4 girls in the house this week. Keathe is still out, but is reading and ready to return next week!
Third week with out Voni?? She is back next week. Magen, Keathe and Martha discuss the pronunciation of Mage, along with other important topics.
Vonnie is off this week but Martha returns from vacation. 4 great books this week, as usual!
Martha and Keathe are apparently having a clandestine meeting in their secret tropical bunker. Meanwhile, Voni, Magen, and Pat discuss the comfort of dog beds, the power of sound tracks, and the many deaths of Leonardo DiCaprio, along with three pretty terrific books.
When vacations collide, the book girls time travel! We recorded this last week, so that's why we got to do two shows with Keathe in person!
Fresh from Book Bonanza 2023, Keathe joins the girls live in the studio (except Pat, she's still on Zoom) to discuss burning issues including vibrating trash, cartoon character wardrobes, what ice cream flavor is your pet, and the important lesson that if you don't know the history of merkins, you're doomed to repeat merkins. Oh, and books! Four very cool and different books that all have a small-town element.
Donna Peck, our friend and long=time book girl joins us this week from Kansas City to fill in for our vacationing cast. Did we talk about footwear AGAIN??
Martha is still on vacation, and the lack of supervision is getting out of hand. Besides 3 fabulous books, the girls ponder how to access the dark web, why millenials don't look stuff up, what's great about Pride celebrations, what Taylor Swift fans and homicidal astronauts have in common, and the worst part of geese.
Martha has left the book girls unsupervised again. Keathe has a bone to pick with de Niro and Pacino, and everyone has an opinion about age gaps and diamond sizes. Oh, and we talk about some books, too.
Martha is off this week for a funeral, and the girls are on their own...again! Posting was late due to her delayed flights!
Life lesson learned, fake fingernails and scone making do not go together. Voni is off this weekend, so its Martha, Magen and Pat!
When Martha's away, Voni and Magen do a deep dive into Titanic books, Keathe gives some love to her favorite book in years, and Pat tries to pronounce the difference between deaf and death.
Sorry about the late posting this week....zebra races! We have 4 books and plenty of other random crap to add to your brain though!

It's a busy month! Keathe is off this week and Pat is still running her escape room so it's just three of us.

Magen is still off chasing boy bands, so we dig in to strange bullshit we were told as young girls plus 4 new book reviews!
We are three weeks behind in shows so this show was recorded in April when the ants were marching through Martha's kitchen
We are still a few weeks out of sync, but Pat was still able to review a book about mothers on Mother's Day. Was it intentional? Or just happy accident? Either way our silliness is not kept in check today!
Martha rages at the idiocy of pet clothing while Voni plans a birthday party for her son's dog. Chickens in pants too. Of course there are four amazing book reviews somewhere there in the middle!
