This week's episode is a Zoom interview with Oliver Wood of The Wood Brothers that Steve conducted during the height of the pandemic, back in June 2021, hours before Oliver took the stage for a socially distanced, outdoor show in Charleston, SC. This previously unreleased interview was extracted from the Steve's New Music Guide archives, dusted off, and published for your listening pleasure. Hear Oliver, who had just released the fantastic solo LP Always Smilin' , ruminate on releasing an album during COVID, the dynamics of playing in a band with your brother, and why he sees music as the great connector.

Last week, we were lucky enough to have Charleston, SC singer/songwriter Gritty Flyright in the studio, but this week we're back to our normal format, so you know what that means -- a handful of brand new ear-worms! From dance-floor pop to old-timey country/western, no matter what you think you like, I'm bettin' that if you give this week's tracks a chance, you might just find a new favorite tune.
