Meet Dr. Melanie McNally - https://www.destinationyou.net/about

Melanie helps teens and young adults become the superheroes of their own life stories by teaching them how to become more comfortable with who they truly are. She grew up in a pretty dysfunctional home and struggled with anxiety most of the time. Worrying about everything— grades, what others thought of her, parent’s constant fighting, her future, money, swim meets and softball games... you name it, she worried about it.

Melanie ended up learning about psychology during her undergraduate school and loved it; however, she wanted some life experience before she was going to do anything with it. Melanie loves working with teens and young adults because she gets to give them the tools that she wish she would’ve had when she was younger. Nothing makes her happier than hearing a client change their negative self-talk, become less anxious, and learn to like themselves, flaws and all.

ABOUT EMMA

"Here’s what I did starting at the age 14 when I hit rock bottom which got me here today:

  • slowly started waking up earlier until I reached 5am and worked out before school at this time
  • deleted Snapchat and blocked all toxic friendships online
  • refused to let kids at school into my life/ control me anymore
  • only went to school to study and learn
  • spent every minute at home pursuing my side hustle (this account)
  • physically stopped talking to anyone who used me/ made my life bad (chose loneliness over fake friends)
  • found a way of eating that worked for me (plant based, whole foods)
  • started exercising every day (things I loved like running)
  • set time limits on my phone for social media and screen time
  • made my purpose inspiring and helping people so that I had joy and a reason to live And one day many months later I woke up and realised my life could not get any better, despite the fact that I was physically still in the same environments.

You are the only person that will change your life!
