On this episode we are joined by the wonderful, Coach Sandy Abney. Sandy currently serves as the Chief Science Officer for the CSCCa. Her professional background includes serving a deputy director of high performance for the Team China Olympic Committee, over 18 years as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Texas, and an accomplished career through sport and weightlifting. Born and raised in Texas, she was a former heptathlete and powerlifter turn weight lifter, becoming a Master Olympic Weightlifting National Champion, at the 63 kilo class, and competing for a sport on the 2004 USA Olympic Team.
