In this Psychonautica panel we will be discussing one of the BIGGEST topics that psychedelics tend to invoke - is the very fabric of reality is based upon materialism or idealism?
Is matter the primary substrate upon which all of reality is built upon, or is consciousness itself the spark from which all things not only emerge but exist within? Is it possible that it's a bit of both, or that there are more exotic options involving higher dimensions, spirituality, simulations revealed by lasers, or whatever else jumps to mind?

This week I am joined by Curtis Childs who is a follower of the mystic and philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg. Swedenborg was a prominent scientist of the 18th century who began to have visions which sound exactly like those exactly like those experienced when taking DMT or other psychedelic substances.

How does someone become a shaman? Is it possible for someone from western society, and what kind of sacrifices do you need to make from your "normal" life?
Its that kind of questions that I asked to Markham Jenkins who is an apprentice shaman at Marosa Ayahuasca Center in Peru. Markham has spent multiple months working with ayahuasca and numerous other master plants in order to follow the shamanic path, and in this video he shares his story of how he got here.
James W Jesso is an author, and creative talent behind Adventures Through The Mind YouTube channel and podcast. When I put the call out to people I should talk to a lot of people suggested James - and I am very glad they did because he was a great guest, and I hope that this will be the first of many such conversations.

This is my conversation with the popular and often controversial streamer - Destiny.
Destiny is most widely known for his political themed conversations which he live-streams on Twitch, but he has also had several psychedelic experiences which he describes in very vivid details.
One in particular which we discuss here is first experience with magic mushrooms where he took 10.5 grams and had what sounds like a fairly horrific experience. Still what I found interesting about this experience is that he was able to look at it with a great degree of clarity and honesty.
Beyond that we also discuss DMT, ayahuasca, and what value these substances might have as they expand into the global mainstream.

In this episode I speak with author, public speaker and internationally known expert on 5 MEO DMT - Martin Ball. The reason I wanted to talk to Martin was to try and get a different perspective on nonduality, the "God" experience, and what the benefit of such an experience might be.
What do people mean by "I am God" or "we are all God"? Why specifically 5 MEO DMT? What is reality?
These are all questions I wanted Martin's input on, and because I am a bit of a skeptic then I thought there was going to be a lot more disagreement here, but there was a lot here that I agree with, and I found Martin to be a fascinating guest. Also for anyone interested in 5 MEO DMT I would recommend reading his book Entheogenic Liberation.

I recently discovered the channel "Amanita Dreamer" which, as the name suggests, is completely focused on the amanita muscaria mushroom. There is something fascinating about this mushroom, but I realised that I hardly knew anything about it, and what I did know was tainted by fear mongering propaganda, and so it was refreshing to find such a wealth of information on the subject.

I really enjoyed talking to Amanita and we cover everything here from the power of ritual, to mental health, and of course the amanita muscaria mushroom and its effects. Amanita (the person) comes at this from a very grounded and level headed approach, and has a background in science and research. She was very open and transparent about her own journey with this mushroom, and I hope this will be the first of many conversations.
