When we put our trust in the superior knowledge and wisdom of God, by submitting our plans to His scrutiny. We will gain clear understanding and insight. We will be secure in our decision making and more likely to have the right outcome. David wrote in Psalm 23:1; "THE LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want". This is a powerful proclamation of faith in the God of his Fathers. We don't need to have any great qualifications or status to open the door to the Lord's Kingdom. We only need faith and humble obedient hearts. Faith enables us to declare the seemingly impossible as done. Obedience opens the doors of favour in our lives. We seek only to follow the voice of the Good Shepherd.

The Bible is filled with promises, spoken by God over His people. These promises help to remind us that the Father has not left us to battle through life on our own. As His children, the Lord has made detailed and specific provisions for everyone of our needs; every challenge that we will face, and every question that we will have. We have continual access to Him, where we can make our requests known to Him and receive the right provisions. Of course, there is the right way of approaching the Lord that will ensure success. In today's episode we reflect on the life of Joseph, son of Israel. How he remained/stayed faithful to his God in through the most most devastating tests that a young person could possibly face. At the age of 17, Joseph's brothers plotted to kill him because of jealousy. But you can't kill purpose. Miraculously his life was spared, but he was sold into slavery. Far away from home and his beloved father; Joseph shows us why God chose him and not one of his older brothers. He was honestly, hardworking, reliable and trustworthy. That did not prevent him from suffering. Purpose must prevail! Throughout his time of testing and trials Joseph's life reflected his heart of integrity and the fear of the Lord. So God blessed him and fulfilled in him His promise that he would rule over all his family. Joseph lived a life that honour God and love for people, especially forgiveness to those who hurt him. #LESSONS TO LIVE BY.

The FAITH SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD. FAITH comes through our hearing the WORD of GOD. Romans 10:17. What we do with the WORD determine the direction our lives will take. If we obey the WORD; we're sowing the seeds in well watered soils (by the rivers of water). Even if our grasp of the Word is only tiny like a mustard seed, taking action will bring positive results (expected end); Psalm 1:1-3. This person is referred to as Righteous! There is also an outcome for those who hear the WORD and refuse to take the right actions. Psalm 1:4-5 says this person is ungodly and a sinner. Even if you've been attending church all your life: this is true for you too!!!

Job knew that whatever was happening to him was not because he had sinned against God. Neither was it because God was being vindictive or picking on him. So Job was able to maintain his confidence in God who had taken care of him all his life; blessed him with abundance in everything he could have desired. Job was also very much aware that everything belongs to God and He has the power and authority to test us if and as He wishes. We don't own ourselves or anything that we have.
