My next guest is from Marble Falls, Texas, where he got his start in automotive repair at the age of 16. He then moved to Dallas before finally moving to Booneville, Arkansas, and opening Certified Auto Repair. On the weekends, he travels home to Hot Springs, where he and his wife, Peggy Sue, own and manage their vacation rental, Dockzilla Lake Hamilton.
Our next guest was born in Clarksville, AR. He moved to Booneville in the 1st grade after his mother took a job at the then Today's Plastics. He graduated from Booneville High and worked at the Logan County Detention Center. He was later hired at the Booneville PD and, in July 2020, took over as Chief. Since then, he has implemented many projects and programs to immerse the Police Force into the community, such as Shop With A Cop and Booneville Night Out. Please welcome Chief Ben Villarreal.
My next guest was born in Virginia and can trace her ancestry all the way back to the Jamestown colony. She later moved to the state of Idaho, where she helped organize the first tea party of Idaho. He has worked at the Logan County, Arkansas, Sheriff's Department since 2008 and was elected Sheriff in 2018, where he currently serves. This week we sat down with Booneville mayoral candidate Edgar Baker. Edgar and I discussed his experience at the Booneville mayoral debate. We did a deep dive into some of the questions submitted for the debate by the public that we could not include because of time constraints.
As many of you know, local elections are fast upon us. On October 10th, the Booneville Rotary Club held the Mayoral Debate and Pie Auction. We thought it would be a good idea to have the candidates back on the show to discuss their campaign up to this point and to elaborate on their experience at the debate. With early voting starting today, this will be the last public appearance for the candidates. After reaching out to all the candidates, Aaron and Brenda Brewer were the first to accept our invitation. Lindsey and I had a great time in this conversation. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

This week we have a Halloween treat for you. Our next guest is Chase Hayden of Off The Chain Paranormal, a paranormal researcher who, along with his team members, has explored many of the dark and creepy places ghosts like to hang out in Arkansas. They've even conducted investigations at an infamous location just south of Booneville. The Nyberg building, a five-story hospital built in 1941, housed 511 patients at the then-Arkansas Tuberculosis Sanitorium.
Other notable investigations were the historic Rialto Theater in Morrilton and the Postmaster Spirits Distillery in Newport. They've been a guest on many paranormal radio shows and podcasts and featured on the Travel Channel's "Kindred Spirits" program.

My next guests are performing musicians and recording artists who met in 2014. They later went on to form an Arkansas-based band whose sound can be described as the combination of gritty, Texas red dirt with anthemic Tennessee-style choruses.
They will be performing in the first-ever downtown music event held in Booneville on April 16th. Hayefield, along with another Arkansas-based band, Kinch, will be performing in a benefit concert for the Lucinda Franklin Garrett Community Stage Project, organized by the Booneville Rotary Club.

My next guest is a Booneville High graduate who went on to study humanities at Barry University and got his master's degree in Human Resources at Barry University.
Most of his life has been devoted to law enforcement in some compacity, from a correctional officer at Cummins State Penitentiary to the US Air Force. He was even a patrolman at the Booneville PD before becoming a senior patrol Agent for the US Border Patrol. He then became a Senior Special Agent for the federal government. Since retiring and coming back home to Booneville, he opened Mt.Vista Real Estate and Brewer Auctions. He is active in many civic groups, including Kiwanis and Rotary, and is now seeking the office of Mayor of the City of Booneville. I'm pleased to announce Aaron Brewer.

I sat down with Dustin to discuss Liberty Informatics, a technology company he started with his partner Crockett Hopper. At Liberty Informatics they provide a rare blend of hardware and software co-design experience to take on hard problems for clients.

We sat down with Sarah Enoch to discuss many of the benefits of the University of Arkansas co-operative extension service of Logan county. We discussed co-operative programs including, 4-H and beekeeping, as well as some lesser-known programs such as STEM-themed programs that include robotics and computer science. Sarah described the extension service as one of Arkansas' best-kept secrets and expressed her intention to make it more widely known.
