Greg has earned his 7th dan black belt in martial arts as well as his Masters Degree in the field of Social Work. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker which transfers nicely into his work with individuals and families in his lifework and ministry at Leadership Martial Arts. He has many years of education and experience in the field of recreation therapy and leading outdoor adventure trips.
Greg is a voracious learner and provider of non-mainstream growth and thinking hacks. He is a business owner of 30 years, dog owner and trainer, tree planter, hunter, camper, canoeist and observer of people, behaviors and patterns. Greg is a connoisseur of cold-brew coffee, enemy of the Japanese Beetle, lover of raspberries and the perfectly-placed hammock.
Other thoughts: Get and keep first things first. We have many roles and learn many views from the total of the life experience we have-use them all! Ask better questions. Trust your intuition. Ditch the screens-get your feet dirty. Get comfortable and confident in being uncomfortable.

A Bit About Our Guest.
Dr. Jeremy graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2008. Previously Dr Jeremy graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in Biology Pre-Med. He is currently licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Following graduation from chiropractic school Dr Jeremy attended an 8 month immersion training at one of the profession's largest clinics in Romeoville, II. With his wife Jenn, he then opened his office in Woodbury MN. Dr Jeremy has since served as a member of the wellness advisory council to USA Wrestling, Judo, and Weightlifting including serving at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He has also served as team chiropractor for many local athletic programs, from youth teams up to the University level at Concordia University, St Paul and the semi-pro football Northland Bulls of the NEFL. He has received advanced certification in structural correction, nutrition, and detoxification, and continued to learn new and innovative ways to best enhance the function of the nervous system and improve innate healing. Dr Jeremy lectures on health and wellness at many corporations throughout the metro area and the St Croix Valley.
At NorthStar Family Chiropractic we take a specific and individualized approach to each case, as each person is uniquely different. Thermography and digital X-Rays are used to objectively measure and track progress. We use cutting edge adjusting techniques and body weighting protocols to help guide the body into a more functional position and take advantage of its own natural reflexes for assistance in the correction. A Bit About Our Guest.
Dr. Ayla Wolf is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine specializing in neurological disorders, chronic pain, and concussion recovery. She is a faculty member of the Carrick Institute and adjunct faculty for the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine and American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is an international speaker on topics in applied clinical neuroscience, functional neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, and biomedical mechanisms of acupuncture.
During her time in Dallas, Texas she was the team acupuncturist for the UFC and Legacy fighters training out of Fortis MMA and Octagon. She currently treats patients in her private practice in Stillwater, MN.
Dr. Wolf is also contributing author to the book Concussion Discussions: A Functional Approach to Recovery After Brain Injury. This book is available on Amazon.
Dr. Ayla Wolf DAOM provides NCCAOM-approved online and in-person courses in functional neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurological examination techniques. Fast forward five years later, Melissa upgraded to a second location, a team of 14, and launched an online membership called Dance on Demand.

I’m sure most of us would have the gut response of, “Of course not! I’m working my tail off, doing all the things!”

Looking back on the year and reflecting on all the things. What worked, what didn’t, and everything in between.
Over the past six years, I have been super intentional about my goal setting practice. Not only what I wanted not only my business to look like, but my life. Kids, family, relationships, health, finances and spiritual. It’s so fun to look back at those years and see what goals were accomplished, and which ones got put back on the list.
The good?
Each year, I’ve gotten better. Better at setting goals, better at planning and executing them and this year was the best year in accomplishing them.
And Yes! 2021 was another personal best year. AWESOME!

Asking for help can be hard. 😩
Really hard. 🤦🏻♀️
There’re a lot of reasons for this. A couple off the top of my head, maybe we feel weak, or that we really shouldn’t need help because we’re not that out of control. The thing is… many of us don’t ask for help until we’re at the breaking point.
As brick and mortar business owners, I do not want that for any of us. Yet when I coach clients - that’s where many of them are. They are overwhelmed, stressed out and feel like they are sucking at everything because they are always exhausted.

In my twenties, I was drawn to dentistry and orthodontics for the artistry and the gift of service to others. In my thirties, I came to understand my passion for uplifting and empowering my patients by guiding them through finding their confidence by transforming their own smiles. I fell in love with empowering my team to support our patients in their journeys and to make a broader impact on our world by empowering others. We need to be super intentional with what we are doing today in our business, creating the system as we are doing the action so we can duplicate it next time easily - without having to scramble to find the list of details we need to make it happen.

A bit about Mackenzie Heisler:
Mackenzie worked as a professional dancer, choreographer, and mover & shaker with a nonprofit dance program and as a freelance artist for ten years, then decided it was time for the next creative venture.
She has had a passion, talent, and vision for all things aesthetic and creative for her entire life. The idea of visually merchandising your home, closet, appearance, and life was ingrained into her spirit from her grandmother and mother. The expression of self that comes from a developed approach to individual aesthetic and detail is something owner Mackenzie is always editing, evolving, and discovering in her life.
The name Kenzington as you could guess comes from a spin off of Mackenzie or as close friends and family call her Kenzie. Kenzington was a name she developed at a young age as her alter ego, and she wanted to see that name go big somehow, some way. During Mackenzie‘s lifelong career as a dancer from age three- she dreamed of being on the big stages, and then gracing the screens like some of those admirable icons she followed and looked up to like Marilyn Monroe, Twiggy, Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, and Cher (to name a few). These icons influenced Mackenzie with their beauty, style, and grace.
The idea of Kenzington came from wanting women to have a space that would allow them to enhance and capture their personal style from what they wear, to how they decorate, and how they carry themselves. A space that is imaginative and inspiring, and maybe a bit nostalgic. "Turn heads without conforming to the masses," is our motto here.
Mackenzie is a self taught entrepreneur and designer, but graduated from the University of Minnesota with BFA in Dance and Dance Education. She had a prosperous career as a dancer, and doesn't plan to ever completely hang up her leotard, but plans to bring a new found creative and artistic approach to the retail world.
Mackenzie grew up wearing extravagant and over the top costumes, and that never really seemed to stop in the theater, she became known to go that extra mile and do things like wear leather pants and stilettos to football games because it "fit her mood that day." Her love for style has translated beautifully into the retail world, she is big on movement, luxurious fabrications, and bold statements. Being un-apologetically you and taking fashion and style risks are just a few of the rules Kenzington follows when it comes to their style.

Her dance credits include, Paul McCartney’s “Back in the US” tour, The Nutcracker Fantasy, The Super Bowl Half-Time Show and many plays and industrials in which she was the dance captain.
Angela has acted in over 300 commercials including being the spokesperson for American Furniture and Appliances. Her voice can be heard on the radio, websites and training videos.
Angela started teaching dance over 20 years ago and has taught at many different studios throughout the Twin Cities.
She is the co-host of the podcast, "Elevate Your Studio" and is featured in the book, "Dance Studio Secrets" by Clint Salter.

Rachel Gaetz is a Twin Cities portrait photographer who is based out of Hudson, WI. Her business Ray & Grace Photography specializes in family portraits, wedding photography, and boudoir photography. She thrives on creating candid, joyful imagery and prides herself on conducting her sessions in a way that's fast, fun, and actually enjoyable.
Rachel is originally from Oak Lawn, IL and moved to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota. She earned a degree in journalism and also found herself a husband while in college. Shortly after getting married and becoming a mom to her first daughter Cecelia, she started a blog documenting her little family's life. That blog eventually spurred a successful photography business and her family grew to include four kids.

Batching our work is not a new concept. I love it. Creating an ideal week and scheduling our time to be most productive. But my favorite part of batching is knowing when I can turn work “off." Creating a schedule that includes designated white space has been so freeing allowing more fun and creating deeper relationships.
Raising five kids is not for the faint of heart. Everyone has a wish or a want, and trying to please everyone can seem daunting at times.
