This podcast was created for a graduate project. The series will cover the PAGER Model of Technology Integration. The first episode will cover the background and framework of the PAGER Model and the subsequent episodes will cover the 5 different landings of the PAGER Model.
This episode will cover the framework of the PAGER Model. Through this episode listeners will be familiar with how the PAGER Model is organized, and the different landings of the PAGER Model.
This episode focuses on the first landing of the PAGER Model, the Platform Landing. The platform landing is all about teachers delivering and receiving information in a digital environment. The most likely avenue is through the use of a learning management system (LMS). This episode discusses some possible LMS' that teachers might use, and examples of how they might use that LMS to deliver and receive information.
In the third episode of the PAGER Model Podcast, I will discuss the Activities landing. In this landing, teachers will convert traditional classroom activities into digital activities. In this episode, listeners will learn some tools and ideas that they can use to convert their traditional activities into digital activities.
This episode will cover the third landing of the PAGER Model; the Generate Landing. In this landing, the shift from teacher-centered to student-centered technology integration will be seen. Listeners will learn about different tools that they can integrate into their classrooms to be successful at the Generate landing of the PAGER Model.
This episode will cover the fourth landing of the PAGER Model; the Engage landing. In this episode, listeners will learn about the Engage landing, and some tools and ideas that they can use to be successful at the Engage landing.
In this final episode of the PAGER Model Podcast, I will discuss the Real World landing. This is the final landing of the PAGER Model. In this landing, students are going to use various technology tools to solve real world problems. This is a difficult landing for teachers, because it requires turning over most of the control to students. In listening to this episode, you will learn a few examples of how you might be successful at the Real World landing in the PAGER Model. Happy Listening!
