An ultra-thin everyday watch!
The ultra-thin movement with micro-rotor fitted to the Tonda 1950 Steel combines an accurate and
reliable mechanism with optimal winding within an especially compact space. This movement
boasts hand-applied finishes, and features the "Côtes de Genève" decoration on its sublime
structure. It is equipped with a generous 48-hour power reserve.
The 40 mm steel case of the Tonda 1950 Steel sets it apart. Although only slightly larger than the
39 mm diameter of the gold model, the difference is significant and can be appreciated with the
naked eye. Its lugs are straight, and slightly concave, harking back to the aesthetics of the Tonda
39 Qualité Fleurier.
The Tonda 1950 Steel is available with a black or silver-coloured dial, which features an external
minute track, with a similar track on the seconds counter. This is designed to make the indications
easier to read, perfect for a watch intended for frequent use. The Tonda 1950 Steel features a steel

Have a look at the Omega Seamaster Diver 300 meter or what is often referred to as the
Seamaster Professional. This is one of the most iconic dive watches ever produced in the model
that has been available in some form in the Omega product catalog, since the year 1948. Today It
remains one of the oldest models in the Omega collection made famous by celebrities and
explorers alike, the Omega Seamaster was worn by legendary team members of the famous
oceanographer Jacques Costeau, and of course, Pierce Brosnan, James Bond, wearing an Omega
Seamaster Professional 300 in the 1995 film Goldeneye and the following three Bond films. This
Omega 212.30.41.20.01.003 is a modern and full-featured tool watch that doesn't lack in luxury

Symmetry and skeletonization are two traits that should come to mind whenever Arnold & Son is
mentioned, and the Tourbillon Chronometer No. 36 is certainly no exception. Drawing inspiration
from the John Arnold pocket chronometer No. 1/36, which will mark its 240th anniversary in 2018,
the Tourbillon Chronometer No. 36 is a commemorative creation leading up to the milestone year
for the historically significant John Arnold chronometer.
The John Arnold Chronometer No. 1/36 or "Arnold 36" as it is more commonly called was not only
the first pocket watch by John Arnold to use a larger movement with his "T" balance, but also the
first to be referred to as a "chronometer" for its superior timekeeping capabilities. In this respect,
the Tourbillon Chronometer No. 36 is faithful, contemporary horological homage.
Following the classical codes of traditional English chronometer movements, the main pivoting
elements such as the wheels, barrels, the tourbillon, and others are each mounted on their own
bridge. The triangular, multilevel bridges (no less than thirteen) are mostly skeletonized, providing
a more contemporary sense of three-dimensional depth to the entire timepiece.
The tourbillon, a central element of this timepiece, is highlighted in a most magnificent manner.
Held by a skeletonized and mirror-polished top bridge, the one-minute tourbillon features a
typically Arnold & Son three-spoke design. Weighing mere fractions of a gram, the tourbillon cage
consists of no less than 58 components. Prominently positioned on the dial side, the tourbillon
can also be viewed from the back, thanks to an opening in the main plate. The same kind of
opening is made below the small seconds display, adding to the symmetry of the Tourbillon
Chronometer No. 36.
The apparent technical virtuosity of the Tourbillon Chronometer No. 36 is not only a treat for the
eyes, as the watch is a COSC certified chronometer; something of a rare achievement for a
tourbillon-equipped timepiece.
The decorative haute horlogerie arts are also lavishly demonstrated in the Tourbillon Chronometer
No. 36. The entirely in-house conceived and manufactured A&S8600 calibre features a smooth
sand-blasted main plate and bridges with chamfered and polished edges. The main plate and
bridges are treated with a golden coating, echoing the aesthetics of the historical pocket watches
made by John Arnold. The main plate also is set with several mirror-polished 18k gold chatons,
while the wheels in the gear train are embellished with circular satin finishing with chamfered and
polished edges. Even the screws are bevelled and feature with mirror-polished heads.

The Grande Seconde incarnates the essence of the Jaquet Droz watchmaking art. While the brand
has oft varied its design, for the first time it proposes a sapphire dial integrated within a skeleton
composition. The Grande Seconde Skelet-One marks a true stylistic turning point in the brand’s
history, as part of its prestigious 280th anniversary celebrations.
The objective of this creation was to let light shine to the deepest reaches of the Grande Seconde,
all while preserving the figure “8” shape that is its aesthetic signature. To do so, Jaquet Droz
maintained the uncluttered character of the dial that is distinguished by the legendary hours and
minutes counter with Roman numerals at 12 o’clock, intertwined with the large seconds counter
with Arabic numerals at 6 o’clock. The composition stays true in all aspects to the original
inspiration of the Grande Seconde, playing with decorated surfaces as much as
empty spaces. As in music, where rests count just as much (if not more) than notes, the Grande Seconde finds
balance as it alternates between full and empty.
Similarly this new interpretation in total transparency – a first for Jaquet Droz – accords ample
breathing space to the time indications. Hours, minutes and seconds stand out in a new
transparent aesthetic bathed in light. Jaquet Droz has left only the bridges showing, which
structure the piece’s movement.

The original OMEGA Railmaster of 1957 was a simple, practical, yet elegant watch designed for
railway staff or anyone who worked close to electrical fields. Today, that spirit of innovation has
been carried over into an updated model which enhances the Railmaster’s capabilities yet again.
The 40mm symmetrical case is made from stainless steel with a wave-edged design featured on
the back. The vertically brushed black dial includes brushed stainless steel hands and recessed
hour-markers which are all filled with “vintage” Super-LumiNova. There is also a transferred beige
“Railmaster” indication which delivers a classic touch.
The watch has a two-tone grey textile strap and the oriented caseback features a NAIAD LOCK
design (patent pending) to keep the wording upright. The watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial
Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. Certified at the industry’s highest standard by the Swiss Federal
Institute of Metrology (METAS) and able to withstand magnetism of 15,000 gauss, this Railmaster
model recalls the superb anti-magnetic qualities of its predecessor.

The OMEGA Speedmaster is one of OMEGA's most iconic timepieces. The Moonwatch First
Omega in Space" was inspired by the watch worn by astronaut Wally Shirra in 1962 as he orbited

The 1968 Automatic Diver’s Re-creation Limited Edition
In 1968, just three years after Seiko’s first diver’s watch was made, Seiko’s engineers raised the bar
with a Hi-Beat diver’s watch with 300 meter water resistance that was one of the foundation
stones on which Seiko’s future diver’s watch development was based. It had a 10-beat high
precision automatic caliber, a one-piece structure, screw-down protection crown and unidirectional
rotating bezel.
The 1968 original was for air diving while this new re-creation is specified for saturation diving.
Like the original, it features a one piece case construction and a flat case back. It incorporates
Caliber 8L55 which was specially designed for diver’s use and is made by Seiko’s skilled craftsmen
and women in the Shizukuishi Watch Studio in Morioka in Northern Japan. Every detail is of the
highest quality; Zaratsu polishing gives the lug sharpness and beauty, a dual curved sapphire
crystal ensures high legibility, and the strap is made of the latest high strength silicone. The
markers have polished edges and those at 12, 6 and 9 are also different in design to ensure that
time is read without error even 300 meters down.
The same professional specifications are also to be found in a second new creation that
commemorates the 1968 diver’s watch. Its signature feature is the deep green color of the dial and
bezel. This rich shade of green reflects the lush tones of the ancient cedar trees on the island of
Yakushima at the southern end of the Japanese archipelago. As well as being a World Natural
Heritage Site because of its forests, Yakushima is a much loved destination for the diving
community, thanks to its crystal clear waters, coral reefs and abundant marine life. Durability and
strength are the watchwords; the zirconia ceramic bezel is highly resistant to scratches and
shocks, the stainless steel case has a super-hard coating and the sapphire crystal has an anti-
reflective coating both inside and out. The 5, 10, 15 and 20 minute markers on the bezel are
painted with a specially powerful LumiBrite to increase the legibility of the rotating bezel and,
thereby, the diver’s safety. In addition to the steel bracelet, a high strength silicone strap also
accompanies the watch.

Inspired by a Japanese painting technique called Kira-zuri, true to its translation “sparkling
painting,” the lustrous dial takes a life of its own. Commonly found in ukiyo-e paintings to create
texture to the background of Kabuki actors, the inspired technique adds depth and emotion to the
timepiece in movement and light. Designed in platinum PT950, 18k rose gold and stainless steel,
the dial on the platinum model has an additional plating process to create its unique texture and
sparkle, while the unique blue dial of the stainless steel model shares influences from the clear
blue skies over the Sea of Japan. As with all Grand Seiko timepieces, modern models pave their
own path with unique characteristics, manufacturing methods and calibers, but in some way,
always pay tribute to the past.

All life on earth is dependent on fluids. This truth inspired in HYT the desire to focus our attention
on the continuous movement of a coloured and a transparent fluid within a capillary. This display
system, as unique as it is complex to realise, gives the impression that it is levitating. It offers new
and intuitive perspectives on how to read and interact with both time and space. With a large part
of the movement hidden underneath a curved dial — suggesting the concentric waves formed by
drops of water repeatedly falling into the basin of a water clock — HYT is re-engaging with magic
and mystery, and with the source of life. The first watch brand in history to offer collections which
utilise major innovations in microfluidic technology, for its new H0 collection, HYT has decided to
rework its design. Pared down to the essential, only a section is revealed to provide a better
understanding of the extraordinary sophistication of the systems within. Less is more... A fraction
of the bellows is revealed through drop-shape openings in the surface of the dial. The minimalist
design of the titanium piece focusses the attention on the artistic, spectacular dimensions of the
fluid display. By basing the volume of the H0 on the circle, the droplet, and waves, HYT reinforces
its belief in the fundamental principle that space and time are one. These primal curves are
themselves inspired by a pebble, worn smooth by water from a mountain stream. Augmented by a
futuristic design, the minutes can be read via a hand positioned at 12 o'clock and the seconds via
a small counter at 9 o'clock. The practical cutaway at 2 o'clock enables the power reserve level to
be viewed. This finely balanced assembly is magnified by a sapphire crystal which offers a
completely new perspective, that of a side-on display. The H0 is available with a supple rubber
strap, with its fixings integrated into the case middle so the flow of its lines continues
uninterrupted, ensuring it is supremely comfortable to wear.

neomatik date, this caliber is particularly large. The first neomatik caliber with a date mechanism,

The Seamaster Aqua Terra is a superb tribute to OMEGA’s rich maritime heritage. In this 41mm
model, the symmetrical case has been crafted from stainless steel, with a wave-edged design
featured on the back.
The grey dial is distinguished by a horizontal “teak” pattern which is inspired by the wooden decks of
luxury sailboats. There is also a date window at 6 o'clock and blued hands and indexes filled with
white Super-LumiNova.
The blue strap is made from structured rubber and includes grey lining and an additional stainless

Since 1993, the Seamaster Diver 300M has enjoyed a legendary following. This year, the collection
celebrates 25 years with a full makeover from the inside out. The original design and ocean spirit
are still there, but now with advanced materials and updates in every model.
Now sized at 42 mm, every design detail has been rethought, including a new ceramic bezel with
the diving scale in Ceragold™ or white enamel. Inside, the watches include the Master
Chronometer Calibre 8800, instantly taking the collection into a higher realm of precision,
performance and magnetic resistance.
The sleek dials are made from ceramic and are available in black, blue or PVD chrome colour. The
popular wave pattern has been reintroduced (now laser-engraved) and the indexes have been
raised and filled with Super-LumiNova. Even the skeleton hands have been subtly reshaped.
One of the Diver 300M's most important details has always been its helium escape valve. For the
new models, the valve has been given a conical shape and has been patented by OMEGA with an
ingenious technology that allows it to be operated underwater.
Turning the watch over reveals a wave-patterned edge on the caseback, as well as sapphire
crystal, through which you can see the METAS-approved Master Chronometer Calibre 8800.

A new vintage diver's watch that pays tribute to BALL's watchmaking heritage
In 2012, BALL Watch Company took up the bold challenge of reviving a resonant part of its
watchmaking heritage in the form of the Engineer Master II Skindiver. Following the unanimous
success of this model as soon as it was launched, BALL Watch Company now once again meets
the expectations of all lovers of vintage diver's watches with the new Engineer Master II Skindiver
II.
Just like its predecessor, the Engineer Master II Skindiver II takes its inspiration directly from the
first BALL Skindiver" timepiece conceived in 1962 in response to the increasing popularity of
underwater diving in the United States, the original homeland of BALL watches. The launch of this
watch followed the creation of the "Underwater Society of America" in 1959. This public
organization is responsible for promotional work and providing training in relation to diving, as well
as organizing competitions. A practice dating back several thousand years, diving developed as a
sport and method for exploring the seabed after the Second World War. It gradually split into two
codes: scuba diving and skin diving or free diving.
For many years now, BALL Watch has played a pioneering role in the design of diver's watches,
especially through its extraordinary partnership with the multiple world champion constant weight
freediver Guillaume Néry. This outstanding human and technical exploit has been a source of
inspiration for an entire range of diver's watches at the cutting edge of modern watchmaking
technology. Once again, BALL Watch is proud to introduce a new model into the ranks of the

A new creation in the Presage collection of fine mechanical watches takes its inspiration from
Japan’s everlasting fascination with the moon. Following on from the success of the recent
release of a deep blue enamel dial that evoked the night sky, this new limited edition uses one of
the most elaborate lacquer techniques of all, Byakudan-nuri, as well as traditional Urushi, to
portray the rich tones of the sky and moon just before dawn.
Traditional Japanese craftsmanship is reflected in the combination of Black Urushi Lacquer,
“Byakudan-nuri” (a special Urushi painting method) and “Maki-e” decoration. The contrast of red
against the jet black background represents the “moon at dawn”
The crescent shaped tip of the second hand is coated with a gold powder, giving it a special
texture that resembles the surface of the moon. The power reserve indicator evokes the brilliance
of the crescent moon illuminated by the sun.
The crescent shape is also to be seen on the sapphire crystal case back, affixed by vapor
deposition.
Byakudan-nuri is a technique that has been used for centuries to decorate Urushi lacquer and,
because of the complexity of the craftsmanship involved, was reserved exclusively for use in
places and on objects of high status, including temples, shrines and on the armor of Shogun
warlords.
The complex processes, Urushi, Byakudan-nuri and Maki-e, are completed by hand by the
craftsmen and women in the studio of Urushi master Isshu Tamura in the Hokuriku region of
Honshu, Japan’s main island.
First, the dials are made with the traditional Urushi technique in which jet black lacquer is painted
by hand onto the metal base of the dial, dried and then polished. These processes are repeated
several times until the craftsman has achieved the exact depth of black that he desires.
Using a new layer of Urushi as the binding agent, the sub-dials are then sprinkled with a layer of
very fine metallic powder. The whole dial is then repeatedly painted with a red-tinged semi-
transparent Urushi lacquer and then each new layer is dried and polished for as many times as the
craftsman deems necessary. The effect is subtle but deeply satisfying. While the red of the sub-
dials is deep, these two dials catch the light and shine when the ambient light grows brighter, just
as parts of the sky catch the dawn light before others.

MeisterSinger crafts mechanical watches for people who aren’t interested in counting seconds,
but see the bigger picture and simply want to stay on track. Although the movement of the long,
single hour hand is hardly noticeable to the human eye, it is as relentless as the passing of time on
ancient sundials. Our division and representation of time has always followed the movement of
the stars. Even back in
the Middle Ages, tower clocks emulated astronomical models, preferring to recreate the
mechanics of the heavens on Earth rather than wanting to show single minutes or even seconds.
With its single-hand watches, MeisterSinger follows the tradition of these early timepieces. Now,
the renowned watch designer is presenting its first astronomical watch – the Lunascope.
The slender stainless steel case of the Pangaea family forms the ideal backdrop for an unusually
large moon-phase display. The upper half of the dial features a dynamic cut in which the moon
moves across a dark blue, starry background. The generous diameter of this timepiece allows a
realistic depiction of even fine details of the moon’s surface – like looking up at the sky on a clear
night.
The natural impression of the Earth’s satellite corresponds to the astronomical precision with
which the Lunascope represents the moon’s various phases. The moon takes 29 days, 12 hours,
44 minutes, and 2.9 seconds to circumnavigate the Earth. Most watches round this figure down to
29.5 days via the movement, which means they deviate by eight hours per year and need to be
corrected by one complete day every three years. However, the movement specially designed for
the MeisterSinger Lunascope is far more exact. Its moon-phase indicator only needs a slight
adjustment after 128 years – a short period in astronomical terms, but a very long time in the
world of watchmaking. The workings of the Swiss automatic movement in the Lunascope
equipped with the moon-phase module can be viewed through the screwed glass exhibition back
of the 40-millimeter case.
The Lunascope is available in two versions – with a sunburst dial in the dark blue of the moon’s
background or with a silvery opaline dial, on which the circular date window at 6 o’clock forms an
optical contrast to the astronomical display. The blue model comes with a calfskin watchstrap in
cognac, the silver-opaline version with a dark brown leather strap (crocodile grain).

Grand Seiko SBGA211 Spring Drive Power Reserve (Snowflake)
This is a watch for the genuine luxurious watch devotee, faultless in assembling and a genuine
insider decision for authoritative collectors. The Grand Seiko SBGA211 ‘Snowflake’ is one of the
hardest to source Grand Seiko's in the industry and a genuine collector’s timepiece.
The case and 193 millimeter bracelet are made with high-force titanium, giving a scratch and
corrosion safe finish, making it 30 percent lighter than stainless steel and a delight to wear. The
case dimensions are 41 millimeters in diameter and 12.5 millimeters in thickness. The beautiful
white dial can be seen through the dual curved sapphire crystal and date display that is coated

The blue steel second hand moves easily in glide movement, and sparkles over the differentiating

It has a 72-hour (3-day) power reserve, and a power reserve marker on the base left of the dial.
The Grand Seiko SBGA211 is fueled by the Spring Drive, Grand Seiko's one of a kind caliber, which
consolidates the processing power of a mainspring found with the high accuracy of a quartz
watch. It keeps time to ±1 second per day (±15 seconds per month).
Grand Seiko revealed the Spring Drive in 1999, yet its absence of an adequately successful
automatic winding instrument and 72-hour power hold avert its selection in the Grand Seiko watch
line. Following a further four years of improvement, the principal Grand Seiko 9R Spring Drive was
made.
The winding framework and drive time were advanced from the past 48-hour manual winding
system to an automatic 72-hour power hold. The automatic winding system utilizes Grand Seiko's

GoS introduced the Sarek collection in 2016 with dial patterns that emulated the elaborate and
ever-changing waterways in the Sarek National Park. A number of variations and bespoke
elements have since then been introduced as well as dials that resemble the famous northern
lights of Lapland. Northern lights are by far the most famous light phenomenon of the north, but
the colorful Autumn Sunsets can be just as spectacular.
GoS tempered damascus steel dials have deep and dynamic colors, but one limitation is that they
do not emit any light. Mother-of-pearl is translucent and let both color and light through the
material. GoS is the first watch brand to use this property and present mother-of-pearl dials that
glows in colors. Patrik Sjögren has developed the combination during two years to perfect two
favorite themes, sunset orange and ice blue, as seen in glaciers and thick ice. The elegant and
colorful dials are framed with a bezel made from Swedish stainless damascus steel.
Premium tapered strap and Swiss made deployant buckle. GoS watch straps normally are made
from moose leather sourced by GoS. However, the Sarek collections dress watch qualities are
sometimes better matched with a tapered strap in a more glossy leather. We now offer
alternatives to further personalize the watch in both leather qualities and stitching to match or
contrast the dial´s color range. The deployant buckles are Swiss made and supplier´s patented and
elegant snap lock mechanism has been proven to be flawless by major premium watch brands.

The elegance of the unique dials in mother-of-pearl is matched with new GoS presentation boxes
in Swedish crystal. The manufacturer Vas Vitreum is a family owned company that is now run by
the 4th and 5th generation of glass craftsmen. GoS and Vas Vitreum collaborated in designing a
multi-functional crystal box that serves equally well for display as elegant protection of the watch
inside

Zero-Sen was the nickname given by the Americans during the Second World War to the flagship
of the Japanese Navy, the Mitsubishi A6M, and perhaps the most important aircraft in Japanese
war history. It was protagonist for most of the operations during the Second World War, including
Pearl Harbour.
Lightweight, easy to handle, and fast, it was a model of true technological vanguard, particularly
because of its hybrid nature, being both an aircraft carrier and aircraft.
With the help of associazione Ali Storiche, Terra Cielo Mare designed a commemorative aviation
watch with nautical characteristics, as can be seen on the Zero-Sen’s dial, faithful to the original,
with the 12 hours on the outside and 24 hours on the inside as well as equipped with a slip and
skid inclinometer with indications in Japanese ideograms.
The real peculiarity of the Zero-Sen is the presence of a plaque made with the original aluminum of
the Mitsubishi A6M. Limited edition of 88 pieces (with serial number on dial).
The lever ®
The crown has been substituted by a lever release system. When closed, it enables to charge,
while, when open, it allows the release of the movement and the adjustment of time through the
rotation of the bezel.
The back case
On the bottom of the Zero-Sen, a slip and skid inclinometer ® allows the pilot to orient the veer of
the plane. On the two sides can be found the Japanese ideograms used to indicate left and right.
The original plaque
On the side of the Zero-Sen, an original plate of the Mitsubishi A6M, matriculation number
A6M3MK3, model 32, serial number 3148, abandoned by the Japanese on the island of Taora in
the south of the Pacific. The plate is of red coloring, for, part of the Rising Sun’s flag.

everything with a purpose. This collection, the Grand Seiko USA Seasons collection best
demonstrates that. While putting this collection together, Grand Seiko had each of the seasons in
mind: winter, spring, summer, and autumn. And if you look at the dials, you'll see that they perfected
the art of having these seasons on the dials. Now let's check each individual watch and see exactly
what you get. The first watch we’re taking a look at is the SBGA415. This watch is inspired by the
winter times as you can see with that gray dial. It's inspired by the greyness of winter and it has a
very beautiful texture to the dial. People called it snowflake; I tend to disagree, it has a very unique
texture to it. As you can see, also in the SBGA413, it has the exact same texture however this time
the dial is in cherry blossom pink. Now due to the pink dial, we can clearly see that this is inspired by
the springtime over in Japan rather than anywhere else. Up next we have the SBGH273. The concept
behind the blue dial was to capture the moonlight that is clearly visible during the autumn times.
Despite whether or not you think this is the perfect color for the watch, it is a beautiful color. Finally,
we have the summer edition, the SBGH271. This watch has a green dial with gold accents which is
inspired by the tree and the Sun that comes out in summer and as you can see it's absolutely
stunning.

The case and 193 millimeter bracelet are made with high-force titanium, giving a scratch and

case dimensions are 41 millimeters in diameter and 12.5 millimeters in thickness. The beautiful
white dial can be seen through the dual curved sapphire crystal and date display that is coated

It has a 72-hour (3-day) power reserve, and a power reserve marker on the base left of the dial.
The Grand Seiko SBGA211 is fueled by the Spring Drive, Grand Seiko's one of a kind caliber, which
consolidates the processing power of a mainspring found with the high accuracy of a quartz
watch. It keeps time to ±1 second per day (±15 seconds per month).
Grand Seiko revealed the Spring Drive in 1999, yet its absence of an adequately successful
automatic winding instrument and 72-hour power hold avert its selection in the Grand Seiko watch
line. Following a further four years of improvement, the principal Grand Seiko 9R Spring Drive was
made.
The winding framework and drive time were advanced from the past 48-hour manual winding
system to an automatic 72-hour power hold. The automatic winding system utilizes Grand Seiko's
unique Magic Lever instrument created in 1959, however with improved productivity, practicality,

Today we’re looking at the U51 Diver Tourbillon, from the swiss watchmaker Angelus, a brand with
a history going back 125 years. Founded in 1891, Angelus has been known for making
chronograph and multi-complication watches for over a century. The brand was revived in 2011 by
La Joux-Perret with the commitment of putting Angelus back on the pedestal of high-end
watchmaking.
With the U51 Diver Tourbillon Angelus says they are keeping with their tradition of utilizing
technologically forward materials to manufacture highly complicated and aesthetically interesting
timepieces, both meeting the required diver’s watch criteria and brining highly technical features.
This watch is intended as a high-performance sporty timepiece and that begins with the case. At
45mm in diameter and constructed from grade 5 titanium, the case is finished with a mix of
brushed and polished surfaces and has a thickness of just under 12.5mm and offers 300m of
water resistance.
At the side of the case you find a pair of screw down crowns, one for the winding and setting the
watch and the other with the purpose of controlling the internal unidirectional 60 minute elapsed
time keeping bezel. The internal bezel is finished in orange and blue with full graduations for the
first 20 minutes and with Arabic numerals at every 5 minute interval thereafter.
Covering the dial is a box shaped sapphire crystal with anti-r eflection coatings on both sides and
emblazoned with the Angelus logo. The dial itself is an openwork skeletonized display giving a
view of the movement’s internal workings and most importantly the mechanical tourbillion, but
more on that in a moment. The handset and seconds subdial are decorated with the same blue
and orange motif and the chapter ring and hands are filled with Super Luminova glow in the dark

Of courses the main event is the tourbillon movement and perhaps it’s not the most practical
complication to have on a dive watch, but then dive watches have been an impractical device since
the advent of the digital dive computer for anyone looking for a companion timepiece to join them
on their journeys to the depths of the sea.
The tourbillion is a complication we look at and appreciate for the sake of its artistry and
engineering. Originally created by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801 its purpose was to mount the
escapement and balance wheel in a rotating cage to negate the effects of gravity on the timepiece
as it was suspended in a static position. But today, more than anything, we just enjoy looking at it
and watching it work.
The calibre A-310 found in the U51 runs at a frequency of 4hz or 28,800 vibrations per hour and
the Angelus engineers and watchmakers pushed the boundaries with a power reserve of more
than 100 hours. They also set the tourbillon cage on a ball bearing instead of pivots with the
intention of gaining stability and precision.

German watchmaking art, the slogan found on the Glashutte Original website, is an apt description
for their watches. As a brand with German watchmaking roots going back to the year 1845, they
have carried on the art of Saxon watchmaking for 175 years, and yes art it is. If you take a look at
their movements, like the calibre 39-11 found in this SeaQ, which is unfortunately hidden behind a
closed case back, and you will see a level of artistry that you don’t find in many similarly priced
timepieces.
The SeaQ is available in a few different variations including the model we have here today as well
as the Panorama Date version and the SeaQ 1969 edition. The Panorama Date model comes in at
a larger size, at a hair over 43mm in diameter, which will work well for those people with a larger
wrist, but the model we have here has a smaller overall footprint. This version of the SeaQ has a
diameter of 39.5mm with a wingspan measuring 47mm top to bottom from lug tip to lug tip. This
model is also quite a bitmore slender, with an overall thickness of just over 12mm, compared to
the greater than 15.5mm thickness of the larger Panorama Date model.
The price of the SeaQ model on metal bracelet we’re looking at here today has a manufacturer’s
suggested retail price of $9900 USD, which is also in contrast to the Panorama Date variation,
coming in at $12,400 dollars.
The stainless steel case of this model lacks the crown guards as found on some of the other
variations of the SeaQ and has a mixture of nicely done polished and satin brushed surface
finishing. The stainless steel bracelet also has a mixed finish with polished center links and
matching satin brushed outer links to either side, but more on the bracelet later.
As it is a dive watch you have a number of the expected features that come along with this genre
of watch, which include a coin edged unidirectional elapsed time bezel, a screw down oversized
signed crown, closed case back and 200m of water resistance.
The dial, handset, and zero marker on the bezel are all filled with bright and long lasting glow in the
dark super luminova and offer the viewer a clear and legible view of the time in any lighting
condition. Speaking of the dial the SeaQ has a Galvanic Black dial with sunray finish, a finishing
process that should in theory preserve the appearance of the dial and resist the aging effects of
UV light such as fading over time.
The vintage influence of the dials 1969 inspired design is evident in the choice of type face and
layout, as well as with the off white to tan colored super luminova fill on the indexes and handset.
The ceramic bezel insert and the graduations and markers are modern manufacture quality but
also have a throwback inspired presentation. The high polished broad arrow minutes hand, as well
beckons the influences of the Spezimatic dive watch from which this model pays homage to. Of
course at the 3 o’clock position on the dial we have a framed quickset date and there is the printed
branding both above and below the central stack of the handset.
Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal that when viewed from an angle gives a look that is
similar to that of a vintage plexiglass crystal, but with the robust scratch resistance of modern
hardened sapphire glass.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m, the product line launched in 2005, is often viewed as
the big brother to the Seamaster diver – much in the same way that the Rolex Seadweller is
compared to the Submariner. It’s a collection from the Omega catalog that encompasses over 100
different models and variations including different sizes, colorways, and complications – having
an option for virtually everyone. And, while the Planet Ocean line is varied in it’s array of model
options it’s also and perhaps more notably a serious dive watch inclusive of every conceivable
feature a person would need out of a timepiece whether, it’s a just a casual daily wear watch or a
tool put to task under the most extreme conditions.
This model of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m, reference number 215.30.44.21.04.001
is a 43.5mm in diameter variation. The other dimensions of this watch come in with a thickness of

attaches to the stainless-steel case measures in at 21mm. It’s a larger watch with substantial wrist
presence but thanks to the constrained wingspan this watch will comfortably fit all but the most
slender of wrists – and for those people there is the smaller mid-sized variations available.
This model has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $6500 dollars, and taking into account
both the quality of the watch and when compared to similar competitive options from adjacent
brands on the market, is a fairly high value proposition – all things considered.
The rest of the specifications for this watch include an all stainless steel construction with a
mixture of both brushed and polished case finishing, a stainless steel bracelet with dual trigger
deployant clasp featuring toolless microadjust and a dive extension, a screw down crown and
helium escape valve, 600m of water resistance, stainless steel unidirectional elapsed time bezel
with knurled bezel assembly and ceramic bezel insert, a date complication at the 3 o’clock position
of the dial and the chronometer grade calibre 8900 METAS certified 60 hour automatic self-
winding movement.
The watch itself starting with the case and bracelet is substantial, robust, and has well appointed
finishing. The case shape is in a familiar Omega style with the twisted or lyre lug profile and
wearing mixed polished and satin brushed finishes.

Today’s watch, the Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Original, is one coming out of a long line of tradition
rooted in the history of the Ball Watch Company and their official railroad standard for
timekeeping. The Ball Watch Company was founded in 1891 out of necessity, in the aftermath of
one of the largest train collisions on the American railroad at the time.
Webb C. Ball was made Chief Time Inspector of the railroads and challenged with establishing a
reliable timepiece inspection system, setting standards of accuracy for all watches used on trains,
and creating a safer railroad system. Out of this the Ball Watches Railroad Standard and the brand
was born.
Eventually the brand ceased operations and production, likely due to the quartz crisis which ended
many brands throughout the course of the 1970s and 80s, however the Ball was resurrected by
private investors and was relocated to Switzerland where it continues with its tradition of making
accurate and reliable timepieces today.
At 40mm in diameter the watch is actually a lot smaller in size and scale than it might appear. This
model has a 14.5mm thickness and has a 50mm lug to lug length from top to bottom. It has a
manufacturer suggested retail price of $3335.00 dollars.
This watch is powered by the BALL RR1102-CSL, an ETA 2836-2 base caliber movement which is
COSC chronometer certified. It is also highly shock resistant and antimagnetic in keeping with the
Railroad standard. The Ball Hydrocarbon has 200m of water resistance and uses a patented crown
protection system, keeping the crown safe from both impacts and inadvertent manipulations while
submerged.
It features an antireflective domed sapphire crystal, and a unidirectional elapsed time bezel that is
also sapphire capped and lumed. The dial, handset and bezel contain 30 micro gas tubes for low
light illumination.
A few of the notable features about this watch include the crown protection system. A signed and
decorated hinged latch secured by a spring-loaded button, swings away, exposing the crown which
can then be unscrewed and used to hand wind the movement and set the time and date.
The coin edged stainless steel bezel assembly with sapphire cap is a 120 click unidirectional
timing device used to track the passage of time in 60 minute increments. The action is smooth
and the sapphire glass top scratch resistant and durable, as compared to watches with an
aluminum bezel insert.
The tritium micro gas tubes, seen most notably on the handset, has a faint but persistent glow
providing low light illumination and legibility without the need for an external light source for
charging. The lume isn’t as bright as you might find on watches with a painted lumibrite fill but
neither will it fade over the course of the night without a recharge.
The watch case has an entirely satin brushed finish, with a few small exceptions such as the coin
edged bezel assembly and the crown protection latch. The bracelet is mixed with brushed h-style
links featuring a polished center link. The RR signed clasp is a substantial and nicely finished and
decorated piece of hardware as well.

The Meistersinger Number 3 USA Limited Edition Mellow Yellow, limited to just 50 pieces – one for
each of the 50 states, is a special edition from the popular Number 3 line of German made single
hand timepieces the brand. It’s a watch that, at first glance could strike the viewer as peculiar,
single hand watches are after all not exactly common place. But, after a few moments of orienting
one’s self the display becomes simple to read and you quickly build a comfort level with the watch.
This variation of the Meistersinger Number 3 has a MSRP of $2395 USD. It comes appointed with
the limited edition Mellow Yellow dial, and rides on a black vintage saddle leather strap with yellow
contrast stitching.
The watch case dimensions are 43mm in diameter with a height or thickness of just 11.5mm and
a wingspan of 50mm from lug tip to lug tip. The width between the lugs where the strap attaches
the case is 20mm. The watch case is coded in a black DLC finish, and it’s equipped with a doomed
sapphire crystal with an exhibition case back. The watch is 50m water resistant, and the
movement powering the watch is the automatic ETA 2824-2.
In looking closer at the black DLC coated watch case, we can see the finish is a smooth satin black
finish throughout the whole case, including the signed crown. The 6-screw case back with display
window is engraved with the Meistersinger name and notes the limited-edition number of your
watch, number 42 in this case. The ETA movement can be seen through the window as well.
Of course, the primary point of interest with this watch is the dial, and the interesting and unique
single hand time display. The dial itself, called the Mellow Yellow edition, is a smooth creamy
yellow with a slight dark burst fade reaching out to the outer edge of the dial. The Arabic numerals,
hour markers and minute graduations are neatly printed with a few noteworthy accents.
First the graduations at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 position are highlighted in red, in matching with the tip of
the pointer hand. Second, you might notice that at the 5 o’clock position it says 50 as opposed to
05, a node to the 50 states and the watch being limited to just 50 pieces.
In reading the face of the dial you’ll notice that each graduation on the chapter ring represents a 5-
minute interval with larger embellished markers at each 15-minute position. It makes telling the
time within a few minutes of the precise time easy even at a glance, but you won’t get a precise
read on the current time down to the second with a watch like this.
The black vintage saddle leather strap has a DLC coated pin buckle, a pair of keepers, and has
yellow contrast stich accents at the buckle and watch end. The leather has a subtle cross hatched
grain or texture in the top which adds for an additional point of detail.
The Meistersinger Number 3 USA Limited Edition Mellow Yellow is a rare variant, at just 50 pieces,
of the standard Number 3 with a unique dial and design that will stand out in comparison to the
other models within the brands lineup.

The Oris Divers 65 x Momotaro is a stainless steel and bronze appointed variation of the Oris
Divers 65 created in collaboration with the Japanese denim manufacturer Momotaro. “Made by
hand and without compromise”, the slogan of the Momotaro brand, founded at Kojima Okayama in
2006, is named after the famous Japanese fairytale “The Legend of Momotaro.” Of course Oris is
a watch making brand with a history that dates back to the year 1906 where it was founded in the
Swiss town of Holstein, and today makes watches that conform to the Oris credo: “Things must
make sense.” The partnership between the two brands is one that is certainly characterized by a
quote from the Oris philosophy, “While others follow a path, we define our own.”
This version of the Oris Divers 65 is a 40mm in diameter watch, across the round of the case, not
including the crown and has a thickness of 13mm with a measurement of 20mm between the
lugs. It has an MSRP of $2200 dollars USD. It’s a 100m water resistant diver with an oversized and
signed screw down crown and has a double doomed sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on
the underside of the crystal. The unidirectional elapsed time bezel has a bezel assembly made
from bronze and has a fully graduated aluminum bezel insert.
The dial is in a green with a sunburst gradient fade out to the edge and is appointed with bronze
applied markers and features a bronze pencil style handset. The markers and hands are filled with
green superluminova glow in the dark lume and as you may have noticed this is a no date version
of the Divers 65.
Regarding the lume, it’s billed as “light old radium” and while it is functional it’s not the brightest
lume on the market in practice. It gives of a green tint illumination that works well when fully
charged but does fade more quickly than the gold standard Seiko Lumibrite.
The watch runs the Oris 733 movement, a calibre based on the Sellita SW200-1. It’s an automatic
self-winding movement, running at 28,00vph and is equipped with 26 jewels giving the user a
power reserve of 38 hour. It’s a time tested, and reliable design cloned from the widely used ETA
2824, which in this case is then modified with refinements specific to the specifications of Oris.
The watch rides on a blue Momotaro denim strap with tan contrast stitching, is equipped with an
Oris signed tang buckle, and includes the Momotaro brand hallmark of two white stripes. The
watch is also accompanied by a Momotaro denim watch pouch and travel bag to complete the
package.
The stainless-steel case is finished in the typical Oris Divers 65 style, with a stain brushed top and
polished flanks, and is topped by the double domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a
vintage diver aesthetic pulling design queues from the original 1960’s Oris dive watches.
The big crown has a size and scale making the manipulation of the device easy and offers smooth
operation. The bronze appointed bezel has a smooth action and the edge knurling is adequate at
providing a gripe and traction without being overly aggressive.
The 40mm Oris Divers 65 is always a nice watch on the wrist. The size, scale and proportions are
very accommodating to a wide array of wrist sizes and the Momotaro denim strap is as
comfortable a strap as I’ve seen, thanks in part to its lined underside. The stainless Oris signed
tang buckle is a high-quality milled accessory and nicely executed.

The Glashutte Original Sixties Chronograph, from a Saxon watchmaking brand with an
uninterrupted history that begin in the year 1845, is a watch from their vintage collection and the
2020 annual edition with a Glacier Blue dial. The annual release of exclusive Sixties series editions
has been a source of excitement in the watch world since 2018, and for the first time Glashutte
Original has introduced this chronograph model alongside the companion time only variation of
the watch.
This version of the Glashutte Original Sixties Chronograph, reference number 1-39-34-04-22-04,
has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $8300 USD. The polished stainless-steel case has
dimensions of 42mm in diameter, with a thickness of just under 12.5mm. It has a wingspan of
measuring in at 48mm from lug tip to lug tip, and it is 20mm between the lugs where the strap
attaches to the case. It has piston style pushers for the operation of the chronograph function and
the movement powering the watch is the calibre 39-34. The watch also has a domed sapphire
crystal, 30m of water resistance, and rides on a brown nubuck calfskin leather strap equipped with
a signed stainless-steel pin buckle.
While the overall fit and finish of the watch is exceptional, with its high polished case, bezel and
pushers and featuring a beautifully decorated movement visible through the display case back, the
main event for this timepiece is obviously the glacier blue dial. It’s a look that my camera almost
certainly won’t do justice, and it’s one you have to see in person to genuinely appreciate. The
glacier blue dial has a texture to it that plays well with the radiant effect as seen when the light hits
the dial from different angles, and the outer extremities of the dial fade to a darker shade of blue
towards the edge.
The subdials for the active running seconds and the chronographs 30-minute register are recessed
and have a concentric circular pattern which helps eliminate any reflections off the dial in those
spots and aids in the legibility of the timepiece.
The incised indices, printed numerals and branding, as well as the super luminova plots at each
hour marker are of a simple and clean design as to not take anything away from the dial itself.
The high polished handset includes an application of luminescence in a thin central recess and are
precise yet understated, again as to not distract from the dial but still give the user a functional
and legible daily timepiece.
The domed sapphire crystal is in keeping with the 1960s inspired design aesthetic and gives the
look and feel of a vintage plexiglass with the durability of modern scratch resistant sapphire glass.
The display cashback is also covered with a sapphire cystal giving the viewer a look at the nicely
decorated and appointed calibre 39-34 movement. The 39-34 is 51 jewel modular (Dubois-Depraz)
chronograph based on the caliber 39 platform. The 39 platform is a Glashutte manufacture
automatic movement with 40 hour power reserve running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It features
decoration that include a Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, swan-neck fine
adjustment, 21ct gold skeletonized rotor with stripe finish and double-G logo, beveled edges, and
polished steel parts.

anniversary limited edition that Grand Seiko bills as “an unmistakably and quintessentially Grand
Seiko timepiece paying homage to the 44GS model from 1967 – a watch whose design was the
first ever expression of the uniquely Japanese Grand Seiko Style, a style that has been the brands
visual signature ever since.”
This watch comes in at a case diameter of 40mm and has a thickness just over 13mm. The case
is of stainless-steel construction and offers 100m of water resistance. The crystal is of course
high-quality scratch resistant sapphire featuring antireflective coating on the underside and the
watch is running the high beat 37 jewel calibre 9S85 movement. All of this for a manufacturer’s

The range of color and the dynamics of the sunray texture of this dial are, I’ll admit, difficult to
capture on camera and no doubt the videography herein will not do the watch justice. Suffice to
say it’s really something you must see in person to fully appreciate. That said, like a great many
Grand Seiko models, this dial is a winner and it’s no surprise that dials are one of the two things
the brand is best known for.
The stainless steel applied markers and the handset of the SBGH281 are contrasted by the golden
Grand Seiko logo and a red seconds hand, a design choice they say was “made in honor of the
60th anniversary that together symbolize the sunrise and all the new energy that a new dawn
brings.”
The watch case and bracelet are in the familiar Grand Seiko design theme seen across much of
the range of timepieces in their collection and of course feature the other thing the brand is best
known for, their high-quality finishing and zaratsu polishing. The bracelet terminates into a dual
trigger deployant clasp that is signed with the Grand Seiko logo.
The Calibre 9S85 high beat automatic movement can be seen through a limited-edition inscribed
display case back. The movement beats at 36,000 vph, has 55-hour power reserve, and is
advertised as delivering accuracy in a range of -3 to +5 seconds per day. The movement is nicely
decorated with Geneva striping and gold-filled branding and accents.
It’s a watch that will feel familiar to anyone who’s gotten to the know the Grand Seiko brand but it
does offer some unique character of its own for the person looking for something that is
quintessentially Grand Seiko, but perhaps just a little bit different.

The spring drive equipped SBGA407 is a watch housed in a classically styled case wearing a familiar
but subtly different dial. Yes it is a snowflake dial, similar to the SBGA211, but obviously this is a bit
different. This is a new blue snowflake dial and it takes the classic and wildly popular white
snowflake dial to a new level. Seiko calls the snowflake dial a “unique dial pattern inspired by the
wind-swept snow in the mountains of Shinshu”, and to “emphasize the delicate dial, it is treated with
a subtle blue color.”
The SBGA407 is housed in an entirely high polished stainless steel case that comes in just a hair
over 40mm in diameter, with a thickness of just under 13mm and a wingspan of 48mm top to bottom
from lug tip to lug tip. The dial is covered by a box sapphire crystal with antireflection coating applied
to the inside of the crystal. The watch is 100m water resistance, rides a blue crocodile strap with a
three fold clasp with push button release, and of course runs the 9R65 Spring Drive movement.
Unveiled in 1999, the Grand Seiko spring drive is a movement that needs no introduction. The 9R65 is
an innovative hybrid of mechanical and quartz watchmaking that gives the user the highly accurate
level of timekeeping precision through quartz oscillation with the convenience of an automatic self-
winding mechanism and a power reserve indicator display. But, simply having an accurate and
durable movement wasn’t enough, Grand Seiko also puts an emphasis on decoration as well and it
makes for a handsome presentation thought the display case back window.
That said, like it’s cousin the white snowflake dialed SBGA211, this watch has one main event and it’s
the blue snowflake dial. The dial texture is one that you can easily look at as you glance down at your
watch, only to realize you were so distracted you actually forgot to check the time as you’re looking
away, and yes that has happened to me. The stainless applied markers and the high polished
dauphine hands are equally well done, as is the framed date window positioned to the 3 o’clock side
of the dial. The deep blued seconds hand creates a contrast between the lighter blue dial that plays
well within the whole composition and of course the power reserve indicator and the textured reserve
scale are inset to the dial nicely below the central hand stack.
It’s a watch for someone looking for an alternative to the ever popular white snowflake, that gives the
same vibe and character but brings the design to a new level with a unique character all its own.

The linen like texture of this grey dial is another one that is difficult to capture on camera and no
doubt the videography herein will not do the watch justice. It is really something best seen in
person to fully appreciate the subtle beauty. That said, to my eye and for the person looking for
something interesting yet still understated, it’s a great looking dial that won’t stand out and
demand the attention of every casual onlooking glancing at your wrist.

are meticulously applied and finished, as one would come to expect from the brand. The framed
date window and the dial printing are equally well done, and you might even notice a little detail on
the chapter ring visible under macro, concentric circular striations that match the finishing on the
applied markers.
The watch case and bracelet are in the familiar Grand Seiko design theme seen across much of
the range of timepieces in their collection and of course feature something the brand is best
known for, their high-quality finishing and zaratsu polishing. The bracelet terminates into a dual
trigger deployant clasp that is signed with the Grand Seiko logo. And as nice as the watch looks in
the hand, it feels just as good on the wrist. Not exactly a surprise but as with all watches you can
never be sure until you try it on for yourself in person.
The Calibre 9S85 high beat automatic movement can be seen through a limited-edition inscribed
display case back. The movement beats at 36,000 vph, has 55-hour power reserve, and is
advertised as delivering accuracy in a range of -3 to +5 seconds per day. The movement is nicely
decorated with Geneva striping and gold-filled branding and accents.
For the person looking for something from Grand Seiko that has a similarity to a watch like their
SBGA211 snowflake, but perhaps prefers stainless steel over titanium or wants a dial that is a little
more subtle and under the radar, this SGBH279 model is a must see.

Today we’re revisiting the Grand Seiko SBGA211, or the Snowflake as it’s known, a watch that has
appeared here on the channel in the past but one that we think deserves another look. It’s one of
the most popular and best selling watches in the Grand Seiko catalog and a watch collectors fan
favorite, so it’s definitely time to go back and take a closer look at this fantastic watch.
First, the features, specifications, and price. The Snowflake has a manufacturer’s suggested retail
price of $5,800 dollars. The watches dimensions come in at 41mm in case diameter with a
thickness of 12.5mm, and it has a wingspan of 48.5mm from lug tip to lug tip. Finally, the length
between the lugs where the bracelet attaches to the case is 20mm in width.
The remaining features and specifications include construction from high intensity titanium on
both the watch case and bracelet, a dual curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the
underside, a signed and screw down crown, 100m of water resistance, and of course the watch is
powered by the 9r65 spring drive movement.
And while all of that makes for an impressive looking watch on paper, there are two real hallmarks
that have lifted the Grand Seiko SBGA211 to a legendary status amongst watch fans, the white
snowflake dial and the exceptional fit and finish.
The watch case and bracelet feature a mix of both brushed and polished surfaces and the
mirrored zaratsu polishing as seen on the bezel, the chamfered edges of the case, and on the
bracelet links is something that grabs your attention. The process of zaratsu polishing is a skill
that takes craftsmen at Grand Seiko years to master before being permitted to do final finishing
on a watch case meant to be sold.
Interestingly, the history of this finishing process began back in the 1960’s. A designer for Grand
Seiko was given the task of giving the watches and the brand an identity that would stand out from
it’s competition. This designer spent time analyzing consumer reaction to watches from around
the world and concluded that for the Grand Seiko product to stand out amongst the pack it should
attract the eye and needed more brilliance. His design concept was to create watches with sharper
angles and mirrored distortion free polished surfaces that would “sparkle with quality”.
Two watches were released in 1967 and 68 respectively which would demonstrate this new style
and aesthetic. They were the 44GS and 61GS, and are acknowledged by many as Grand Seiko
masterpieces today.
And while the sharp angles and mirror polished surfaces of the case do grab your attention some
would say that they’re eclipsed by the real main event of this timepiece, the Snowflake dial. It’s a
dial texture that Seiko says resembles freshly fallen powder snow inspired by the Japanese
mountain views just beyond the design team’s studio. To me, it resembles a fine parchment paper,
but regardless of the imagery that captures your minds eye when you look at the dial it’s clear why
so many fans of the brand love this watch.
The dial’s applied markers and the handset that sets above are sharp and crisp with facets and
bevels that are precise, and feature mirrored polishing that is every bit an equal to the finishing on
the case. And, as if to remind you of the chilled snow covered mountains on which much of this
design draws it’s inspiration, the final touch is a cool blued central seconds hand giving the watch
it’s only splash of color.

The absence of a dial and the use of a sapphire crystal dome set directly onto the carbon fiber case allow full visual access to the movement from both the top and sides, accentuating the three-dimensionality of the movement’s architecture.
The red gold lugs, which are securely attached to the carbon fiber case and reinforced with an armature of carbon fiber, have a very technical shape and echo the titanium bridges of the movement. However, the intricacy of the lugs is softened by the clever use of polished chamfered edges and contrasting satin-finished surfaces.
The tourbillon even goes a step further. It does not boast an ordinary movement that has been skeletonized afterwards, but a tourbillon movement that has been created from scratch to be as open, three-dimensional and resplendent as possible.
