I failed on the full episode in the month. I was so close! It's all good. It is here now! I will need to pick the next topic and find a new guest. Today we introduce: Ben Fish of Be Inspired with Ben, a life and life style company. He has written an awesome book, "Anywhere but Here; 5 Steps to Going Anywhere and Doing Anything." As two people who live with different types of Chronic Pain we explore and discuss ones own ability to deal with it. Conversational Notes include: Mind over Matter, Limitations of Fitness and Health on Healing, Stories we Tell Ourselves, Acceptance, Types of Pain: Physical; Psychological; Environmental, Treatments and Coping Mechanisms, Expectations, and more.

No, we are not doctors. No, we are not saying it's all in your head. Please do not take any one piece of this podcast as medical or scientific advice. Please enjoy this half hour ish of conversation for what it is, thought provoking conversation!

We bring back our OG guest, Colleen Simmons. You can find this artist - who teaches and takes commissions - @SneakySwirls on Instagram.

We discuss at length my Main Question: Should there be a hierarchical bottom to top in all structures/organizations and why does this situational structure happen often in our work places, et. al. ? The podcast that lightining bolted my Main Question was the "Sounds Like a Cult Podcast - The Cult of Stand Up Comedy" Episode. That podcast is brought to you by Hosts: Amamda Montell and Isabela Medina-Mate.

Further meanderings include, but are not limited to: Accountability, Capitalism, Corruption, Environmentalism, Government, Patience, Tolerance, Animal Rights, Children’s rights, Education and Parenting Stlyes, Genetic Manipulation, Healthy Competition, Learned Behaviors, and even Universal Design.

We come to an agreement that hierarchies though naturally occurring are not necessarily required in all human created things.

We even revisit Perception!

This episode is PG-13 for References to Child Abuse and Neglect, Light and Surface References also Minor Drug References.

Here is my stream of consciousness that is kicked off by Amanda Montell and Isabela Medina-Mate through their awesome podcast: "Sounds Like a Cult Podcast." The particular episode in references is: "The Cult of Standup Comedy." I also question the sentient capability of my vehicle. I come to a soft consensus in my podcast mission statement and goals for you, the Philosophizing Audience!

I find myself coming to a Main Questino of: Should there be a hierarchical, step by step, governance and pathway in all structures/organizations/indsutries and why does this situational structure happen often in our work places, et. al. ?

Digest these thoughts, check out the other podcast, and then join us here again shortly for my conversation with, (we bring her back!) Colleen Simmons.

Hello Philopsophers! Today we bring you a great conversation with an awesome guest: Ryan Nys! My cousin who is like a brother to me! We discuss the multiple ways the I can be brokedn down into the We through: communal vocabulary, governmental control, society types and structures, systems and individuals, education content, agriculture, capitalism, agriculture, greed and healthy self-interest, and even the wealth disparity. I give it a PG-13 for minor language and the references to Historical Violence.

It's a lot for a half hour but we find it to be thought provoking and hope you find that too.

Yes, I know Bill Gates is not the largest land holder in the U.S. I said he has, "a particularly large amount." Even not being close to the one who has the most he has a particularly large amount. Larger than I certainly could ever hope to attain. The point was to ignite a conversation about what is good and bad about that. I think I did because Ryans answer also gave me pause about some of the more negative undertones I had in mine in regards to people using agriculutre against others.

I wanted to put a link for Jennifer Garners farm, which, is super cool. https://onceuponafarmorganics.com/pages/jens-farm

As a reminder, the Episode that tickled my brain enough for me to pause it, record me talking to myself in the car, have this conversation, and then share it with you is: Dictators by Noiser Podcasts. Pol Pot Episode 4: The Killing Fields.

Noiser also does shows with Parcast another, one of my favorite networks.

The podcast inspiring this rant word vomit of thought is by Noiser Podcasts. It is called "Dictators." Really well told historical interviews and rise to fall arcs of some of the world's worst to come to power. The Episode was "Pol Pot: Part 4 - The Killing Fields." There are three other parts, obviously, but the particular response for us was this episode. I encourage you to check out the entire mini series on Pol Pot. Then, I would just listen to all of the Dictators episodes!

Part 2 will be available soon!

We are so excited to bring to you our unfettered throughts. That sound after our long and drawn out "of" is an attempted drum roll on our laptop. They were inspired by: CNN's Poppy Harlow's, "Boss Files" podcast. One overall and a second that is what caused our echoing thoughts on the back and forth between words changing meaning and interpretation as well as fact affecting reality and definition, aka Perception. The episode was "Women and Self Worth with Sallie Krawcheck." They were discussing women at the executive level among other interesting topics. I really enjoy this podcast and as a small business owner have learned lots. At 7:42 Sallie states that she hate's the word empower. This conversation stops at 9 minutes.

Later in a different episode with, "Anne Finucane of Bank of America: Hippie Turned Investment Banker," the word Empower comes up again. In this case they hypothesize that perhaps there is a "confused context" surrounding the word because to her everyone deserves success and if empowerment is how they get there then that can't be wrong. I hope to discuss this idea of a "confused context," or dare I say: perceptional difference, with my guest when we record. I hope these episode links and my car rant has inspired you, too, as I so look forward to sharing it with you!

We talk about ideas surrounding knowledge, education, and the flow of information. We breifly talk about how power dynamics influence these things and situations from our direct anecdotal life as well as on the broader scale. Harry Potter and Dumbledore's relationship is discussed as well as a trip to conspiracy land for a good run at the end. I'd give it a PG 13 rating for some content and language. If for some reason you haven't read Harry Potter yet then, spoiler alert ;)

I put an oral note in but I wanted to add a written one too. In the story I shared where my friend showed me a picture of a baby I had forgotten in the retelling that we recorded she had permission to take this photo. I may not have made it clear that there are no distinguishing marks of the patient, there are no identifying ways possible of connecting said photo to any person.

In More Succinct Sarah I had original said, "Guest," and I was worried that it would be confusing. So I badly tried to edit it to say Friend so people would know what I was referencing...sorry my editing skills are super sub par...we are in beginning amateur mode!

Don't forget to check out the podcast that got my brain started on it all by Parcast: "Mythology - Chinese New Year: Legends of the Tiger."

This is Part 1 of our first idea! What are things we want to know and how is this different from things we need to know? Who is the best judge of whether something is a need or a want, ourselves, someone else? Can you trust anyone who says, I'll tell you when you're older? Hear our thoughts from our car as inspired by "The Chinese Zodiac: Legends of the Tiger" by Mythology from Parcast.

At Philosaraphy the topics will range because our topics of podcast listening ranges! We figured arguing, debating, and laughing with ourselves in the car was fun enough that it might be fun for others too. Who are we to deny more thinking, listening, or communicating! As an Educator I will try to bring the discussion to connect with Education but we will see! Join us as we delve into a topic brought to us by brainworms from other podcasts.

The upcoming first episode will discuss Needing verses Wanting to Know. The podcast that made us think is called Mythology by the Parcast Network. It was from the series Zodiac featuring some of the myths and stories behind the Tiger of the Chinese Zodiac. Part 1 will be my rundown of how I am understanding the episode, some shoutouts to the podcast, and then what is making me think of our topic. In this case, why is this episode making me wonder about Wanting to Know and Needing to Know.
