Rough Draft is a show all about having honest conversations on navigating life, leadership, faith, creativity, and wellness as gen-z. There can be so many internal and external pressures that cause young people to strive for perfection, but this is a safe space where we can let go of the striving and simply rest in knowing that life is a journey, and we will not always get it right. This podcast isn't a platform for perfect people, because then no one would be on it. We are all just figuring it out, and these conversations will be with leaders, gen-z influencers, family, and friends who are on the journey too. So join us as we figure it out together.
I got to sit down with Leah Nicole Wiggs, a disruptive transformation coach serious about helping people get out of our own way. We talk about becoming familiar with being uncomfortable, letting God guide your steps, and got personal about our own struggles with mental health, and talked about how we overcame it and got to a place of understanding what God has called us to do and who He has called us to be.
I got to sit down with AJ Warren, a good friend and fellow youth leader. We talk about leading the next gen, accepting the call, walking in humility, and understanding that once you sign up for youth ministry, it's no longer about you.
I got to sit down down with my dad, a pioneer of the faith and a really big inspiration for me walking in ministry today. We talked about His journey from growing up in a Baptist church as a preacher's kid to what a true relationship with Holy Spirit looks like.
I got to sit down with Parker Wyatt, a good friend of mine who is taking the message of Jesus outside the local church to the young people of Covington, GA. We talk about the power of the local church, being humble, going through the wilderness, and what it means to really be used by God in new seasons.
I AM SO PUMPED BECAUSE ROUGH DRAFT SO HERE! This is a safe place where honest conversations about faith, life, leadership, creativity, and so much more take place. Special guests from all over who want to fight the war on perfectionism will be featured as we openly talk about where we are in life, where we believe we're going, and all mistakes we'll make along the way. This is a journey that I can't wait to take and I'm so excited that you'll be on it with me.
