As such, Kanopi provides quality customer service with a holistic approach that covers the full lifecycle of a website, from initial strategy to beyond launch.

When she’s not advocating for the open-source community or running her web agency, she enjoys yoga and meditation, time on a bike or in the water, and hanging with her nephew.

--

A side note about Lindsey... It was clear to me the first time I met Lindsey that her experience in politics has given her a keen understanding of what it takes to build a brand, create a following, and essentially feed the marketing engine. What surprises me in this interview is that those lessons and habits did not naturally translate to marketing herself and learning how to be a boss. Her service-oriented nature and her humility in some cases got in the way of being able to champion her own initiatives. It echos some of my other interviews with women where we talk about being too close to a problem or hiring an expert to help us because it's too difficult to self-implement.
