Here's a bonus episode. On May 25, I preached while our pastor was out of town. 1 John 5:1-5 is all about overcoming the world. John's message is this: if you belong to the Father, you will overcome. Period. So, what are we to think about not overcoming? If you don't overcome, what does it mean? John's answer is strong and clear.
The end times are a perpetually popular topic that I've avoided speaking about so far on this podcast. Not because I think it's unimportant, but because any discussion about end times, done well, takes some serious time. This will be a primer teaching, intended to prime the pump of your interest in end-times teachings. I won't teach you everything you should know about the end times, but you'll get enough information to begin a healthy study on the subject.
In this episode, we look at the matters of time and treasures. How do these become vital fronts of the spiritual war raging around us? What can we do to protect them?
This is the fourth installment of the Seven Fronts of Spiritual War series. Relationships can be both one of the greatest strengths and greatest pitfalls of our spiritual journey. The Gospel does more than save us. It empowers us to grow and live a life that pleases the LORD in the here and now. It's more than the facts that led you to salvation. It's the good news that keeps transforming you all along the journey.
Kingdom authority in the church is derived the same way it is in the family: through loving service. This episode will focus on how we identify leaders (elders, pastors, deacons, etc.) within the church based upon the way Kingdom authority works.
What does Kingdom authority look like in a family? How does loving service change the dynamics between husbands, wives, and children? This will be a deeper dive into how authority should work within families.
An issue that doesn't get much airtime in many churches is authority. What does Kingdom authority look like? How do we walk in it? We spend more time talking about it than defining it. That's what we're doing in this episode. We're defining Kingdom authority.

Season 2: Episode 4 - In this episode, we're taking on the sin of racism. Specifically, we're going to define racism and racial prejudice, reveal the cause, and prescribe the cure. Sounds ambitious, right? It wouldn't be challenging if it wasn't ambitious. But when you start looking at what the Bible says about racism, the worldly remedies get revealed as the mirages that they truly are.
NOTE: I'd like to say that I planned on this episode dropping during Black History Month, but I didn't actually realize it until I had finished production and was uploading it to the internet. It's a wonderful coincidence, and I'm glad it worked out that way, but I cannot take credit for it.
