TimberFest 2022 will be held in the beautiful backwoods of Colchester, IL. This event includes plenty of camp ground and incredible local music!
Featuring 12+ hours of live music extending from bluegrass and blues to hard rock and metal. Starting at 11am, on the 27th and proceeding late into the night.
A $10 donation will be collected at the entrance. CASH ONLY!
All the money raised from this event will be donated back to the bands. Come show support to the local music scene.
Feel free to bring your own picnic lunch/dinner and your own adult beverages. Food trucks and a baked goods sale will also be available on site.

Seth and I recap our adventure to Deere Run to watch the PGA John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois. It was amazing to take in the beauty of the course, the professionalism of the athletes, and the humorous events along the way. Our title "hey buddy" was a funny story from a pro hollering at an event worker, tito's booth, almost getting hit with a ball, etc. For those do not particularly care for golf, there were still some pretty good moments from this event that you won't want to miss! Got an opportunity to sit and visit with Eric Hughes who is executive director of Camp Liberty. Eric who is a Marine Veteran explains some of the issues he had coping with PTSD after his time in service and how he decided to get involved in the fight. Him and his wife among several other volunteers have worked extremely hard over the last few years to create Camp Liberty. Camp Liberty is a small farm located in Fulton County Illinois that offers assistance and programs to Veterans who are struggling with Post Traumatic illness with various resources and activities discussed in the episode. This week got to bring in Folkers who is a good friend that hails from Johannesburg, South Africa. We discuss being young and getting into athletics to when he made Archery his main focus working in shops - eventually starting his own business Zero Bowstrings. His travels to the US over the years have been filled with lots of twist and turns including a hectic trip through Covid protocals to make it here a year ago.
