Welcome to the 2 year anniversary #WEDIDITJOE!!! But seriously, this was a monumental achievement and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to be of service.
Hello and welcome back! This episode is a recording from national webinar focusing on mental resiliency and emotional intelligence. The panel features Dr. Stacey Lloyd and Dr. Obed Magny. Please join us for a candid and open discussion about mental health, police work, and methods to develop positive coping tools.
This episode discusses how the way something is designed often determines the function of said item. I also use a recyclable cooler to drive a point home. Enjoy!
Whew this was a powerful episode that was centered on learning. I suffer from feeling blah (languishing) from time to time, and guess what... I'm a life coach! I added some impactful music to this one so you should really be able to focus and receive this word.
This episode discusses the hardships and benefits of pruning. Pruning is about removing dead things from our lives so that we can make room for growth.
For this episode I cover the concept of being grounded in the space of chaos. As always, if you are in a violent relationship and need help, please be sure to seek it. Have a strong week!

Today during my 8-mile run I had a powerful runner's high. At the height of my runner's high I was reminded of how amazingly developed my power base is. It was then that I realized I never took the time to breakdown what a power base actually is. The power base is the hidden gem of your resilience. It is that thing that girds and propels you forward. That thing that reinvigorates your will and resolve. Boldly step into your power base and do the work!!!

In this episode we start our SECOND BOOK!!!!!! "The Power of Regret: How Looking Backward Moves Us Forward" by Daniel H. Pink. This weeks chapters focus on defining regret, discussing how regret makes us human, how regrets makes us better, and we touch on the four core regrets. Join Nick and I as we go on a deep-dive to do the shadow work and bring some new perspectives to light.
Well well well!! This is the conclusion of the FIRST BOOK!!! (inserts happy dance). No but seriously as we wrap up Radical Forgiveness it has been quite an interesting journey that has us challenged us to think beyond our zone of comfort, and to implement some new strategies for conflict resolution.
Be sure to order "The Power Of Regret" by Daniel H. Pink so that you can stay "On The Same Page" with us!
Sincerely,
Coach Latham and Nick
Hello and welcome to one of the final episodes on Radical Forgiveness. Hello Hello! In this weeks episode we breakdown what it means to fake it til you make it and we cover the 5 stages of Radical Forgiveness.
Well Well Well!! Happy Anniversary to the podcast platform! In this special 1 year anniversary episode I wanted to cover some of the various Laws of the Universe, have a real world discussion on ambivalence and the victim mindset, and discuss the recipe for success. This was an amazing episode to develop (we'll see if it out does The Power Of The Pivot). Enjoy and thanks for listening!
Sincerely,

As we conclude part three of the book, what better time to have a full circle moment and reflect back on Chapter 2!!! Nick (EYESONNICK) loves PowerPoint and I (COACHLATHAM_PHD) love to see things come full circle (don't judge the nerd in us). Anywho, join us as we explore and discuss a host of assumptions presented by the author.

What better way to kickoff your Sunday than with an in-depth discussion about inner-child work, a powerful Navajo Forgiveness Ritual, the Life Force Filter, and Collective Love. Tune in as Nick (EYESONNICK) and I (COACHLATHAM_PHD) have a powerfully connected discussion on these topics and more.
The big takeaway for today "Forgiveness cannot be willed. It is an internal transformation."

Well well well!! Today was such an eventful morning. Nick (EYESONNICK) and I (COACHLATHAM_PHD) tackle a mouthful of topics ranging from the law of cause and effect, projecting our realities, the mission of "active forgiveness", and the powerful process of transformation. Also we dive into the topic of reincarnation, the astroplane, and Nick provides us with a detailed breakdown of Morphic Resonance.

Good morning!
Today, Nick and I breakdown chapters 5-8 with a little of our own flavor sprinkled added in. This weeks reading focused on a better understanding of what radical forgiveness therapy is, what it means to do the "shadow work", how to develop a relationship identity, and the law of resonance. We also have a little side banter about my inability to allow Salmon (the chicken of the sea) to re-populate itself. You can find me on social media: @COACHLATHAM_PHD and you can find Nick on social media: @EYESONNICK.

Whew and we're back!!! In this episode we're discussing how our life is similar to some of our favorite brands. This means that we have to understand how our decisions, which shape our lives, ultimately define the way that people in the world perceive us. If you're getting ready to start a business, start school, start a new job, get into a relationship, looking to mend a friendship, or just want to develop yourself... well why aren't you listening by now!!!!!

Recently in a coaching session a client asked me, "why should we persevere if nothing ever works out? Why should we keep trying if it only gets harder?". During the session I answered her questions and reaffirmed her worth and value. But it really got me thinking through the week. Why do I choose to persevere? When I take a good look through the looking glass (mirror) and see myself, what things about me spark a flame and give me the umph to get up and get going?! Well.... you'll have to listen to find out :)
Whew listen.... we covered so much in this special episode that I don't even know how to honestly begin. We hit love, loss, grief, mental illness, friendship, relationships, queer inclusivity, Kanye, Putin, COVID-19, navigating as a black American, politics, boundaries, spiritual alignment, and more!
I sincerely thank Lindsey (Linz_wags) for blessing us with her time and wisdom. Shoutout to iComplexity for the opening music for this special episode!
Enjoy,

Some days are just not as good as we'd like for them to be. Other times we fall short of our goals, we become hard on ourselves, and we only end up beating ourselves up more than we should. In this episode we discuss our emotional response to life's misfortunes, how we can handle blockage, how to stop our energy from leaking, and how to re-direct our focus.

This week we're tackling the issue of how our mindset and the way that we see things as a problem or a challenge affect our outlook, habits, and decision making.
Happy New Year and welcome to 2022!!! We're starting the year off getting right to business! Keith from (Keith Khronicles) is back to help bring this episode to life. Self-rejection is a form of self-sabotage and limiting beliefs. Often, we are not even the creators of these thoughts, they are projected onto us by our caregivers or role models. Stick around as we dig deep into what self-rejection is, how it shows up in our lives, how it affects us, and how we can work through it.
Don't forget to subscribe, like, and share the episode!

Merry belated Christmas!! In this episode I cover the story of Jacob wrestling with the angel at the bank of the river. I had it in my mind that I wanted this episode to be about self-rejection, but as fate would have it, I awoke this morning and for some reason the story of Jacob kept playing out in my head. Then I got a notification from my Facebook memories and 11 years ago on this day, I referenced the story of Jacob as my great-grandmother wrestled with her angel for a blessing during her surgery to remove cancer from her body. So, I must be obedient to the word and the will of God because there is someone who is going to hear and see this message that new life might be breathed into them. Today, I am asking that you allow me to enter into your dark places, that you might bring me into the recess of your spirit where you hide all of those things that embarrass you, those things that make you feel unworthy, those things that cause you to labor in your sleep. My objective today is to bring you out of the dark, to stand with you while your vision adjusts, and to set you on your way.
If you or someone you know is struggling with depression or dark thoughts, I urge you to visit www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/call, you can also call 1-800-273-8255. They offer an online chat service through the website provided. Both the phone line and the chat service are monitored 24/7, there will always be someone standing by to help you. The service is free and confidential. Please be kind to yourself, take care of yourself, and know that even in your darkest place, there is a resource available to you.
In this crossover special episode, my friend Keith (IG/Twitter: keithwayne__) and I discuss relationships, my time working for the Louisville Metro PD during the Breonna Taylor Protest, self-control, my transition into life coaching, and a host of other interesting topics. The full video will be available on Keith's YouTube Channel (Keith Khronicles) at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0FwfeltoGY.

Listen!!! I reached out and some of you responded. I'm going to be developing a full episode to capture this really good request from an engaged listener.
Alright, so listen, I want to jump right into this topic today! We’re going to spend our time together talking about protecting your gifts. As I was developing the content for today, I realized that it’s December, which means its Christmas, which means people are out shopping for gifts, and I promise I did not wake up this morning and say “I hope people” know how to protect their Christmas gifts. Today, we’re going to be focusing on your spiritual gifts, the things that are given us to by God, that we may often try to run from out of fear of being “too great”.

This week we're taking a look at the way that we create walls in and around our lives. Some of the walls that we develop have the potential to help nurture and cultivate our growth. Other walls have the ability to make us remain small and are detrimental to our growth. This week ask yourself the following: What is the dream? What am I trying to build? What do I want?
When you define your dream/vision/purpose, it brings things back into focus. Helping you realize and actualize what it is you’re after.
When you define what you’re trying to build, it helps you to hone in on what is necessary for the fulfillment of your dream.
When you define what you want, if helps you to ensure your desires are in alignment with your divine purpose.
This episode centers on navigating the turbulence that we encounter in life. Below are a few important points drawn out of the message. Life has been hard for most of us over these last 2 years, but there is something to be learned.
Feeling depleted does not mean that God is not with you.
The presence of doubt does not mean that you’re not capable.
The way that you see yourself will speak volumes to how you care for or beat yourself up.
Just because there are problems where you’re at does not mean that God does not want you there. There will be problems everywhere.
God means for our journey to be tough at times.
Through our interactions with our enemies, who dig into the sensitive areas of our lives, we are made stronger.
The walk of faith is tough. You might get beat up on the fight. Life can be rough and unfair. But it is through these hardships that we become fortified and wiser.
The closer you come to the promise the more difficult the opposition will become.
This episode continues the powerful and moving discussions that took place at the women's empowerment meeting. Featured are two different female speakers who share similar stories of hurt, pain, and triumph. We are all works in progress. We are all fighting invisible battles. There is power in our ability to speak our truth and stand in our transparency.

This is a special episode as it features a powerful and moving story. The story of my mom's upbringing. Her battle of overcoming isolation, abuse, molestation, abandonment, teen pregnancy, and depression. In her own words, my mother (Monique Pasley) leads a room of other empowered mothers, daughters, sisters, and cousins. There is power in our ability to speak our truth and stand in our transparency.
In this episode, Jon from St. Louis tells us his story about what helped him escape depression and a potential suicide, how triathlons have saved his life, his experience in IRONMAN Louisville, and some details about his upcoming debut in IRONMAN Texas!
There are some audio issues that could not be overcome during the recording of the episode. The audio issues do not takeaway from Jon's ability to tell his story. We are working to resolve these issues in the anticipation of future collaborative episodes.
There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. There is no perfect man or perfect woman. No perfect pet. No perfect job. No perfect thing that will make everything better for eternity. Rather, there are good relationships. Good jobs. Good pets. Good situations. Each of these is developed not through perfection, but through imperfection. That brings us to today’s topic, The Essence of a “Good Relationship”. This episode is not just for couples or those who are married. It’s for friends, parents, and family members. For co-workers and colleagues. We are all entering and exiting relationships throughout our lives and sometimes we have no idea that it’s occurring.
You can find the couples check-ins card by following HappyPartnersProject on Instagram.

In this episode we discuss the "aha moment" that happened for me one day while I was vacuuming. We never get to determine when the light bulb clicks on, but when it happens be attentive! This is the first episode where I also video-recorded the segment. You can see the video on my IG page at coachlatham_phd.
As you're listening to this episode think of some times in your life when the light bulb lit up and you weren't ready to commit. Think of a time when the light bulb lit up and you went after it. Then answer the following questions for each scenario: What was the outcome? What did you learn? How can you apply that in the future?

I recently took a trip home (no surprise) and had some exceptionally moving conversations with some of my close friends and family. I've also been reading a book by Tarana Burke and Brené Brown, titled "You Are Your Best Thing: Vulnerability, Shame Resilience, and the Black Experience. An Anthology". Between the familiar love of being home, the rawness of the conversations, and the experiences shared within the book I was really moved to cover this topic.
