If you love discovering new music, this is the podcast for you. We play tracks from indie artists (with legal permission, of course). Le Café Music started off as a blog about popular music and indie artist interviews. While transitioning to podcast format, we decided to go with completely undiscovered, indie music only. The name "Le Café Music" comes from Ryan's time living in France, sitting in cafes, listening to music, and watching people go about their days.
Le Café Music Podcast
Welcome to Le Café Music Podcast! The music podcast for indie artists and music fans looking for something new. We’re back for a new season after one hell of a 2021.
In just seven episodes, we reached 62 countries, 711 cities, and 6 continents
The goal of our show is to get your music out to new ears all over the world. No charge. If we like it, we play it. Simple as that.
We are featuring 5 new artists today; all first-timers on Le Café Music Podcast.
I met Tag while working as a singer for Carnival Cruise Lines. Dude came in mid-contract as our new guitarist and just let it rip. Young, hungry, and…sexually charged. This track is a perfect representation of who Tag Ryan is, and I love it.Tag Ryan on Spotify
Now for something totally different. This is our first Gospel track we’ve played on Le Café Music. With a little blues and soul, the Reverend gets his message out beautifully. From his 2021 album “Bound for Glory”Reverend James Elmore Jenkins on Spotify
Colm Gavin is an Irish singer/songwriter from Dublin. His new EP “The 1992 Tapes” reached #1 in the Irish Singer/Songwriter charts #4 in the pop charts, #56 in the American Songwriter charts, and #81 in the overall charts in Italy…on the day it was released.Colm Gavin on Spotify
Midwestern singer/songwriter Tim Krauss is ttypes. His new single “Rock Bottom in Shanghai” depicts a person living in Shanghai, lost in nostalgia over a former lover, and smoking far too much weed. Musically it takes inspiration from The Kinks, Kate Bush, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, and mid-70s John Lennon.ttypes on Spotify
Nathanial the Great is a recording artist and songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. He’s worked with DJ Khaled, French Montana, Fat Joe, Wu tang, LL COOL J, just to name a few.Nathaniel the Great on Spotify You can catch us on Twitter:

Le Café Music #7: Hazy Weekends & ThBenj
Featuring:
Hazy Weekends - Chloroform
ThBenj - nananana
Magnus Sörensen and Marcus Bohm are the two guys behind the brand-new duo Hazy Weekends. Both of them have a background with other projects; Marcus comes from the indie band Kyte and is still active with the Swedish group Marcus Bohm & the BANG! Magnus was the lead singer of Suburbia and can also be heard in his solo project Magnus Sörensen & the Captains Inc. The two of them started writing music together in the trio Crossing Memory Lane and that’s where the idea of Hazy Weekends was born.
It started as they discovered writing together led to a whole new creative process and the result sounded like nothing they would’ve come up with on their own. They decided to occupy a secluded cabin in the woods without any disturbances such as internet, phones, neighbors or telly, but with only the peaceful silence of the nature surrounding them… and of course a couple of instruments.
The result is the freshly released EPs “Hurricane” & *Chloroform".

Aaron Carter and his fiancé split up one week after the birth of their son...because Aaron Carter is, and always has been a little douchebag.
And after one follower asked if he was battling addiction, Aaron quickly shut them down.
"I'm not suffering from any addiction problems that is very appalling and rude of you to say I expect an apology," the 33-year-old man child replied.
Three days after the brutal crowd surge at Travis Scott’s Astroworld that would eventually leave 10 people dead and hundreds of others injured, the rapper publicly announced he would pay for victims’ funerals. Several of the deceased’s families, however, tell Rolling Stone they aren’t interested.
As Rolling Stone reported Monday, the family of nine-year-old Ezra Blount — the youngest victim from the festival — told Scott’s legal team they wouldn’t accept his money. Now, attorneys representing four other victims say they’ve already declined the offer, noting they’d rather let the courts decide what actions best give the victims justice.
Of the 10 people who died during the festival, representatives for four of the families tell Rolling Stone they’ve rejected Scott’s offer, alongside the Blount family’s refusal.
One family member of one of the victims said, “It’s bullshit. If you gave a shit about these families, you wouldn’t have to put out a press release for everyone to see saying he’s willing to pay for a funeral,”
Travis Scott played on for almost 40 minutes after ‘mass casualty incident’ was declared at Astroworld.
**Officials declared a mass casualty event at 9.38pm, but the rapper continued to perform until around 10.15pm.

Kanye’s 10th studio album ‘Donda” didn’t actually drop on July 24 after his live listening event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Instead, he took up residency in a small room in the stadium for 2 weeks to revise the album. He went live during the process and it was bananas.
The live stream showed Kanye recording, doing pushups in the room while other people hyped him up, napping, and even blankly staring into the camera for uncomfortably long periods of time.
After 2 weeks, Kanye had his 2nd listening party last night and PLANS to drop Donda at midnight tonight. A lot of his fans are skeptical of that actually happening.

Welcome to Le Cafe Music Podcast, The indie music podcast FOR indie artists BY indie artists.
It’s also for music lovers of all genres that are looking for something new
Our first song comes to us all the way from France, which is fitting for the title of this podcast. This is a jazzy little tune by Giohm called L’aspérule or The woodruff is a nice smelling plant that can be used to make Wine of May in France
That was Giohm with L’asperule. I’ll have to link up with Giohm after I move to France in 2 weeks for an interview!
The next one is by Lara de Belder, a London native with her new single Turn It Over, an alternative Pop song with jazz and blues influences, produced by Joe Rodwell.
Here is Turn It Over, by Lara de Belder
We’re going to change it up for the next track with some good ole’ country music. This one comes from Austin, TX, by singer-songwriter KC Beck, Hicks From The Sticks
We are all about diversity in every sense of the word, here at Le Cafe Music. We will play all genres as long as we think someone can get down to it.
This track is from a man raised in the Highlands of Scotland, and spent his youth busking around Europe. Tony Romaine’s latest song Promised Land draws on the traditions of Blues-rock and Americana. Here is Promised Land
The last track of our first episode comes to us by a 4-man group from the deep south, New Orleans.
According to band members, the sound of Jank Setup can be likened to a “hearty beef stew of funk and R&B, seasoned with soul, and garnished with jazz.” At their live shows, the Jank Gentlemen hope to display a high degree of musical craftsmanship, as well as oodles of contagious joy. Come hungry for a heaping plate of colorful brass harmonies, tight-knit rhythmic grooves, and versatile vocal styles.
Bringin all that beef stew, this is Jank Setup with Prince of Something

Welcome to Le Cafe Music Podcast, The indie music podcast FOR indie artists BY indie artists.
It’s also for music lovers of all genres that would like to discover something new.
With written (legal) permission to use these songs, these great new artists are allowing us at Le Cafe Music to legally play their songs on our show.
As a music professional and an artist myself, I understand the hard work and long hours it takes to create original music that deserves to be heard. Our goal here is to maximize the artist’s exposure.
We never charge to submit your music, because that would be preposterous and likely a scam. We just want to get your music heard by someone who may not have stumbled upon it before. If your ultimate goal as an artist is to get signed to a major label, we hope we can help you accomplish that.
Of course, we don’t make any promises on results, and we will not accept all submissions. Music is subjective, so I try to be as objective as possible when selecting the tracks you will hear on Le Cafe Music Podcast. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of country music, but I know what people tend to listen to in that genre and I will listen and consider all tracks sent our way.
If you are interested in having your music featured on Le Cafe Music and you are willing to sign a straight to the point legal document stating that you own the copyright and we have your permission to use the work on our show, shoot us an email at lecafemusicblog@gmail.com and feel free to check out what started as a blog on www.lecafemusicblog.com
