There's a blessing when you know your calling. You are ordained and set apart to fulfill your calling to make Jesus famous. It's not mundane, it's ordained.
This week, Pastor John speaks about the blessing of baptism. There are three baptisms we go through as believers. 1st baptism: salvation. 2nd baptism: water baptism by the disciples. 3rd baptism: baptism by the Holy Spirit. In sin, we just exist; in Christ we LIVE! We are meant to be immersed in the things of God

God's love is wrapped up in the reality He wants to meet with us at the table. Jesus took our place so we can have a seat at the table. The Lord prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies, it is in this place that the truth of His love for us comes alive.
The enemy wants us to believe that there is no absolute truth. It's important to have the Word of God in us so we can combat the lies of the enemy. This week, Pastor John discusses that all truth is rooted in Jesus. It's the truth that sets us free and Jesus is the truth.
This week, Pastor John discusses the words that we wear. We must get in the habit of seeking God daily and having Heavenly transactions - getting in the practice of laying down what others speak over us and replacing it with what GOD says about us. 50 days after Passover came the feast of Pentecost. This is the day God would send His spirit to baptize the followers of Jesus with power to be a witness in the upper-room. The Holy Spirit brings power to our lives to fulfill the purpose and destiny each and every one of us has to advance the Gospel of Jesus
Our heart for this entire series is to focus more and grow closer with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has gifts that are available to the believer, but many times people focus on gifts more than the giver of the gifts. We believe the Holy Spirit desires holiness in us, and then from that place His good gifts can flow through us. One of the ways this happens is often through a difficult or what we would call a "desert season" which allows us to be developed and to rely more on the power of the Holy Spirit. Our desert seasons can make us a danger to the devil and allow His gifts to flow through us to push back the kingdom of darkness.
Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and because of that He walked in authority to push back darkness. When we say yes to Jesus He wants to immerse us in His Spirit so we can walk in authority to love the world and advance the Kingdom.
The Holy Spirit produces a fruit in our lives that allows - Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Producing the fruit is not our job, it's His. We focus on root, not fruit. Being rooted in the presence of God through a personal relationship with The Holy Spirit allows the fullness of all God has to flow through our lives.
Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity and seals everything that God sent Jesus to do in our lives. Many times mentioning the Holy Spirit brings concern to people but He is given to us to be our helper, advocate, and comforter.
When we are new in Christ, the newness never wears off, but there are some spiritual practices that we have to walk in so that we constantly walk in the newness we received at salvation.
That empty grave was our empty grave. We can come home because the work of the cross was finished by Jesus so that the work of proclaiming His message could begin through us.
On Palm Sunday, Jesus sent 2 disciples to untie the colt that He would ride into Jerusalem on to begin Holy Week. Jesus told them if anyone was to ask what they were doing, that they were to answer, "The Lord needs it." This small act of obedience was a necessary work for Jesus to do the greatest work for all of humanity with His death, burial, and resurrection.
In Genesis 1:26 God says, "Let us make human beings in our image." We were made by community for community. In this message, Pastors John and Shauna share God's heart for community and what growing in Voyage community looks like as we continue to move onward in all God has for our church
There is life and death in our words. Every word we speak is on assignment and our words create the respective world we live in. Our words are either poison or fruit- we choose. What are you speaking today?
Trusting God with our time, treasure and talent allows us to be a part of His generosity and sets us up to experience God's abundant provision.
The greatest antidote to pain is forgiveness. When we learn how to forgive others and even ourselves and trust God with our pain, it allows us to fulfill the purpose God has for us. Purpose is often revealed in our greatest pain.
Our souls were created by God and must be entrusted to the one who created us in His image.
Our true value is found in Christ and no where else. When we are in our lowest moments of desperation and find our selves in front of Jesus, that's where value is found. It's the value we need for the voyage of following Him.
One encounter with Jesus can change everything from the inside out. The Mat represents our struggles and it's not that we don't have struggles any more but that they no longer have us because of Jesus.
