Crowley kicks down a door, Aaron helps invade his own orphanage, and Celine demonstrates her ability to throw a knife.

Celine is in prison. Aaron leaves Telven, and Amanda's temper tantrum is in full force, causing Aaron to actually touch a sword in her defence.
Larns and Crowley confront Amanda about the arson of Aaron's apartment building and the resulting deaths. Later, Amanda gets angry at a pandhandler, leading her to make a decision.
Aaron gets a pet, gets tasked, and gets rejected. He also learns another surprising aspect of his Talent Stone.
Aaron learns more of the Clan, enters Telven, and has a surprising meeting. Elsewhere, Saundra has fun, and Filmore does not.
Joliet Random discovers why she joined the Isabellan Guard. Meanwhile, Amanda makes a discovery and gets stressed out.
Aaron meets the Clan, deals with Delmac's ire, and learns of an Isabellan officer's schemes.
Aaron grabs a Clan ambassador from the assembly building, revisits the frontier, and has a pile of unpleasant names dropped on him, courtesy of a very unwelcome Clan prophesy regarding Aaron and the Clan and the One God. Meanwhile, we revisit Saundra Clarice and meet her mysterious Mister.
Aaron and Amanda get grilled by the law regarding the kidnapping. Later, Felicity sets Aaron straight.
Aaron discovers that some dates are not as good as others. Kit cuts his ropes, and Aaron has his first meeting with an officer of IFBIS, the Isabellan version of our FBI.
Aaron gets woke up by a rude neighbor. He later takes a bath in preparation for his date, only to be surprised by the arrival of a naked Clan woman with demands.
Aaron talks sense to Kit and has a heart to heart with student engineers. We later meet Heralda, a child of the Clan, most noted for having survived having an arrow shot through her heart, by the grace of the One God.
