One of the hardest things to accept (it's fairly a western issue) was the closing of Disneyland this past year. Being raised in Southern California, Disneyland played a large part in my childhood and young adult life. My brother Lou joins me as a talk about our Disneyland experiences and I research some deaths that occurred in the park.

When I was living in the US, I met Scott Kirkingburg at an open mic and from there I was part of the comedy acts that would perform with a jazz band above a Thai restaurant in Spokane, Washington in an industrial area. If it sounds ridiculous, that's because it was!

I got cold just thinking about Canada, so I threw on my toasty pizza costume to stay warm and gave Mike Harte a call on zoom to discuss his story about comedy and his situation in Niagara Falls. I learned a lot about Canada and how they only have bags of milk, bags of it, no cartons, just bags, of milk. Bags of milk. No one else finds this strange? Anyhow, we had a lovely conversation that filled up the swear jar to pay for my next vacation, and then Mike had someone try to break into his car.

I reached out to the local community here in Brisbane to see if there were any stories of success or triumph during the COVID lock downs and while I did not know what I would find, I was blessed with meeting Carl Martens, who has been documenting every day of his life for the past 50 years. His whole collection can now be found in the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
