The Cuckoo's Nest: Recent Episodes

I was born and raised in Florida by immigrant parents who were “trying their best.” I have no background in writing, just a lot of personal stories that I sometimes don’t even believe happened. But… they did. And although a majority of them involve some sort of negative, terrible or unfair situation, I believe that God has a plan in all that happens.
In an effort to share my stories (and land-lock them so they can be internet immortalized; because I am most likely going to develop some type of dementia), I am typing them up, recording them and putting them in “The Cuckoo’s Nest”.

I’m not saying I’m a hero, but there is an alligator fetus out there that thinks so. An endearing story of animal abuse, tennis and how love wins in the end. Just kidding, it’s a story about dumb kids doing dumb things.
We all know them. Mean kids with rat tails, mean rats with kid tails, mean tails and rat kids. I don’t know. Here is the story of how I overcame adversity… just kidding. Here is a story of how a mean kid with a rat tail choked me half to death.

A lesson on miscommunication. Pretty much the exact same story as Romeo and Juliet, except it involves a fish and nobody dies. Well, I guess something dies. This is me, Timothy Quitco, part of your average family. I’m a dad, and I’m married to a mom. There is Finn and Kiki; we found them. And our son, Jude? He found us. Oh yeah, about our house. It doesn’t move. And we don’t travel all over the world. You see, I’m a nurse working in Florida, who had a weird upbringing and a goofy childhood, full of goofy stories that probably should’ve put me in the mental ward. Okay, so we’re not that average. And between you and me, something amazing happened… and now I can look back on them, and see what the devil might have wanted, but what God intended. It’s really cool, and totally not secret.
