Jessica Hoyle is a Tasmanian Lesbian Rights Activist,

LGBA Cymru spoke to Jessica in mid November, to discuss her life as a lesbian in Tasmania.

Jessica has challenged the law where she lives, which effectively claimed single sex spaces were now illegal. She has sought exemptions to allow for lesbian only events.
She also got into a spot of bother at a local Target store.

Following our discussion, on 28th November, her exemptions were denied by a state tribunal. you can follow Jessica on social media - @LgbTasmania on twitter, 'LGB Tasmania' on Facebook.

Sarah Tanburn of LGBA Cymru talks to Jo Phoenix.

Jo Phoenix is a criminologist, a lesbian - and another of those people facing discrimination at work for daring to question gender ideology. Here she talks in depth to Sarah Tanburn about why universities are failing to uphold basic standards of academic freedom and rigour, how we might think about speech and publication on campus, and the importance of challenging ideas rather than just trying to silence debate. They laughed quite a lot too, so come and join the conversation on Twitter @LGBAllies_Cymru.

Jo is crowdfunding for her claim against unfair dismissal and harassment. We hope you will feel moved to support her after listening to her eloquence, humour and clarity. If so, you can do so via https://www.crowdjustice.com/case/harassed-silenced-for-my-gender-critical-views/, or, as Jo says on the podcast, via https://www.bitly.com/ProfPhoenix
