'Challenging Challenges' is a series of interactions with 'challenged' individuals, their families, friends & others who closely interact with them. It aims at creating a space for exploring how things were and are in our society & why and also how it can be to be more inclusive. It also looks to breaking the barriers between the 'Challenged', 'the not so challenged' & persons who can make tremendous difference to their lives. It tries to put across the face that the Disabled are not so different from the Abled that they need to be treated differently. It is hosted by Gayatri Rattan. The episodes will be aired once a month.
Can we control all that is going on?
What do I do when I can't?
An interaction with Ms Urja Kamath gives us a peek into what happens when you are a sportsperson, the younger sibling, in the shadow of another, changing homes & schools and much more. It makes us understand that even such a young person can be (and in this case is) aware of what happens on the inside because of all that is on the outside.
I trust you will enjoy getting to hear more stories and keep coming back for more....

CHALLENGING CHALLENGES hosted by me, Gayatri Rattan, a Right Hand Above Elbow Amputee.
This podcast is a series of interviews of & interactions with persons labelled as Disabled, and the people who interact with them. Through the episodes we learn of their needs, hopes, aspirations, dreams and hardships, in their own words and voices. It aims at bridging the gap between the populations of the persons labelled as Disabled and the rest of the world. At merging them all into a wholesome, vibrant, compassionate, understanding society.
The problems faced by the Disabled need to be discussed in every strata of society and the solutions applied to make the change. And through this medium, I hope that you, my discerning listeners and influencers, will join hands in making this single set of voices into a movement at the grassroots, thereby bringing to life the society we wish for.
