This love is not the world version of love (tolerance) but God's definition of love (self-sacrificial). This love will mean that people will hate you for spreading the Gospel and the love of Christ, because they hated him first and they will hate you also.
In this sermon Pastor Rusty opens up the Book of 1 John to reveal a hard truth: not everyone is a child of God. Jesus himself said that you will be either for him or against him. The Book of 1 John even tells us that those that go on sinning are not abiding in Him, they are not of Him.
In this sermon Pastor Rusty reminds us that Jesus is coming and that while we wait we should be abiding in God's word.
Pastor Rusty was selected to preach at the CBA Kid's camp and their theme was Light. Here are some of the scriptures that he researched in prepping for the Camp Week.
In this message Pastor Rusty looks at what the Apostle John has to say about all the "anti-Christ's" that were popping up at that time and also showing that there are some movements that claim they have the right Jesus but ultimately when it comes down to it, they have a false Christology (view of Christ).
Pastor Rusty brings us a message from 1 John 2:15-17 on how we should not love the cosmos (world order). The Bible is clear that we should not be falling into the desires of the sins of the flesh, because we are no longer slaves to sin (Romans 6:18). The prominent thought today is that we need to "live for today" however a Christian should life for eternity and live a life of sanctification.

Owning a swimming pool requires a ton of maintenance, from keeping the filters clean to maintaining the proper levels in the water to prevent unwanted growth of plants and wildlife.
