It’s so easy to view summer as one giant vacation or just count down the days until you can get back to business. You spend the whole summer feeling as if you aren’t really getting anywhere, personally or professionally, and it’s all a big waste.
In this episode I discuss 3 very different ways you can OWN your summer. All unique in their approach. All serving a greater purpose for your business.
You can approach Summer 2023 in three different ways:
1. As a time to ramp up.
2. As a time to evaluate.
3. As a time to rest and recharge.
No matter how you choose to navigate this season, be sure that it's done intentionally! And when you settle on what it is you truly need this summer remember a few things.

With more and more platforms offering AI, the buzz on both sides of the issue is growing. Is AI going to replace the need for digital marketers, copywriters, photographers, etc? Is it a good idea to use AI for your business marketing needs? How will AI impact the digital marketing landscape and more importantly, YOUR digital marketing presence?
In this episode, Amber digs into the benefits and the potential obstacles to using AI. She outlines several reasons why AI can be a valuable tool to use and why it is so attractive to small business owners. She also details several downfalls of AI and how if used wrong, it can be a tool for destruction.
Listen in to learn how to best use this tool for your business!

Do you ever find yourself as a business owner feeling stuck when it comes to your digital and online presence? You know that in this virtual world, it's not an option to ignore this area. But, you aren't quite sure HOW or WHAT to do with it.
In this episode I share why our online presence is like the front door of our business. And just like a physical front door to a brick and mortar, how a potential customer or client experiences your digital front door can determine if they will ever come back or if they will ever buy from you.
I also dive into how our goals and desired outcomes should shape WHERE we focus our digital marketing efforts. Not all platforms are created equal and trying to show up in every possible way on every single one can feel like a scattershot instead of a targeted effort.
At Socially Inspired, we offer a business audit to help our clients hone in on their goals and then offer them recommendations on the platforms that will best help them reach these goals. Because a lack of momentum in your business doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your passion, your vision, your drive or your offer. But it may mean there is a disconnect or a gap in your digital marketing.
This is why my partner Katie and I are developing The Digital Divas. We know that some business owners can and will decide to outsource their work and hire done-for-you services for their digital marketing. But if you are not there in your business quite yet, you don't have to suffer! Our modules and courses will help EVERYONE find their inner digital diva.
Stay tuned for more to come!

Are you suffering from analysis paralysis because of your lack of information? You may have an idea but don't have the resources to make it happen. If you are ready to open your ears and mind to the wisdom of a child, this episode is for you!
In this episode, I share a lesson I learned from my ten-year-old daughter. It was an awe-worthy moment as a mother and cut deep as a business owner. Let's dig right in!
"We have started to glorify this idea that 'I should be able to do it all on my own, and if I can't do it all on my own, something's wrong.' I want to call that out as total bull crap. It is not the truth, and it is not healthy. It is not a good mindset for us to have. We have to start breaking away from that." - Amber Weyrauch.

In this episode, Jennifer shares how she went through burnout with entrepreneurship and how she rebounded from that. Let's dig right in!

Jennifer became a mom at 18 and has had quite a journey through entrepreneurship.

If you are in a relationship, whether you are married or in a long-term relationship, you start to look at conflict differently.
"On the other side of the conflict was a deeper and more respectful understanding on both of our parts. At that moment, we needed to fight about it, we needed to deal with the conflict, and we needed to address it because if we didn't, we were going to stay stuck in that place where I didn't feel the trust, and he didn't feel the respect." - Amber Weyrauch.

Welcome to a new segment, a mini-episode of The Inspired Biz Podcast. These episodes are where I love to come together and share a little about myself. I also want to remind us that while our business is a significant part of our lives, as entrepreneurs and small business owners, there is more to us than that.
If you are finding yourself on a precipice of deciding if you should get involved in a faith community or turn away from it altogether, this episode is for you. In this episode, I want to talk a little about faith as you navigate your business and your faith in life. Let's dig right in!
I want to encourage you to evaluate what your own needs are inside of your faith journey. If you are looking for connections, a place to be a part of something, you must go into it with open eyes and an open heart. No community is perfect, but you can take the lessons you've learned in your entrepreneurial journey and apply them there.

Some of the things that drew me to entrepreneurship were the ability to set my own pace, work wherever and whenever, and be able to spend time with my girls. One thing I didn't love about running my own virtual business was being alone. I realized early on in my journey that I needed voices around me. Voices to propel my business forward in collaboration and interaction, not keep me stagnant in isolation.
Listen in for a deep dive into the 7 voices all business owners need in their lives:
Also in this episode are three voices you absolutely do not need to grow your business. These are people you should treat with caution when giving access to your business and ideas.

Parents trying to build a business while your kiddos are at home, this one's for you! If you didn't know, I run a VA agency and have three amazing daughters. Whenever there is a break, like summer, the ultimate balancing act begins. Often times I feel pulled between building my business and being fully present with my kids.
Recently I had to establish a way that I could maintain consistency in building my business without sacrificing these rare and fleeting opportunities to be present with my girls.
Here are 5 tips to help you stay consistent in your biz:
Socially Inspired would LOVE to help you maintain balance and consistency in your biz. Send us a DM to get started https://www.instagram.com/sociallyinspiredmanagement/
Today we're diving back into the Brand Pyramid, specifically your brand alignment. Alignment is what we allow into our brand, it's what we partner with.
When we are in alignment, we are matching everything up. When we are out of alignment, we are creating discomfort. Think of your back or your car, when those things are out of alignment, they're much more difficult to operate.
Being out of alignment feels like you are being pulled away from the things you've set as your goals or your why. So, how do you know if you're out of alignment? Here are a few signs:
If any of the above sound familiar, it's time to press the pause button, and go back to your brand purpose. What is your why? Sometimes, it's necessary to receive outside help to get back into alignment (if only our backs could adjust themselves!)
If this is the case for you, send me a DM on Instagram, or an email at amber@sociallyinspiredmangement.com, to see how our coaching packages can help put you back on track.

Let's dive into 4 major obstacles we often run into while maintaining a growth mindset. These are not business-specific or career-oriented obstacles, friend. They can challenge anyone at any stage of business.
The first obstacle is feeling stuck. This happens to us all, the first thing you have to do is recognize it. Then, ask yourself: What is keeping me stuck? Often times it's fear. But you can challenge that fear. Is it reasonable? What structures and systems could you build to overcome that obstacle? At the end of the day, it's your decision to stay stuck, or move beyond this obstacle.
The next obstacle is feeling overwhelmed. I am no stranger to this one! Never forget that our feelings are indicators, and we have to listen to them. One of the ways I handle overwhelm is to push pause, and to take stock of what is actually happening.
The next obstacle is feeling drained. Yes, this happens to all business owners and employees alike. There are always going to be days where we feel uninspired, like we're running on a hamster wheel. The best part about this, is you can get off the wheel! YOU are in charge of your business, and when you suffer, the quality of your work suffers.
The last obstacle is feeling defeated. A practice I use to combat defeat is remembering. Document your victories, so you can go back and re-live them during these times. I use journaling to remember, it allows me to see the evidence of growth.
No matter what obstacle you may currently be battling, you are no alone. Just take it one day at a time, and do the next right thing.

When it comes to growing your brand, are you consistently showing up? When we fail to get consistent with how, when and with whom we talk about our business, we fail to reach our full potential for growth.
What exactly is Brand Consistency? It's so much more than posting to social media. It's what you say, how you say it, the content you're curating, the value you provide, and the offers you have.
It is showing up as you, portraying your brand and using the voice your clients or customers need to hear. Your Brand Consistency is all of the actions that flow from your Brand Purpose.
In this episode, I share a cautionary tale of a time when I found myself investing all of my time into my client's brands and neglecting my own brand. I made the subconscious decision to stop showing up, and my brand went silent. Shout out to Melissa Bowen (@mycoachfriend), it was in her vision board and goal setting workshop that I realized my goals and actions were out of alignment!

Do you want to feel a deeper connection to your business and brand? Do you ever find yourself uncertain of the 'why' behind your business? Developing a purpose-driven brand is the first step to creating a solid foundation on which to build your business.
How do you uncover your brand's purpose, and why is it so important? Everything about your brand should be built on your brand's purpose. Today, we'll review how you can define this for your brand.
First, let's talk about what it isn't. Your purpose is not to make income (that's a result). Your purpose is not the combination of your logo, colors or services.
So, what is your brand's purpose? Your brand's purpose is your True North Star. It will keep you on the right path when things get hectic. It should be deeply anchored into your core values and beliefs.
The first step to uncovering your brand's purpose is to find your why. What is your calling? Who are you and what are you meant to do? My purpose is to link arms with fellow entrepreneurs that at times feel they have no one else to turn to. This fuels all of my client interactions, not the task at hand.
How do you determine this? By asking yourself these five questions...
Branding is SO much deeper than your logo and your graphics. If you'd like to carry on this conversation deeper, send me a message on Instagram or Facebook and I'd love to talk about it!

Have you ever hit a season in your business where you just felt super burnt out? Maybe you are in one right now. What if I told you that your hesitancy to schedule a ‘check out’ is the root cause of that burn out?
My closest friend and I had an annual Girls’ Trip where we’d flock to the beach and leave behind the kiddos and work. It’s restorative and gives us much-needed time to catch up and pour into each other and ourselves.
Come April 2020, when our trip was canceled. One year later, we found ourselves busy in the midst of life and business. And now, finally, we are back on for a Girl’s trip this month!
This is my first real trip since beginning my business. And instead of anticipation and excitement, I’m finding myself filled with dread and worry. Thoughts like: ‘If I take this trip, am I putting my business at risk?’ My business has experienced so much growth and momentum this year, is me stepping away for a vacation going to harm my business?
Let’s talk about that belief and normalize it. Because friend, I know I’m not alone in thinking that. I don’t think ANY business owner can step away without some level of trepidation. Why? Because we're invested in our business! Because our business can feel like a child that we’ve nurtured and watched grow up. It's perfectly normal to worry.
The truth is, taking time away is essential to operating a successful business. First of all, one move is not going to dismantle your business. One action didn’t build your business, so one action is (most likely) not going to destroy it.
Listen, if we do not intentionally check out, we will most certainly burn out.
One more time for everyone in the back! If we do not intentionally check out, we will most certainly burn out.
Rest is a part of work. Recharging should be on our calendars just like work is on our calendars. Do the rest, don’t just do the work.
You’re the boss, remember?

Inspiration is all around us, but we are all inspired in different ways. It’s normal to hit points in our journey where we feel stuck. But often that’s a sign that we’ve lost our inspiration.
I’m keenly aware of the moment I realized I had lost my inspiration, and also the moment I rediscovered mine. In this episode we dig into the three reasons many people find themselves uninspired in their business and how you can reclaim your inspiration.
We can shake off the chains that keep us stuck and uninspired. In fact, WE often hold the key to unlocking them. Learn how we can dream again. Grow. Adventure. Be inspired and even inspire others. Tune in to learn how.
