You get to fly all over the globe, see many places, and meet a lot of interesting people. But there’s also a dark side. They face unpredictable schedules, extended time away from loved ones, and disruptions to Circadian rhythm. All these factors can make it hard to manage mental health despite one's best efforts. One of the reasons I started this podcast was to spread positivity in a somewhat negative world. But in addition to negativity, our world seems to be getting more and more chaotic. It's normally released when we eat delicious food, have sex, and — crucially — when we take addictive drugs. Social media also mimics human connection, prompting dopamine release when we get likes and comments on our posts.
