Antoine Thurston was born in Tacoma, Washington by Cherice Thurston and the late Alfred Lee Thurston. He was raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida and graduated from Blanche Ely High School in the year of 2007. He attended a year at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and was a member of the fabulous Marching 100 rattlers. He eventually received his bachelor's degree in Theology from Broward Theological University in Fort Lauderdale, his Masters degree from Midwest Theological University and his Doctorate degree in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in May of 2020. He has been preaching the gospel since January 24, 2013, is a Licensed Minister, Ordained Elder, an Inspirational Speaker and a mentor at Parkway Middle School located in Lauderhill Florida and host of a podcast called "Real Talk" where he discusses spiritual, mental and physical health issues and how to overcome them. Lastly, he is the state coordinator for Young Men of Valor Mentorship Program of the Youth Department of Florida Eastern Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.

As a Billboard-charting national recording artist, Joanna Hale-McGill is a business owner and praise & worship leader of 2 local churches in Slidell, Louisiana. On the last day of the 2015 Essence Festival, she humbly took the Walmart Stage and ministered the song, “Amazing Grace.” She was amazed when David Mann announced her as the winner. As part of the winnings for the Next Gospel Superstar Contest, Joanna recorded and performed her new single, “Open Door” written and produced by Detrick Haddon. During that time, she also recorded a new Top of The Hour Jingle for the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
Joanna has been nominated for multiple awards including the NOLA Gospel Awards, Steeple Awards, the Golden Triangle Award and most recently, multiple Dove Award considerations. In 2018 Joanna received the Artist of The Year Award with the Gulf Coast Gospel Music Awards.
Joanna has performed on many stages besides singing. In 2018 Joana was one of the leading roles in the gospel stage play Crowns. She premiered nationally on television as a featured gospel singer in the ABC’s season 2 premiere of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger. In 2019 Joanna was also featured on the cover of Break Thru Media Magazine and Lifestyles Health & Wealth Magazine
Joanna has completed her freshman album entitled New Sound Same God Volume 1 with McGill Music Group that was released in the Fall 2019. Her single entitled, “I Can Do Anything” which was also the jingle for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, has reached #21 on the Billboard Gospel Indicator Charts. Her most recent single entitle, “Be Patient” has reached #5 on the Billboard Gospel Indicator Charts. Joanna is quickly becoming a sought after artist and an award winning gospel singer and actress.
